His name is Austin Brown. Yes, he was raised in the church, so has a gospel background. He also studied musical theatre, there are videos of him singing Bring Him Home from Les Miserable out there. He has his own channel where he releases his solo work, both covers and originals. For something different, you might watch his solo video of a song he wrote about the work ethic he was raised with called Earn It. Oh, there’s also a great story out there about how Austin ended up in Home Free. The group has existed for over twenty years. Basically, Home Free was playing a concert when Austin was working the cruise ships. One of Austin’s coworkers knew some Home Free guys and warned them about this really excitable guy who was coming to the concert. Sure enough, Austin was so blown away by Tim Foust (the bass) in particular, that he swore then and there he HAD to be in Home Free one day. The rest is history!
Not quite. Home Free were guest artists on the ship where Austin was featured singer. It was always the case that the resident artists and the guests took in each other's shows on the ship, and in this case they were mutually impressed. He and Tim got drunk together, but it was Rob who particularly impressed him and who told him that there was likely to be a vacancy coming up. The actual story from their own lips is on the History of Home Free on Chris Rupp's channel. Btw No-one said that Austin was "really" excitable - just a little.
Here are a few that will take you a little further into the rabbit hole: Take Me Home Country Roads, Blue Ain’t Your Color, My Church, When You Walk In, I Can’t Outrun You, Love Train, End Of the Road, Hillbilly Bone, In The Blood… Who Am I kidding, you could choose anything and it would be phenomenal. My only recommendation is hold off on reacting to “Mayday” until you’ve reacted to at least 10 of their other songs and know all of their names. I’ve been waiting for another Home Free reaction for a while so I’m so glad you made your way back to them. Also, their original songs are amazing too so give “Dive Bar Saints” a listen too. The rabbit hole is deep, wide, and filled with pure joy.
I was in high school when Percy Sledge released that song in the mid-60s. I never thought there'd ever be a better version until I heard Austin Brown do it with Home Free. He kills it.
Amber Amber Amber, I've watched 100's of reactions to this performance. You are now at the TOP of the mountain for the greatest reaction to this performance and no one else is even in the same zip code.
Austin Brown is one of the very best singers I have ever heard in my entire life. Home Free is also very, very supportive of reaction channels. If you reach out to him he'll give you an interview. I've seen him do full 1 hour interviews on other channels. As far as taking you to church, they literally do that on several of their videos. The best one in my opinion is How Great Thou Art, and they have a version of Amazing Grace that is spectacular.
The original by Percy Sledge is a CLASSIC....... Michael Bolton's version was so powerful & soulful........ But WOW, I'm getting goosebumps with this one!!! I rarely love covers this much, but this one is amazing!!!
I was brought up with the Percy Sledge original this is an unbelievable song that hits the depths of your soul with regard to a man loving a woman, hope you get to react to the Percy Sledge original version
The Rob Squad is my favorite reaction site because they are down to earth and unlike most others, do not overreact to what they are listening to. It is funny, and I guess amusing, that what Amber wanted to say was that she didn't think this kind of emotion could come from a white singer. Happens all the time. No one has a monopoly on emotion folks. Great video.

You guys need to hear “Unchained Melody “ by Austin Brown. Amazing. He has one of the most beautiful voices I’ve ever heard. Love your reactions, you’re guys are the best. ♥️
Austin blew this out of the water! Home Free found Austin working as an entertainer on a cruise ship (background in musical theatre) and asked him to join their group - so glad they did! His voice is amazing. You have to listen to some of his solo stuff but any Home Free song is going to be good. Try their cover of End of the Road, or Blue Aint Your Colour, or My Church, or Crazy, or their mash up of Thinking out loud/Let's get it on. To see their more humourous side, check out their Butts Remix or All about that Base. It wont matter what you pick, you will be impressed either way. They are amazingly talented.
Austin Brown was working (singing) on a cruise ship where Home Free was also performing. He told them he would like to sing with them and the opportunity came about where the lead tenor was out for a week. He filled in for him and then the lead tenor retired and Austin took over. The rest is history.
Love Austin Brown and he does this song more than justice. However the original by PERCY SLEDGE, released in 1966 was a huge hit on the POP charts AND R&B charts and the soul he put into it can't be matched. Percy and his band mates wrote this after his girl left him. One of the most perfect songs ever written and I bet most men can relate to the song. You should listen to the original official audio version of this classic.
Percy Sledge did this in the sixties, and I loved it. Then Michael Bolton covered it and I loved that. They both did beautiful jobs. Somehow, Home Free has blown them both out of the water! Wow! Thanks for reacting to this, or I probably wouldn't have heard this version!
I have heard this song many times but this has stopped me in my tracks to give my undecided attention. His voice melts my heart and reminds me where it belongs. Hands down he has a awesome gift. He killed it. Want to hear more from them. Makes me think there is still good out there.
Oh yes, they rotate lead singers. They are all wonderful! "Butts Remix" is hilarious, definitely check that one out. They also did a wonderful version of "Ring of Fire", "Love Train," "Some Girls Do," and so many others. You can't go wrong with Home Free. Austin Brown sings lead on this one. He has his own UA-cam channel and his version of Etta James' "At Last" is incredibly beautiful. Tim Foust (the deep bass), does a duet of "Misty Mountains" with Peter Hollens that will blow you away. The last note on that song sounds like it came from deep within the earth.
Tami Simkins That is known as basso profundo - it may also be heard in some Russian Orthodox choir pieces where the bass goes so low that it doesn't sound human. The voice is the first musical instrument to ever exist, and according to Orthodox Christian tradition the most perfect instrument with which to praise God - unaccompanied by anything else.
Home Free is phenomenal! You should listen to End of the Road. I played their version of How Great Thou Art to my dad and he was just mesmerized. I have been staying with my folks for the last two months taking care of my dad. He passed on October 23. We will be playing Home Free at his funeral tomorrow. He's smiling in Heaven, I just know it.
I am 66 years old and I have been affiliated with music all of my life and have heard many people sing different songs, but this group and this young man is absolutely amazing, awesome 😮.
The original recording of "When a Man Loves a Woman" was in 1966 by Percy Sledge. I just realized you haven't reacted to Percy Sledge yet! One of the greatest R & B and Soul singers EVER! starting in 1960 until his passing 7 years ago. Just a sample of his gajillion hits: "Out of Left Field", "It Tears Me Up", "Cover Me", "Warm and Tender Love", "Take Time to Know Her".
From a fellow Okie, and a die hard fan of Home Free. This is the absolute best reaction to home free I have ever seen. Keep the Home Free reactions coming! Love Yall!!
Also an Okie who absolutely loves these guys. They're the best and I've got seven decades of being a music fan, but nobody has been so consistently great as these guys... except maybe Elvis, but there some of his that I wasn't a huge fan of.
While Percy Sledge is my marker for which I measure the covers of this song, I absolutely adored their rendition and felt Austin in particular killed it. 😍
@B Gallagher I bought Michael Bolton’s album back in the day… Personally, I prefer Austin’s. And Bolton, while extremely talented in his own right, doesn’t even touch the purity of Austin’s high range…
Please don’t wait so long to react to more Home Free!!! Others have listed their many hits but my favorite is “Crazy,” a remake of the Patsy Cline song. They are phenomenal and hearing their version never tears me away from loving the original. In fact, they usually perform hits as an homage to the original singers such as End of the Road (masterful), American Pie with the original writer/singer, Don McLean, and Blue Ain’t Your Color with their own twist. They have a lot of dedicated fans who follow them and their reactors!
Home Free with Billy Gilman " one voice" brings a tear to my eye every time, and God bless the USA with Lee Greenwood ,Home Free and members of the U.S. military always gives me goosebumps.
Thank you for your reaction. Austin did a fabulous job of this classic song. Loved Percy Sledge's version, but this was taken to another level. And remember this was done during quarantine, so the guys weren't even together. The backing harmonies are great, along with Tim's bass. And Adam's vocal percussion is outstanding. This is why these guys are my favorite a cappella group.
OMG I only came across this group in the last few months and fell in love. When a Man Loves a Woman is Beautiful and no instruments involved only makes it more special.
There is no such thing as a "bad or mediocre" Home Free song. Their songs are more like "excellent to outstanding". They run the gambit in covers and even some originals. My list of outstanding ones would include "End of the Road", "Mayday", "American Pie" featuring the OG himself, Don Mclean, "Elvira" featuring the Oak Ridge Boys. When Christmas gets closer, "Beautiful Star of Bethlehem" again featuring the Oak Ridge Boys "O Holy Night", "Warmest Winter". They are especially good with comedic songs, "Butts Remix", "Champaign Taste on a Beer Budget", "Sea Shanty Medley", and "Never Gonna Give You Up" just to name a few. Looking forward to your next Home Free reaction, whatever it may be.
This is the first time listening to and hearing of Home Free and I'm blown away! OMG! They kick booty! Thank you for introducing us to this outstanding band. I've got a lot of listening to do. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
"How Great Thou Art" is a must. In a completely direction would be "Butts Remix" for some fun. You really can't go wrong with anything you pick from them.
Great reaction, more Home Free suggestions: American Pie, with Don McLean, you also get to hear them all take leads. Fishing in the dark/Boondocks, a fun one is country fried pop medley. Woman Amen/Female, Blue ain't your colour, the Gambler, Elvira, Thank God I'm a country boy and Good ol' country harmony. When you get through those there are plenty more.
And when you think the only instrument they use is their mouths. No guitar, no drums, no cowbell, just all acapella. The first time I saw them, they won an acapella contest on TV. I was blown away then and they've gotten nothing but better.
Fun Fact: Austin's Girlfriend was in the room during this so he was singing TO HER; that's why it hits even harder Edit: You should listen to his solo stuff. Unchained Melody is really good. And you wanna hear SOUL, listen to his cover of At Last by Etta James, he does it in the SAME KEY. So impressive
Loved your genuine reaction to hearing this beautiful song being sung with so much deep passion by Home Free...how is it I've never heard of this fantastic band until now????
Saw them on October 22nd. Great show. They do a great job on this song. Nice reaction you two. Austin Brown has a tremendous voice, perfect for the lead here. Yes, I'm a seasoned Home Fry.
This is absolutely fabulous. The lead singer on this song is Austin Brown , high tenor who has a degree in theater arts. He was sing this to his girlfriend at the time and they are now married. Tim is their bass singer who ha s a 5 octive level of singing. Chance is their baritone, bass singer. Rob is a tenor and Adam is their beat boxer. There isn't anything that they can't sing. You should hear two country boys sing Nessum Dormer. It is amazing. It is sung by Austin Brown and Rob Lindquist who also has degree in theater arts and has had opera training. You will be blown away.
Thank you sooo much for finally reacting to some more HOME FREE....They have so many awesome songs to hear. You get so lost in the incredible vocal abilities of them all, you forget that there are no instruments. Adam Rupp was OUTSTANDING IN THIS ONE.
Home Free are such an amazing group, their melodies and harmonies are so amazing they send me to the next level. Home Free can sing anything you put in front of them. Love them, love them.
The whole group is filled with amazing singers but Austin Brown is the lead on this. He also has his own channel and he has held contests where fans could win a personal concert in the fan's backyard.
The original is by Percy Sledge. The lead on this is Austin Brown and he's amazing 👏 Austin has his own UA-cam channel definitely give him a listen. Austin is from Georgia Tim Foust the bass is from Texas Rob Lundquist the other tenor beside Austin is from Minnesota. Adam Rupp is the beat-boxer and his brother Chris Rupp who left the group for a solo career are founding members from Minnesota. Adam Chance who goes by " Chance" is from Alabama he is the Baritone but can sing Bass. Home Free won on the " Sing Off" which Pentatonix won a few years earlier.
Originally sung by Percy Sledge. Lots of babies conceived listening to this song. Every song sung by Home Free is perfection. This is Austin Brown singing the song. He's great!
I love you guys!! I’m a Home Fry and they are beyond all words! His name is Austin Brown and he is phenomenal. They all are… every one of them are the very best at what they do. Their bass, Tim Foust breaks speakers because he goes so low. I call him a dragon. The beat boxer, Adam Rupp is just barely human! No body can do what he does, nobody. Adam Chance’s voice sounds like chocolate, liquid warmth… and Rob Lundquist is a beautiful tenor that’s like honey. There is nothing like them. Do “Cover Me Up” or “Hillbilly Bone “ or “Butts Remix” 🐝❤️🤗
I ABSOLUTELY love this version and Amber, I think this is the second song by Home Free that brought tears to your eyes ! No worries, it did the same to me ! !
need to do more home free, from "helplessly hoping" which is pure harmonies, to "butts remix" which is so fun. also their cover of the boyz to men song "end of the road" im amazed how amazing they ALL sing.
five vocalists, Austin Brown, Rob Lundquist, Adam Rupp, Tim Foust, and Adam Chance. Starting as a show group, they toured around 200 shows a year across the United States. The group competed in and won the fourth season of The Sing-Off on NBC in 2013.
I am smiling big as watch you discover just how good Home Free is. You will have to check out their Christmas songs. " Oh Holy Night" and " Do You hear what I hear", talk about making a song their own! I love your Channel! you two are so Cute and make me smile!
You have soooo much more to discover with this amazing group.... they have a very large catalog of covers and original content.... lots more to enjoy!!!!
I've been following you two for quite some time, and this is my very favorite reaction that you've done! The enthusiastic appreciation for a beautiful song is wonderful, I watch it every time I need a "happy" fix!
Some other songs that I HIGHLY recommend you check out by Home Free are "Butts Medley", "My Church" and for Christmas time, "Do You Hear What I Hear". A solo song from Austin Brown (the lead in this video) that I think you guys would flip over is "At Last" where he sings the song in the same key in which Etta James sang it. All of these guys can and do sing lead in different songs. It just depends on whose voice is more suited to the arrangement. Adam Rupp (the beatboxer) doesn't like the limelight and it's very rare to hear him sing, although he sounds like an angel when he does.
Totally LOVE this group and their rendition of this song just gives me chills. SO soulful and emotional, I could listen to them all day. Austin’s voice just blows me away
So glad you're back with Home Free!! Their cover of Take Me Home, Country Roads is amazing... or How Great Thou Art, which will really take you to church. Great reaction!
The main singer and vocals of this song, his name is Austin, and all of them in their own rights. Have beautiful voices, and they do blend very very well together. It’s just amazing that these young folks are trying to keep the arts of various kinds still active it’s a blessing to us all. Thank you for sharing you take care and be safe. Take care of your Beautiful little family.❤🤠
Loved loved loved your reaction to Home Free!!! Austin is amazing! He is actually from Tifton, Georgia, and moved to Nashville with his dad to start a career....while in Nashville he got a job singing on a cruise ship and the other guys in the band were on the ship doing shows. They weren't called Home Free at the time. They weren't looking for another singer at the time but they kept in touch. When one of the original founders of the band decided to get out to help his wife raise their new baby they called Austin to come join them. He just makes me melt hearing him sing.
Not quite - Austin went from Tifton to the University of Kentucky to study musical theatre on scholarship. He then went to LA and sang at various venues before spending several years on the cruise ships. The other guys were a guest act.
How can he be taking us to church, and yet, at the same time FLIRTING outrageously with us!! Amazing. And as if they weren't singing high enough -- that KEY CHANGE!
The group were booked on a cruise and Austin was a singer engaged with the cruise line. When he heard them sing- he said... and I paraphrase, I want to sing with them. So he does!!
Other amazing covers by Home Free that rival if not surpass the original are “End of the Road”, “My Church”, “Mayday” and “Country Road” among others. Any of them would be a great place to continue hearing the range of this wildly talented group.
Guys, I just heard this song tonight. after I heard it I ran to your page to see if you had covered it, and y'all did not disappoint. These guys are awesome
Adam Rupp(percussion) and his brother Chris founded the group when they were in college, about 20 yrs ago. Rob Lundquist, lead tenor da(glasses and beard) joined in 2008(if I remember correctly). These 3 are from Minnesota. Tim Foust, bass with a 5 octave range(dark hair) joined next, he’s from Texas. Austin Brown, high tenor( lead singer in this video) joined in 2012. He’s from Georgia. In 2013 they won “The Sing-off “, an a cappella TV competition. In 2016 Chris Rupp left to pursue a solo career, and he hand picked his replacement, Adam Chance,baritone/bass with a 4 octave range(dark hair with beard). He is from Alabama. They’re all highly trained musicians. It would be great if you checked out songs that highlight each of them. “End of the Road “ is a MUST, with Rob taking the lead. He digs deep into his soul on this. “I Can’t Outrun You”, Adam Chance lead that will hit your heart…he also directed the video. “Your Man”, Tim lead. You heard what Austin can do today. And it would be worth watching one of the concert videos of Adam Rupp doing a drum solo. He is truly the heartbeat of the group. They are quite talented individually, but together they’re heavenly. There are many more to suggest, but if you start with these you’re on your way. “End of the Road “ is the perfect follow up to this.
Yesssss Home Free just NAILED IT...as they always d, and on top of that this was a quarantine cover they did. Others to check out from Home Free, ...of course HOW GREAT THOU ART...you'll be going to church again, a collab with Oeter Hollens on a a U2 song, I Still haven't found what I'm looking for. As for this masterpiece the lead is is *AUSTIN BROWN* , and he even has his own channel and has done some solo stuff, including his own music...but his covers include, Unchained Melody, At Last (the Etta James cover), Put your head on my shoulder (Paul Anka cover), Signed, sealed, delivered (Stevie Wonder cover), My Maria (BW Stevenson cover), Neon Moon (Brooks & Dunn cover) & Tears in Heaven (Eric Clapton cover) and an original If I met you now, that he co-wrote.
I always loved Percy Sledge singing this, then Michael Bolton sang it and I loved that too....But this....whew is my favorite!!!! That voice is amazing!!!!
So glad you finally did another Home Free reaction. I'm hooked on them and just went to see them for the first time in concert a few weeks ago. Check out them doing End Of The Road by Boys to Men, Dreamer, Helplessly Hoping, What We Ain't Got, Dreamer. Blue Ain't Your Color, One Man Band. Butts Medly/Remix and so many more.
Home Free has been a group since 2000 and have changed members over the years but all the boys have been classically training . Those boys are amazing.
I so enjoy your exuberant reactions. If you like this, you should react to Rob taking the lead on End Of The Road, then their fun, crazy side the Butts Medley Remix. There’s nothing these fellas can’t do. They have about 140+ songs in their library and you can’t go wrong with any of them. Also, How Great Thou Art, just might bring a tear. It so beautiful.
Absolutely loved your reaction to this and would love to see you do more Home Free. I don’t think you’d be disappointed whatever you pick but for suggestions - they do a brilliant cover of End of the Road where Rob takes the lead, Helplessly Hoping is a stunning 5 part harmony, All About That Bass, Butts Medley and Country Fried Pop Medley show off their humorous side, Everybody Walking This Land is incredibly impactful and since Rob mentioned Boondocks in this reaction their mashup of Fishin’ in the Dark/ Down to the Boondocks is great. Oh and for more Austin he has a beautiful cover of Tears in Heaven on his solo channel.
These guys literally blow my mind every time they open their mouths. Soooo good! I never thought anyone could ever top Percy Sledge but he’s gonna have to move over. 🌺✌️
Austin Brown is an AMAZING Vocalist and Performer. He is heartfelt, warm, funny! And then when he gets with the rest of Home Free? I'm done! Love these guys!
I’m 71 years old and I’ve heard Percy Sledge sing the hell out of this. But boy oh boy this version had just melted my panties off. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Thanks for the information :)
Earn It is also remarkable for Austin removing his shirt. *sigh*

Agree with their version of Ring of Fire!
Do Butts remix...fun!
Sorry for your loss as I have lost both my parents,it is never easy.
@@donaldk.macbaird5248 Thank you.
I love Austin's facial expressions and his voice is amazing. And Amber, your reaction is priceless.
Austin Brown is their high tenor! Fantastic voice! Thank you for your reactions, love them!
Home Free with Billy Gilman " one voice" brings a tear to my eye every time, and God bless the USA with Lee Greenwood ,Home Free and members of the U.S. military always gives me goosebumps.
YES! I agree with you 100% on these!
Right when he started singing “when I man loves a woman…” INSTANT full body chills!
I agree with all of these songs 👍
all the TRUTH! And In PERSON?!?!? They blow me away every time!
DEFINITELY BUTTS
How Great Thou Art…brings tears to my eyes, even after hearing them sing this a dozen times!
Another vote for "Butts Remix"
Carrie Underwood’s version makes me bawl every single time!! One of the few songs that can truly touch my heart and hit me right in the feels!
perfect suggestions I agree
Great reaction, more Home Free suggestions: American Pie, with Don McLean, you also get to hear them all take leads. Fishing in the dark/Boondocks, a fun one is country fried pop medley. Woman Amen/Female, Blue ain't your colour, the Gambler, Elvira, Thank God I'm a country boy and Good ol' country harmony. When you get through those there are plenty more.
I feel you need to hear the originals first to appreciate the history of the songs.
Austin Brown has a voice of gold
And when you think the only instrument they use is their mouths. No guitar, no drums, no cowbell, just all acapella. The first time I saw them, they won an acapella contest on TV. I was blown away then and they've gotten nothing but better.
I did not know that.😄
Stop watching tv
Sorry......but we need more cowbell 😏🤣 iykyk
@@calvinbrown4037 😝🤣
Fun Fact: Austin's Girlfriend was in the room during this so he was singing TO HER; that's why it hits even harder
Edit: You should listen to his solo stuff. Unchained Melody is really good. And you wanna hear SOUL, listen to his cover of At Last by Etta James, he does it in the SAME KEY. So impressive
I believe her sat her right next to the camera so he could sing to her.
Loved your genuine reaction to hearing this beautiful song being sung with so much deep passion by Home Free...how is it I've never heard of this fantastic band until now????
This was my first introduction to Home Free, and what an intro it was. Great reaction guys 🙋🏻♀️👏🏼🙌🏼👍🏼💜🇨🇦
They cover End of the Road by Boyz 2 men and absolutely kills it. Sounds every bit as good as the original. It's a must reaction.
I've watched nearly every reaction video I can find on this song. Still sends shivers up my spine!!!
I agree!
Austin is one of those artists that watches reactions to his music. He's giving a bunch of shout outs to reactors in the past.
I LOVE Home Free!! I have heard them before. They do justice to every song they sing. PLEASE keep playing them!!
They are amazing! Austin killed it! Anything by them is awesome!
The original is by Percy Sledge.
The lead on this is Austin Brown and he's amazing 👏 Austin has his own UA-cam channel definitely give him a listen.
Austin is from Georgia
Tim Foust the bass is from Texas
Rob Lundquist the other tenor beside Austin is from Minnesota.
Adam Rupp is the beat-boxer and his brother Chris Rupp who left the group for a solo career are founding members from Minnesota.
Adam Chance who goes by " Chance" is from Alabama he is the Baritone but can sing Bass. Home Free won on the
" Sing Off" which Pentatonix won a few years earlier.
Reminding you again guys--' IT'S A CAPELLA!!!!!
So totally agree with you!
@@roniboyd613 ❤️❤️
I ABSOLUTELY love this version and Amber, I think this is the second song by Home Free that brought tears to your eyes ! No worries, it did the same to me ! !
Such an amazing group, Brilliant talent with sound...Whoooo, chills...A-M-A-Z-I-N-G...Thanks guys, Peace
need to do more home free, from "helplessly hoping" which is pure harmonies, to "butts remix" which is so fun. also their cover of the boyz to men song "end of the road" im amazed how amazing they ALL sing.
YES~ Helplessly Hoping and End Of The Road. Most excellent choices!!
Austin Brown is amazing, and so are the others. Tim Faust has such a deep voice, he melts me! They have over 100 songs on UA-cam.
YOUR BEST REACTION EVER! Thought we might lose you for a second there Amber.🤠
This is a very old song that everyone loves to cover. Michael Bolton did an incredible cover of this song mid-80's .
Highly recommend checking out the Michael Bolton version.
Percy Sledge first made it a hit… way back in the Motown days. His version is my favorite, but Michael did a great job with the song, too.
I prefer Michael B. version ! :)
@@matheya Percy Sledge done it better in 1966.
MB takes some heat, but you know, the man can sing. Down with it.
five vocalists, Austin Brown, Rob Lundquist, Adam Rupp, Tim Foust, and Adam Chance. Starting as a show group, they toured around 200 shows a year across the United States. The group competed in and won the fourth season of The Sing-Off on NBC in 2013.
Original by Percy Sledge, 1966. Been covered endlessly. Yes do yourself a favour and listen to the original :) Suggest Stand by Me, by Ben E King.
The best version
I am smiling big as watch you discover just how good Home Free is. You will have to check out their Christmas songs. " Oh Holy Night" and " Do You hear what I hear", talk about making a song their own! I love your Channel! you two are so Cute and make me smile!
Still gives me goosebumps each and every time I hear them sing this song 😍
You have soooo much more to discover with this amazing group.... they have a very large catalog of covers and original content.... lots more to enjoy!!!!
🤯 what a beautiful song by them they have so much talent 🤩🤩
Never heard these guys before. WOW! I am blown away too. What a voice!
It was a combination of all the voices but Austin really put it out there
Wait till you hear more.
Me too
Totally LOVE this group and their rendition of this song just gives me chills. SO soulful and emotional, I could listen to them all day. Austin’s voice just blows me away
Omg...dudes voice is unbelievable! Never heard of this band before but wow, speechless
So glad you're back with Home Free!! Their cover of Take Me Home, Country Roads is amazing... or How Great Thou Art, which will really take you to church. Great reaction!
Love your reactions! They are an amazing group, Austin's voice is spectacular!
You absolutely have to react to Home Free's version of "End of the Road" by Boyz II Men! It will blow your mind.
I second this!
Yes please . Love their rendition of this !
I have to agree with you 100%! Their cover of End of the Road is mind blowing and so worth watching and listening to!!
Yes! They will love it!
Truth
Percy Sledge 1966 = original, & magnificently soulful version of this song. Listen to it!
Incredible voice!
It doesn't hurt that he's singing one of the most soulful songs in existence. 😍🤤
Right-on @Katy-did! And the Righteous Brothers epitomized Blue-Eyed Soul in 1966 with their cover of this Percy Ledge hit!
It also doesn't hurt that his lady, Amberly Hall, was in the studio.
OK are you really ready to be blown away, that was awesome now it's time for Home Free Boys to Men End of the Road it's on believable!
Home Free sings all their songs with all their heart and soul.
The other guys were a guest act.
thank you nice to read about how HOMEFREE MEMBERS
Unquestionably one of their best performances. I love it when they showcase Austin. And this is such a perfect song for him.
Excellent song choices!!!
I agree!! 😊
Blue Ain't Your Color and recently, Crazy
They are not ready for Mayday, yet.
For more Gospel, definitely do How Great Thou Art and Amazing Grace w/ Peter Hollens. :)
You could tell Amber was vibing and almost got captured in the trance of her hauntingly soothing voice in 4:17. This is music!
They have so many good ones it’s hard to narrow down suggestions. I like their funny stuff so the Butts Remix/Medley is a must.
in 1966 this song, sung by Percy Sledge, was number one in the charts in the U.S. and Canada and number 4 in England. Classic southern soul.
I always loved Percy Sledge singing this, then Michael Bolton sang it and I loved that too....But this....whew is my favorite!!!! That voice is amazing!!!!
Burton Cummings does an excellent cover of this song too. And I just found that out tonight!
Goosebumps through the whole song, they are so very amazing with each and every song they sing. Beautiful.
Never heard of this group, how come I've never heard them sing this song before ? what an amazing voice !
Cfree.....Home Free has a youtube channel. You should check out their Butts Remix and their Boondock Mash Up!
They are FANTASTIC!!!!!!! Austin is my favorite!! He smiles when he is singing....clear as a bell voice!
These guys literally blow my mind every time they open their mouths. Soooo good! I never thought anyone could ever top Percy Sledge but he’s gonna have to move over. 🌺✌️
Check out Burton Cummings version and Otis Redding too!
I would love to have you hear: Train “Drops of Jupiter”, James Bay “Hold Back the River” and most definitely James Blunt “You’re Beautiful”
Pretty sure they've already done Drops of Jupiter. Amber already knew it and loves the song if I remember correctly.
Such amazing acapella voices.
Austin Brown is an AMAZING Vocalist and Performer. He is heartfelt, warm, funny! And then when he gets with the rest of Home Free? I'm done! Love these guys!
