- This weeks review is a breakdown of my trip to islay, from traveling from Glasgow to Islay. Breaking down rough estimate costs for taking a car to islay or traveling by bus. Jumping on the boat and accommodation on the beautiful little whisky island. Also pricing on tours and which tours are musts to go and do and a little geography on how close each distillery is and my personal way to travel around these on certain days to get the best of your time on Islay.

Great video Kevin! I'm heading to Scotland from 🇨🇦 for the first time in June. 4 days booked on Islay and I've got tours/tastings booked at Bruichladdich, Laphroaig, Bowmore, Laphroaig and Bunnahabhain. Thanks for the tips and advice. Keep up the videos man, they're great. Cheers 🥃

Sounded like a great trip. The images at the end of the video were amazing. I get the sense that you almost need a week to do the island & distilleries justice.

Fab review on the wonderful Islay! Roll on our next visit in October for 10 days! Will be spending a few days with fellow barflies too ... epic! Be our third trip this year, every time brings something new. The people are wonderful and the scenery breathtaking! Haste ye back!
Great stuff Kevin! Easy to overdo things in the whisky capital of the world. Enjoy your week of recovery, the whole place looks stunning.
I really wanna carve out 2 weeks for an Islay trip and visit one distillery a day and take my time

The bus was great and the bus time table was really easy to read. So after a 19yo Ardbeg as a welcome dram and a wee whistle stop tour we were up to the bus stop and back to Bowmore 🥃
