    I am a 60-years-old-worship guitarist. My musical background were the rocking 70s. This tutorial changed my kind of playing electric guitar years ago. Thank you very much.

    Your both great...😊you're right paul, we are not celebs in the church. We are servants of our great God...thanks.

    I find your videos very inspiring. I'm an acoustic guitar player in our worship team,.We have no lead guitarist. Our worship leader is our lead singer who plays acoustic as well but, with a capo. I try to play in lower or higher tones to compliment his playing. I play finger-style as well as a strumming style and I'm trying hard to learn lead parts that I can play on my acoustic. I hope and pray that you continue to post videos, they're very helpful. Thank you and your guest players, and God bless you and your ministry. :-)

    As a guitar player myself what's "conspicuously absent" in this style of music is a guitar solo. Most of the bigger stuff he played here never makes it to final mix. It's beautiful music but the guitar is usually drowned in reverb, delay and crunch tones and is mostly "ambient". It mostly runs together. But if you don't play these songs this way, they don't sound right. Great video

    • @KevinPlaysGuitar
      @KevinPlaysGuitar 3 роки тому

      Are you talking about the black pedal with the blue line? It could be a Arion SCH-1 Stereo Chorus. The other pedal that he tap is a Boss LS- Line Selector pedal.

    God bless Paul Baloche, but it's so cringy when he's talking about "two basic types of electric guitar." :D I also didn't love what he said about getting the most expensive guitar you can. It may have been more true in 2006, when this came out. 2018 is a great time to be buying inexpensive guitars.

    • @flavanthensome
      @flavanthensome 3 роки тому +1

      He actually didn't say the most "expensive", he said the best quality you can.
