BIG mob vote video coming tomorrow!! Out of the two that we’ve seen what’s your favorite one?!
The sniffer, but i will see what the tuff golem has in stock for us
Sniffer
The Rascal is adorable but the Sniffer has my vote at the moment. ❤
I'm liking the name/idea of the sniffer so far.
Idk what the three do
So happy I caught this series by ep 1. Can't wait to see where this super flat goes in the future =]
I like the challenge of trying to get all of the different professions, as well as all of the different trade sets. Especially the enchants and all of the crop combos.
i've found the metalworking trades are ideal if you have a iron golem farm. all three professions will buy iron ingots (sometimes the armor won't though, but the weapon maker and tool maker seem to always buy ingots) if you have 2 of each of the metal professions, by the time you get done trading with the 6th village, the first one will have usually reset his trades and you can go around again. you can make three cycles in a day, and it will sell off just about 5 stacks of ingots, and a bunch of emeralds.
it's also the low-risk way to get your diamond tools and armor. the hardest part is getting the villagers out of the the tier 1 trades....you end up with a whole bunch of stuff you don't really need. (save what you need, ditch the rest to despawn on their own or dump in a lava pit)
14:13 "You're gonna work right here and your name, it's Anderson."
Anderson: side eyes
You should let the allay hold wheat to collect it for you
:)
If the villager breeder is going slow, it may be because the farmer villager is farming wheat, beetroot, or potatoes. Which drop seeds and poisonous potatoes, that fill up the villagers inventory, which causes them to have less space to share food with other villagers.
Carrots are the best crop for a villager breeder.
first time watching your superflat series on MC and I love it!!!!!!!!! :-D good luck with it and the wheat farm emerald machine is SO DOPE!
THANKS FOR CHECKING IT OUT!!
@@wattlesplays you're welcome! :)
What you can do with all those extra seeds is turn them into bone meal from an auto bone meal machine
The villagers refill their trades about 2 times a day. Also there is a chance that the Cartographer will sell you item frames. Looking good Wattles.
Avomace has a great crop farm and iron farm combo that’s red stone free that I use in every world.
You can use the drops to sell for emeralds and you can also connect it to an auto-compost for bonemeal. Same with an iron farm. You can take the poppies and sort them out into a auto compost.
And it’s like…pretty efficient. And server friendly.
The greatest farmles has returned
ALWAYS
Waddle waddle
Xp Will get stuck behind the villager work station
Best way to do college assignments, new Wattles video and a snack.
🤝🤝
Yes, farmles is back!
Question: Can dripstone blocks form pointed dripstone? If so, there are some Mason Villagers that sell Dripstone Block. If not, The Wandering Trader does sell Pointed Dripstone. And I see you already have one lava source. All you'd need is a few Cauldrons and a few buckets (Oh wait you have some with fish in them) and your furnaces will be ready to smelt 100 items per bucket of lava. *minor detail of making a lava farm may have been glossed over
it's a one-way process only. You can turn pointed into blocks but not blocks into pointed
@@eonaon6914 yup, gotta just catch the trader every time he offers pointed dripstone, cuz for sure u want lots... or be making nether trips with buckets to bring back lava, which is annoying
You do need a single pointed drip stone to start a farm, but if you place pointed drip stone on stone or drip stone block and a water source above it, it grows more pointed drip stone, although it grows much quicker off of a drip stone block.

Oak planks smelt the same amount of stuff as an oak log, so use them instead 👍
One oak log smelts 1.5 items, one oak plank smelts 1.5 items. Four oak planks smelts 6 items, that’s four times the items of one overworld log.
Never seen a more beautiful trading hall in my life. 10/10. Chef's kiss.
15:23 gosh the smile on the face of the villager 🤪
tip: if you have a lot of wheat to trade, you can press space when you run out of it in a stack and it will automatically refill it. that way you can just keep pressing space and clicking while holding shift to trade much more quickly
WOOHOO! Another Wattles episode! :D
Maybe the name for your villager trading hall could be Emerald Garden? Since you can get unlimited bread from your trading hall now. Lol
Anyways, thanks for the awesome video! I hope you have a nice day! :D
The Squidwards definitely need sleep to be able to work
The emerald prison sounds alright
Hey Wattles just a tip from my own experience, put a hopper underneath the regenerated cobblestone in the cobble gen and it’ll pick up 100% of the blocks you mine
I use a villager autofarm for this. Just build a small farm for the crops with a collection system underneath then trade what the villagers grow back to them. Once you unlock watermelon and pumpkin trades you can make more emeralds
thats really good progress on a flat world
Here is a idea to expand that trading hall. Weapon Smith and tool Smith. Trade level 2 they buy Iron ignots for more profit and in the end game diamond tools and weapons. Also a reason to get the armorers.
Me: OMG wattles is finally gonna get full dia armor and tools and utilise the armorer and tollsmith's iron trade since he has an iron farm!
Wattles: *Coal farm*
New superflat let's goooooooo🎉
I'm so glad to be around from the beginning of this series. I'm having so much fun
There are cows in villages, you can explore until you find two, and they also spawn randomly so explore explore explore until you find them :-). Then you'll have leather and item frames! DOing a good job Wattles I'm liking these videos!
With only 3 beds in the breeder, the home counts as full until the child unlinks in the basement. If you add a 4th bed, there will be a vacancy even when a child was just born so they should breed again that much sooner.
I'm really loving this series.. it has inspired me to try it... just not on hardcore.... yet. Still a rookie!! Thanks for the laughs
i love your videos! each and everyone is so interested and compelling to watch!!
12:34 that’s hilarious lol, I didn’t know they were THAT small!
this is the best trading hall. I don't know how noone has made a trading hall this good in Minecraft history. We should all learn from such a perfect trading hall
You should call your trading hall the Green Machine.
Carrots are awesome for this. My wheat farm villagers struggle a little bit but my carrot farm produces extremely consistently
5:27 I felt that struggle. The same thing happened to me when I was making my trading hall/mall.
Compliments to the trading hall, just want to point out that if you place a trapdoor on the upper part of the block in eye lvl then you can walk through the gap but the villagers can't, and also you can compost all your seeds, So you can put a chest then hopper, then composter, then hopper and lastly a chest.. By the way I highly enjoy your vids XD
This is the best series so far keep it up wattles 😉😉😉👏👏👏👏
Can't wait to see what you do with the rest of that trade hall
zombify the villagers and cure them for extra profit. pretty sure you can get all the mats from villagers, maybe it'll be a bit difficult to do the weakness potion.
archers under a red stone bamboo farm are the best emerald maker (Sticks) cartographers near red stone sugar cane farm (Paper) as well... no planting or harvesting needed
Amazing video 👍👍👍
I would replace the pressure plates on your farm water sources with the mangrove roots. It keeps the land flat and looks cool filled with water
The video I’ve been waiting for
you should give a villager a job using a smithing table, blast furnace or grind stone so on the second tier of trading they'll buy iron which you have an infinite amount of from the iron farm
If you'd bought a pumpkin off of that trader you could have had pumpkin seeds... oh well.
That villager at 11:17 is running for his life 🤣🤣
Hey Wattles, I hadn't really got into villager trading until recently. I found out the Weaponsmith, Toolsmith and Armourer all trade iron ingot, so I put them next to my iron farm. Even more emeralds!! (Not to mention enchanted diamond tools, weapons and armour)
funniest thing to me, in my play-along superflat, is how, my mob farm drip tray has turned into a glow-squid breeder. So I get tons of mobs raining down into the water, and there's always a few glows just playing there, watching while the mobs flow to their deaths.
maybe I'll figure out a spot for lava or magma, so the glows can also join into the flow :/
Fyi you can actually bonemeal moss and moss carpet, it just needs to be on stone (not cobblestone) i did it in my super flat and got some azalea trees :D
MAKE A MEGA TRADING HALL
-Make mob farm.
-trade strings to fisherman
-make wool out of string then trade to shepherd
-trade rotten flesh to cleric
-make iron farm
-trade irons to weaponsmith, toolsmith, armorer
When you have redstone stuff
-make auto sheep farm then trade wools to shepherd
-make pumpkin/melon farm
dude I used to watch and enjoy in relative silence, but ever since the mod that makes the villagers' eyes move I been cracking tf up every time they derp
Wattles, did you know once you trade an item once (per round of trading) if you hit the space bar it refills the same trade! I just found that out, its so much faster than having to shift click the trade back and forth
Hey wattles just so you know you can smelt wood logs to get the charcoal you need
I was thinking the same thing. Much easier than trading and trading and then trading again.
that’s what i was doing at first but i think long term this’ll be easier!!
Did anyone else expect him to pop out an armorer villager?? Gotta get that diamond armor!
wow i have mighty need to compliment you on your trading hallway, gratz
fyi these videos are really great to watch! :)
Librarians are the worst pain to get all the different books at decent prices, but it is one of the first thing I do in every new world
You could have built the track to the back of the areas you wanted the villagers, that way they would path right to the stall you wanted them in and quickly closed it off
Do you see yourself farming lava and using it as a fuel source?
Focus on the Wandering Trader and that might just happen.
You can use the allay to help you gather the crops it super easy all you need is a music and a disc and then put it in the middle build up trap doors 3 high on each side close them and then set up the collection system at the bottom, the allays stay in the area bc they are attracted the music
I really the the trade hall’s design, good job Wattles
I’m thinking P.P. (Pure Profit) Tradehall for the name
trap doors hanging from the top of their stall to fully close and cover their face is the safest
Also is an infinite food cooking option... those amazing campfires
When you're trading with the villagers you can press the space bar to retrade automatically, it's fester this way...
High leveled masons can sell quarts blocks if that's something you're interested in!
In my experience building trade halls and trying to understand the villager AI, you only need to place a bed if the villager is somehow stressed out. Then to calm them you need to feed them and wait some game days, then they hop on to the bed to rest, and after this they trade and restock normally. But if they keep stressed they don't restock the trades no matter what. At least in two cases the guy could not get calm and would not sleep and I eventually give up on them. But I think for the vast majority of villagers you only need to give them access to their workstations and that's it.
Villager trading hall name idea: The Emerald Machine
LFG another day, another Wattles video!
🤝
Beautiful trading hall
Harvest with Fortune (pickaxe for example)
More seeds, more carrots, more potatoes (like 5 instead of 2-3)
More profit
I was going to mention the same thing - I use fortune on my carrots and potatoes and I get way more emeralds than with the wheat. Hope he sees this!
Wattles, wattles, wattles - you need to build the strider house on the survival world a home
You should get a drip stone from a trader and make a lava farm for fuel
A tip to speed things up: use water to quickly harvest crops
So I’ve been watching your videos for a while and I love how all the mobs are animated, what mod do you use? I really want it in my game 😅
Fresh Animations Texture Pack (requires Optifine as well). There should be some easy to follow guides on UA-cam.
when trading a lot of wheat, press spacebar to refill the trade window with a full stack of wheat instead of clicking on the trade, faster profit !
I love ❤️ you video my guy
If you use the charcoal from campfires with logs you can craft another campfire with 1 charcoal, then break it for 2 more charcoal essentially making a infinite charcoal farm if you have logs
awe I miss watching you, I'll watch along this time. I promise.
15:24 The smile💀
You can make a highly efficient mob farm and wont have to worry about lightingnup caves
when building a trading hall, make their booths at least 2 wide, 3 high, and 4 or 5 deep on the interior. this should leave enough room for a bed so villager can sleep too... seems more humane somehow. Use gate or iron door, something the villager or mob can NOT open on their own, on the back side so you can enter the jail cell,,,,i mean studio apartment...when you need too. Starting at the back all on one side, 1 bed, a single or double chest at the foot of the bed, then the villagers workstation whatever it happens to be on the other side of the chest. Leave the other side clear so the villager can walk from the bed and work station.
At the open ended front place fence or wall as normal, then fence or wall facing down from the roof. The gap should still be enough to trade from that side and keep baby zombies out. a Gate in place of one of a wall or fence section on this end is optional.
If you press space bar after a trade it restocks it just as clicking it, it saves me a lot of time
All that's needed now is a fletcher for arrows of weakness and a nether gold farm to get those post zombification discounts. Yes I'm late to the party on this series...
That modpack, though. It looks very vanilla until a villager side-eyes you. I can't handle that. lol
#1 I want to see you make a really cool looking Stone wall around the Village & your lands. to keep out all the mobs. #2 You need to make a large Smelter & #3 make a Auto Bone Meal Composer. You can put all the on used seeds in it. to get Bone Meal.
& When are you going to go get Cow's, Sheep, Pig's, & Chicken's? to have there????
They grow up so fast😄
PLease use your mass amounts of wood and iron to build an auto-composter for all those seeds.
You cloud use all this bonemeal on either the crop farm or on all the other stuff you need bonemeal for
nice!
Villagers renew their trades twice a day when they go to their trade blocks. Sadly they won't renew it more often even if they are next to the block an literally have nowhere else to go. Hope that helps 😊👍
Wattles my friend wattles buy glass from cartographers (I love your Minecraft videos!!)
Yo when your trading if you press spacebar it refills the trade so you don't have to mouse back and forth
You've got an iron farm so you could sell iron to smiths for fat emerald profits, as a side effect level them up and get enchanted diamond gear.
FIRST, I love this series!!!!
You could just create some weaponsmiths, toolsmiths and armorers and trade Iron for emeralds. Much easier
If you want a villager to go into a space, put his bed in it and wait. He goes in, you finish the seal.
That's definetley the Emeralder!
Yoo survival is back
🙌
Really need to drop off the minecarts where you want them to go into the building at.
Add a sign above each villager with their name and what good trades they have.
