In your wool farm I built mine just like yours and hooked it up to a sorter but sometimes instead of the red wool going into the first chest it goes into the over flow chest how can I fix that and maybe u can do a video on that

you cud put a campfire in your creeper farm for autokill. it can downsize it,making it compact
you should add a furnace between the hopper and the chest in the potato farm so they are already cooked when you collect them
You might want to trade raw potatoes to villagers for emeralds?

Great farms. I built my bonemeel farm using an auto kelp farm feeding composters for bonemeal and furances for dried kelp blocks. The output exceeds what the villagers can produce. You didn't mention your kelp farm which is next to the sheep farm.

It would be cool to see an item elevator from under the slime farm up to the platform. Maybe tinted glass colom?
I swear, every time I'm looking something up for Minecraft, you pop up. It's a relief because some people have cring-y voices, other people take ten years to explain something that could take 30 seconds, and then there are other people who say things like, "now place this block there, there, and there." always quickly followed up by, "and then place this block there, there, and there." It can make my ears want to bleed. lmfao. Explain concepts people. Teach me to fish, a man needs more than one fish that tastes bad and smells worse.
Let me tell you I am so grateful whenever your content suits what I'm looking for. You are incredibly easy to listen to and you always seem to inspire some odd kind of optimism in me. I was so excited when I saw GeminiTay use your iron farm design OO I was oh wait that looks like wattles design and then she even credited you. Awesome work dude. I love the slime farm but haven't got around to building it yet
6:33 My villager breeder runs and runs and runs. Turning it off is a solution, but one I consider to be far less civilized. No, my villager breeder is always on -- I simply redirected the villager drop-off location to an arena with a few "Johhny's" in it. A far more elegant solution for a more civilized age.
My favourite new farm is a hoglin farm
You can get to the nether roof pretty quickly to build it, it uses next to no materials and produces more food than you'll ever need.

Putting a trapdoor under the zombie in the iron farm helps to combat the issue of villagers getting scared all the time, preventing them from being able to sleep. There is still somewhat of an issue of the farm breaking during the day though
IRON FARMS SHOULD EVEN EXIST
A better solution than the trap door would be a flower pot.

Big fan of the farmles content
I would love to see a Hardcore Survival game that is 100 days total in each environment (On Land, Underwater,The Nether, and The End). Building up the environment as much as possible during that time (maybe having set goals to achieve in each place).
Basically, once you enter that environment, you have to spend 100 game days there before you can move to the next. A total of 400 game days minimum with no moving back and forth between environments.
Could this work?

Remember to build villager breeder close to build limit so you can move your new villagers around easily.
How is that easier?
@@Hman333 It is easier to drop villagers down than try to move them up. Water flows down hill so your bridges to get the villagers are easy to make and then you just dump a bucket of water and the villager goes to where you want it.

I've buit an automatic wool farm with 32 sheep at around day 1000 in the world I'm currently playing.
Let's just say, I'll have to set up a whole villager trading hall with only shepherds for the sole purpose of getting rid of so much wool.

Hey wattles I love the idea that you you did for the astronomy tower you did awhile ago with the planets and the sun on the sculk. Can I us it for part of the ceiling for my new storage building in my survival world? (The reason I’m asking is cuz I generally don’t like to copy stuff from other people but I would feel clean if I asked permission. ). :) also mud brick/pact mud/rooteddirt/granite/polishedgrainite is really cool as a path my design :) one more thing, I wish you wouldn’t hate on podzol and diorite so much, because they both have there place in building, I mean look at grians hermitcraft base. But all in all, I love your work on UA-cam and I hope you keep making awesome vids for us :D

We need a dirt farm. Like a full automatic one
A moment of silence for the coal ore. With the addition of lava farms, coal has now become obsolete as a viable fuel source. With the inclusion of so many new light sources, coal is slowly becoming absolutely useless. Look what they already did to diamonds, it used to be as good as it gets; now its just a placeholder for netherite.
Did you ever run into the problem where your villagers had too many poisonous potatoes in their inventory? I did a dbl carrot under a dbl potato atuo farm like you had but it stopped working after so long. Still tons of carrots but the potatoes just stopped coming one day and I couldn't fix it other than breeding and a whole rework of the upper system. I just banned potatoes like you did cows. Carrots for some reason are always my favorite, beetroot is the redheaded step-child, and potatoes are the one with potential who just didn't live up.
It would be an interesting challenge to not use any kind of crop in a survival world. Not difficult, but interestingly challenging.
I wonder if wattles will make his beat root farm bigger 🤔

@@wattlesplays 200 by 200 is 40000 which is a lot, but if u make it 317 by 317 u will get over 100000 beats, and if u do an episode where u harvest over 100000! Beats u will be the only person in not only minecradt but the whole world who has planted and harvested 100000! BEATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some of my higher in the sky farms seemed to stop working after 1.19.51...bugs? New mechanics? Just me? You mentioned the iron farm not being always loaded in, but maybe I'm not the only one experiencing too high farms production levels dropping?
An automatic redstone activated crafting table would be cool.
Need to add Endermen Farm (Super fast XP), and Shulker Farm (for the shells).

I have a similar issue in my survival world iron farm (it's too far from my base). I'm curious if a nether portal chunk loader (like docm77 made when he tamed the ender dragon) would help the rates. Thoughts?
if youre on java just build a ice boat track on the nether bedrock roof. you can get a lot of blue ice straighht from ice biomes, and snowy hills biomes have huge packed ice chunks

How do you get the blaze and hoglin heads
If you built an iron farm at spawn and have Optifine, turn off "smooth world." Even on my not-expensive, but not-cheap computer, it runs just fine, and it worked so well I put a sticky piston on the block below the zombie to move it up or down to turn it on or off.

Make a ghast farm. It's way more effective than a creeper farm
I've noticed a potential problem with your iron farm, the villagers have to break line of sight in order to reset golem spawning. If the stay constantly panicked they won't spawn golem as often.
i was wondering about this, in my game (i'm on java) they still go to sleep for like a tenth of a second and immediately wake back up and start panicking again. hilarious. and the farm keeps working
So the fact that they are lying in the bed means they are successfully breaking eye contact. If villagers refuse to lay down at night for an iron farm, it means they can't break eye contact. And the break doesn't have to be for very long either. If you make the zombie bob up and down either by making them think they have a path be jumping or by putting them in a boat on a bubble column will give them a bob which will break eye contact. The other method is when the villager run when they panic. If they can run into a spot where eye contact breaks, this will make it work flawlessly. This is best done with a single block obstruction and 3 villagers in a 1x3 panic room, then there will only ever be enough space for 1 villager, maybe 2, to hide behind the 1 block where inevitably the 3rd one will bump them out of cover. Another note is to make sure they can see the zombie from their beds this make them immediately panic when they lay down.

I know this is evil of me to say but there is a cow crusher farm in this world. In fact, there are six of them! They exist inside the demon cow sphynx. They got made when the need for a lot of leather quickly popped up.

i have a city where each farm is inside a different Sky Scraper and i have 60 villagers and renamed any roaming Iron Golems into Police

So my brother created a Realm a few years back. We played it for a while, and no one got one for a while and he let it expire.
We just started it back up a few weeks ago. Does that update it automatically?
I haven't seen Bees, those big rifts/caves, etc, none of the new stuff.
Is it because we traveled to most areas near us back before those updates? Do we have to enter a brand new biome we've never been to before? Or do we need to start over on a brand new server?
