I've been extremely busy shipping out my Celtic album to everyone that kindly bought a copy - it's just me doing the mailing, so it's going a lot slower than I would like! I won't have much time for music until it's all done, but I managed to get out this little cover. I've been working on it off and on ever since the movie came out in my town :D
My husband shot the video, and I had to drag him out to the beach for two sweltering 90° F days to get it done. heh. :3 I made the dress!

Dria Haddock Same. I want it! I love Celtic style outfits and Renaissance (forgive spelling) style outfits. I’m the kind of person who’s weird enough to wear certain types as everyday clothes. Like her dress is one I’d wear as an everyday type of dress. I have Celtic ancestry which is probably why Celtic stuff has always fascinated me.
Flare FrostFire I think the "celtic idea" that we have today, is based on desires and a lot of feelings towards nature. not only the nature around us, but also the nature in us humans... Well... after caesar and the romans uprooted the celts in europe and the roman catholic church literally eradicated the "pagans", the western civilizations lost a big part of its "nature relatedness".
Sadly not much has survived of the "celtish way of life". We can't even say what exactly that is. But you can find a lot of that "paganness" in european fairy tales. These tales show a lot of the spirited thinking, that was able to coexist to the catholic thinking. :)
Anyway... as I read somewhere: celtic is what we make out of it. I think, if we humans follow our true feelings towards nature in and around us and try to not let our inside be killed by the modern way of life, we still can experience something of that beautiful "celtic stuff" :)
I dont really believe in genetic transfer of these kind of things.. i think, if a black man is born and raised in celtic europe 2500 years ago, the only difference to others would probably be his skin colour. :) but maybe I am all wrong...

I don't know your situation. But depending on what life already told you, you need to make the realization, that you are a beautyful, interesting person and totally worth of being loved. So only a person, which can see your qualities can also be worth of your love.
Some get a partner before this realization, but as I observe such relationships, they are often simply two persons afraid of being alone. True love begins with with love and acceptance to yourself. Then you'll know, that you will find your girlfriend without a doubt ;-) At this point it only takes time, but you already feel better ;-)
And yes, you are a beautifull, interesting person + very romantic, if this is how you want to propose to your loved one ;-) And I know at least, that you are worth of being loved, because you are as much human as myself. We are all brothers and sisters in our hearts.

It's just so absolutely incredible to me. She put so much thought into everything, over exaggerating all of the playing and singing to be able to match it up perfectly in the video.... She even did all the little accompanimental vocals when she could have gotten away without. Everything she does is always so perfectly executed. It just, to me, is the most amazing thing! 😮

I know I'm super late and you might already know, but she developed uncontrollable tremors in her chest muscles, affecting her chest voice which she had used to sing. She recently released a new song and it does sound different as she has had to retrain herself to sing using her head voice.

That ocarina should be just fine, I have one from STL too! :D It's just like the one you linked, only it's made of purple clay. Ocarina takes a little getting used to - the intonation can be all over the place unless you learn to control it well, but it is super pretty!
