Ridstar Q20
Can you switch the back brake lever to the left hand on the rid star
yes if careful and you won't have to re-bleed
I hope the Ridstar (tranlates to riding star in dutch) Q8 15AH is ok. @BRICH said to stay away from the 13AH. If anyone knows please tell me im buying in a few days and cant afford to get a pos. Thank you.
I received comments that the 13Ah version has different or smaller screen and maybe different controller which puts out lower amps
@BRichSolution I really hope it has a good controller. I'm not afraid to do some work but I hope to start off with a good bike & am not afraid to do some work. I hope it's OK. Thank you @BRICHSOLUTION. This man knows his stuff & has been a great help. I wish Shooters was still open in Ft. LAUDERDALE. I'd like to thank you & bring you out for a drink next time I'm down in Ft. Lauderdale. @BRich ever been to Briney's pub? I used to go to Pompano/Lauderdale every year & that's where I'd go a lot. Thank you for all your help.
What is the name from the handbag or something on the ouxi v8 at the saddle?
Rhinobag here is a link amzn.to/3qaf2JG
I was thinking about getting the ridstar for a good deal of $650 is it worth it?
Don’t buy the cheaper version with 15ah battery as it has small screen and mechanical brakes… spend the extra $100 for 20ah version with hydraulic brakes amzn.to/42okSGd
What are the seat heights for these bikes as well as wheelbases? Thank you
Seat heights are discussed video. 33” for 2 and 32” for Engwe M20
What about the wheelbases?
Ouxi v8 do you have an ignition key? or some way to prevent my bike from being stolen.
No ignition key on ouxi except for the battery locks to the frame. You can buy a ebike lock like this: amzn.to/3JGFuBm
Is there any way to add foot pegs on the ouxi? I own one but don’t know where to find and how
Pegs like this should bolt on to rear axial. amzn.to/44gUQo1
Are there any 250watt fatbikes i can purchase for eu netherlands legal use? I lie the ouxi v8 or v8 h9 (v9)
250W is low… you can restrict controller output to 250w
@@BRichSolution no but the thing is that in the netherlands an motor more than 250watts is illegal
Good video. It's a shame non of them are legal in the UK and Europe! Thanks politicians!!!
Sorry to hear that
Thanks Mann
Ok
Yeah the Ridstar for me it's great how I ride on the street, you asking how I ride hard , but the battery won't last that long 6 miles you see the battery drop fast but the speed is still good with the low battery life .. I got top 39 to 40 mph on it but I played with the display that's how I got it up to 39 top 40 when the battery was fully charged
where did you get the leather case? the one with the ouxi v8
Rhinowalk Bike Bag: amzn.to/3HKLF6n
Ridstart on sale $405 Amazon, just ordered,,, cant wait :)
Wow $405 is great deal. Let me know if its the 15Ah battery and what changes made to lower price point
Its an original?
Are all three foldable?
no folding, folding ebikes are heavy and battery connections wear out and awkward to fold
Hey Rich, i got a c91 due to your videos. How do i make it as fast as possible. There is some kind of restriction. Its not going faster than 45 km/h.
Upgrade the controller to output 25A
@@BRichSolution you have a link for that?
:)
Which ridstar has a 32 in seat height??? The ridstars i see have 36 in seat heights??? Please link for urs
Q20 has 32” seat but make sure to buy 20ah version amzn.to/4cuQzld
@@BRichSolution r u sure bc im pretty short but my normal bike has a 31 inch seat so its not a big diff 32 but on amazon when i go to the ridstar one its says seat height is 36 so i just want to make sure
Which has best range
Ridstar with 20Ah battery
Hey rich i tested my speed on a traffic sign it tests ur speed when i was going full speed it only said 40 kmph when it supposed to go 50 km but my tires pressure were a little low do u think that was the issue that it was going slower than usual
Low Tire pressure will slow you down and the you need long flat straight away to get to 45km/h when the battery voltage level out after acceleration it will slow climb from 40km/h to 45 or 59 depending on bike. Use gps app to confirm
@@BRichSolution oh okay thanks
can you tell me where you got the attachable bike bags for these ebikes
Ouxi v8 bike bag linked here
amzn.to/3D0YV4A
The other bikes came with the cargo bag
@@BRichSolution thanks, much appreciated!
What speed dit you go for the range test on the ouxi v8
Highest PAS and max speed throttle only got 25 miles of range on the ouxi v8 on flat ground
Where did you bought that bag for the ouxi v8?
Cargo Bag: amzn.to/3HKLF6n
@@BRichSolution you send the supsension, i mean the cargo bag where you can put stuff in!
Thanks
How can you change the speed from the q20 in kmh?
See video for settings on the Ridstar
ua-cam.com/video/pnaEkvOyHwE/v-deo.html
Throttle ? How many speeds ?
All have 5 different pedal assist modes and throttle speeds
thinking about getting the ridstar q20 is it able to go in dirt trails
Make sure to buy the version with 20Ah battery. Do not buy 15 ah version as the saving is not worth it as comes with smaller battery, cheaper brakes and smaller screen
@@BRichSolution thanks
Where can you get the 1000w Ouxi v8?
Aliexpress see link s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DBfLEyp
I was looking at the q20, can anyone tell me are they good to pedal and are they comfortable to ride. Im 6ft.
It has a comfortable seat and you will be able to pedal if your 6’ tall.
Bro the ridstar is prob the best one and on top of that it has a usb pmug, you can charge youre phone bro
I agree; Ridstar Q20 with 20Ah is fastest too. Warning do not buy the 15Ah Q20 it's not worth the $100 savings
What do you recommend me one of these to buy in Iraq roads ( bad roads ) also i’m not good in riding bicycle is it possible i can ride it depending on electric power 😂
The ridstar has full suspension and comfortable seat
@@BRichSolution unfortunately i didn’t find ridstar in Europe to ship it from there , only engwe in Europe :(
Do they have rear racks?
The ouxi v8 you can buy with rear cargo rack
ENGWE M20 is 1,300 why does your video say under 1,000 ?
When I bought it a few months ago it was $970. I have seen it on sale recently for $1050
I seen it for 849
It's currently 799 on Amazon
@@MrVivaLAcannabis yes did you check the date of my reply?
Dual 🔋 that’s only one battery 🔋
Anyone know can you just pop the wires out and then just switch them over to the other side on the hydraulic brakes
swapping brake lever hoses see video ua-cam.com/video/TxHBQeqBH78/v-deo.htmlsi=csy1e9y19d2JD0Uo
@@BRichSolutionhey I’m 5”7” , is the ridstar q20 a nice fit for me?
Ridstar q20 or ouxi v8
Ridstar q20 with 20ah is faster a d bigger battery. Don’t buy 15ah version of Q20 as too many features cut
On the ridestar,, is that thin axle they give you safe cuz I seen the unboxing and it's thin not like a regular one more like a spoke ???
Its safe, the load is carried thru the outer bore not the small rod. Make sure to buy 20Ah version not the cheaper 15Ah its not worth the money
How do you unlock the top speed on the ouxi v8
See settings segment in the assembly video ua-cam.com/video/hHi8wtKp-9g/v-deo.htmlsi=mOCzHb67V_ZPGsu4

Is there a way I can make the Ridstar a little faster
Do you have 15ah or 20ah version? If you have the 20ah version 31 mph is respectably fast as $5000 super73 only does 32
52V battery
@@BRichSolution thank you gonna order that now you are the best
@@BRichSolution the 20ah version
Can u take off the fenders
Yes
Le m20 fait pluss moto crosse guidon de bmx il a plus de charme que les deux autres le M20 ET LE SUPER 73 RX SONT POUR MOI LES DEUX BEAU MODELE DU EBIKE😎
Yes M20 is beautiful design. I wish the seat was more comfortable
Il parle beaucoup du siege il Donne mal au fessier?
Q20 is better on speed and range and there is a 1500w and q20 pro in 2000w 52v 40ah
Q20 1500W with 20Ah is best value. Don’t waste money with 15Ah battery version as the $100 savings is not worth it with smaller battery, smaller screen and cheaper brakes. The dual battery version is nice with 52V batteries but price is too high
Only buy the 2000w version if you live where it is very hilly and you must have dual motors. Its expensive too and heavy. Range isn’t much more than 1500w version witch is better value
Doing a compare video AFTER making upgrades is misleading. Even if you mention the upgrades, what they're seeing is not an acurate comparison or depiction of how the bike arrives.
Good point. The ridstar q20 has no upgrades nor does it need it like the other bikes
@@BRichSolution Confused, you have other videos adding shocks, battery, ect. to the Ridastar Q20. Why if not needed?
12403 Adalberto Orchard
Ok
Ouxi v20 would have been a much better comparison
V20 is better but the Ouxi v8 but both have terrible under sized mechanical brakes. You can upgrade the brakes for $35 like I did see video. ua-cam.com/video/jx17qqYm5EE/v-deo.html
@@BRichSolutionim pretty sure they put a 250w motor in the v20. It has a nicer screen but imo the v8 is better because the motor is more powerful and just looks better
3:10 What's the ebike name?
Ouxi v8 with cargo rack see link on Amazon to buy amzn.to/3QLISyg
@@BRichSolution yes, but it look like one batter. I mean you show that picture, the double battery bike. Thanks your reply.
if you make a video titled which is best but never say which is best... whats the point?
Depends on your need… if your short the Engwe M20
If you want a cargo rack for delivery then Ouxi and if you want comfort and speed then Ridstar Q20
Kaç lira₺?
$750
Can you slide me one??
Sold them all but on FB marketplace
I thought the seat height was 36
Engwe seat height is lowest at 26” and Ridstar & Ouxi is 30”
It the ride star for 550 dollars on Amazon is it good and reliable?
Spend the extra $100 for $650 version Ridstar Q20. The cheaper version for $550 mechanical brakes & smaller battery. Get the Q20 with 20Ah battery and hydraulic brakes its more than worth the $100. amzn.to/48faGRt
