Both Ouxi v8 and ridstar Q20 have the same seat that can fit 2 smaller riders. I would not want to have 2 riders for more than 1-3 miles but it is doable. The ouxi with upgraded brakes is on par with Q20 stopping but i would buy the Q20 over ouxi with bigger battery and more powerful motor for about the same price. amzn.to/43FkPV7

I wouldn’t pressure wash any ebike as the high pressure water could force its way into electric components like the screen, motor housing or throttle

Its safe, the load is carried thru the outer bore not the small rod. Make sure to buy 20Ah version not the cheaper 15Ah its not worth the money
I have a dual battery Engwe M20. I cannot say how it stacks up to those other bikes but it is a fun bike.
Two issues with Engwe the brakes are not good and seat being short allows for little adjustment if you have to pedal
Engwe dual battery is nice but for $1500 you can buy dual battery Yolin which is faster, lighter (aluminum frame) and lots more range

@@BRichSolution I know bigger batteries and more watts is always better, but all things being EQUAL, two Ridstars, ones a Folding MG01 bike and the other Q20. Is pedalling the folding bike much easier or better than the Q20 for exercise? Also folding bikes have adjustable seat easily swapped vs. a fixed moto seat. However I'm worried the folding bikes arent as solid and STABLE at speed (from test riding a folder bike) as the moto style, but want to pedal a bike for exercise, so kinda looking for Dual purpose exercise/cruiser bike, but still want it to be Safe and Solid. 25-28 mph is fine for me. i'v been googling for months on these cheap fatbikess but the motor power, controller, amperage, suspension or not, hydraulic disc or not all depends on the seller. i'v seen the voltsteed H9 with full suspension/hydro brakes for €949 on sale from a shop in eu. was sold out in days. i really wish the more practical fat tire cargo bikes could go this route they are still upwards of €1700 for something with a front and rear rack.

You can get it cheaper but then from China, takes two months.

Correct, only battery locks on frame. The Engwe m20 is the same. You have to have power on the screen to use the bike
Thinking strong about the ridstar bike. However throttles are illegal here in Ireland. Can this be removed from the bike? And just use PAS 5 to get around easily..

Does the Ridstar have a half twist throttle? The throttle always seems to be different on these bikes. What is your thoughts on the throttle for the Ridstar?
The ridestar Q20 with 20Ah battery has nice 1/2 twist throttle. I have heard in the comments the cheaper version with 13ah has different throttle and screens.

Yeah the Ridstar for me it's great how I ride on the street, you asking how I ride hard , but the battery won't last that long 6 miles you see the battery drop fast but the speed is still good with the low battery life .. I got top 39 to 40 mph on it but I played with the display that's how I got it up to 39 top 40 when the battery was fully charged

IMO the happyrun ebike is below all these bikes. Its slow and not fun

This is super cool! I'm playing with the idea of the Engwe M20. As I live in the EU, I would be getting the capped version with 250W and max 25 km/h (Regulations…). I do wonder though if the EU version is the same as the US version and just software locked or if it actually has a different motor. Ie. if I were to ever move countries or regulations were to change, I could unlock it to it's full power… Any idea? Also do you know why people seem to critisize Engwe as a business?
Engwe is reputable brand. Not sure about computer caps performance at 250W; but sounds plausible

I just ordered this bike for $989 on Amazon. I also bought an EUY S4 for $1400 (25ah battery). I need 3 bikes total, for 3 adults, and need them to have similar range and terrain capabilities. We will moslty be off road on level to slightly hilly trails and sand, gravel.

Yes, yolin ebike can’t be beat for less that $1500. Dual 22ah batteries. Get it with 52v batteries and xiongda motor (bafang motor is slower)

When you change the bike can you leave it overnight, because some bikes batteries fry when you do that.

Maybe it's just the camera angle, but the Engwe looks bigger than the other two.
Engwe is longer and handle bars are tall. Its not much bigger than Ridstar Q20. The Ouxi v8 is compact with short wheelbase

Not sure how old this video is but my ouxi v8 is different from the one they have on here. Mine is just like the ridstar. I mean they are the exact same bike really. My screen is in the center and it's the big screen. Mine also goes 31.2mph. The breaks are a little soft like he said so don't follow anyone to close but besides that really they are the same bike. I have the 750w with 1000w peak and it gets me from 0-31.2 in quiet a hurry. If I were a buyer now, I would go with which ever one has the lower price.

There us also a few ways to make the seat larger. Takes some work , but it's worth it. Lots of youtube videos on the way if you search them up! Happy hunting

Doing a compare video AFTER making upgrades is misleading. Even if you mention the upgrades, what they're seeing is not an acurate comparison or depiction of how the bike arrives.

I wish i cloud speak to the engwe, but i still cant ride mine. I received my M20 last Friday with a dented fender and a defect in the front fork that makes the bike unrideable! I contacted the company via the service email and had to wait until Monday for a response.
Their response is to make me repair it myself and wait 15-25 business days for the parts!!!
Awful company to deal with. They make you think they have great service and an hq in the US but they have no such thing. Clearly they spend their money on marketing instead of customer service.

Sorry to hear you had bad experience. I would remove the fender and ride without until replacement can arrive. As for the front fork can you lock it out or mend it? If it makes you feel any better I had similar service with my $2000 sondors and friends super 73
@BRichSolution completely agree on the fender. Stuff happens, and I honestly think it would look cool without it.
The fork is a different matter. The arch is welded crooked, making one side of the fork an inch longer at the dropout. You can't fully attach the front wheel, let alone get it into the brake caliper. It should never have left their factory like that.
What's worse is there is zero customer service in the US even though they imply there is. And hidden in their terms is that you can't even return the bike for a defect unless you pay them $100!! No joke!

If you don't believe me, try calling their customer service, which is the 844 number listed on their website (youtube won't let me post it). You most certainly will not get any answer, much like myself, who called 53 times to get answered one time and told I needed to email.
Additionally, if you go to their shipping page, it states in the fine print that they will charge you $100 to return defective equipment. Of course the hallmark of a great company.
As for me, I am still waiting as the company only sent me a front fender and not the front fork.

What is the point of owning an e-bike? These things and insane magnets for thieves.. and with all these crappy channels helping theives get past the most expensive locks if a thief wants your bike, unless you keep it indoors no matter where you go, they will get it..

There are lots of reasons to own an ebike fast long range excellent for people with disabilities helps get cars off the road great fun cool as balls to ride yes it could get stolen but so can everthing else can't let what might happen put you off getting an ebike and cheap running costs and there is a great ebike community all over the world I always say people that don't like ebikes have probably never been on an ebike trust me mate thay are so much fun 🚵⚡✌

I can't be happy with my Chinese electric bike as well, first range, this batteries are very weak,15 miles on the 15ah battery,10 miles on 10ah battery, this is scandalous!, colour my choice yes, but I order blue 🔵 not purple 🟣! LCD displays battery parameters, not showing, how I can know if this is 15ah or 10ah battery or it's healthy if I can't see this on mine display!I bought this bike for work, know what I need to buy 2 more batteries to use all day.This is rubbish!!!!
