I bought this bike two weeks ago, hardest part is to get it out of a box, easy to put together. I do 31 miles an hour even on a gentle, uphill, it’s awesome, love it.

i'll tell u rn its pretty hard to pedal a 80lb fat tire ebike when its dead. especially since this bike doesnt have adjustable seat, that height sucks to pedal.

I just wanna say I am most likely going to buy this because of your video. I was thinking about getting a car to use for commuting to work but how real you are about everything I definitely think this is an option for me.

Does not look like an electric bike at all and it has pedal assist as well
The battery is hidden in the bike and you can get a back up battery for extra mileage that sits in the bottle holder and looks like a sports bottle
It's a very smooth ride and worth it I think.
Mine came Wednesday, I had already bought new red pedals for it and I painted that pegboard thing red I got some really cool looking red brake arm covers a couple of red decals for the forks and the battery I scrape that ridstar off, also bought a stem extender which raised the bar about 5 1/2 in. Which is very awesome I hated to be hunched over so far I should just buy some big BMX bars we'll see, it's been raining here pretty much all week I haven't been able to ride it but I got a window of about an hour yesterday, took a ride and got caught in a massive storm coming home I was really worried about the water but seem to be completely fine, I topped out at 31 mph and that was into the wind, everything here at the beach is flat so I don't get many Hills, I did about 13 miles, I'm taking it out now to drain the battery and tomorrow I'm going to go all day see what I get on one charge, very long post I apologize but anybody thinking about getting this bike it is absolutely beautiful and fun and if you add some stickers or extra color components to it it's even cooler, I'm not a big fan of red but I figured with the red brake pads I would go red and black and it really looks awesome, I would suggest this bike to anybody looking for a cool little motorcycle type it's really comfortable also. and I'm 6 ft , 240 lbs, got 100 off on Amazon paid 1040 total, slime, or flat out ur tires, give u that xtra protection
How did you scrape the name off the battery?
@@ampedcycle it was on really crooked anyway, so I took one of my big pocket knives and just scraped it gently and then took a scouring pad and cleaned it up good and I put a couple big fire looking stickers on the other side to match my Forks stickers actually looks very cool

@@ampedcycle I think just putting a sticker over it would be fine (or even a bit of black or coloured electrical tape). Same with sticker something on the white perforated panels. Scraping and/or spray painting seems way too much effort.
I've had my Q20 for about 2 months now. Couple things to consider, the speedometer is off by about 2 mph. The manufacturer has no consistency of the motors that they use, I took a motor part number survey in a different UA-cam comment section and not a single two had the same part number. Some people can reach 30 miles per hour, while others can only go 26 mph, 20ah version. I recommend everybody with one of these to use GPS to confirm the actual real speed you're going. Originally mine stopped at 28, but was actually 26 mph when verified with the MPH GPS app. The manufacturer sent me a different motor and speed controller, now mine will do 30 mph, but does feel like it lost a little bit of torque.
Change your wheelsize from 24 to 22. That should fix it 👍
@@alveend8551I've already played with a tire size for getting a speedometer more accurate. But it won't help the original motor to have enough power to reach it's advertised 30 mph.

@@brianpacheco1927I've had a total of two motors, neither one of them had a brand name on it. I also took a survey of part numbers in a different UA-cam video, and nobody had the same part number. It appears they just throw in whatever motor is available at the time.

The price of a lot of these bikes are good until you have to pay up to $300 for shipping.
the price of shipping reflects the price of the bike. with shipping your looking at under $1000 for a 35 mph bike. good luck finding a better price for a bike like this

Pedals are for legal reasons. Most states dont require registration if it has pedals. Some states also require 20mph which is why there are selectable modes.

I just bought mine yesterday for $899. That includes the shipping and taxes. Mine is only a 15AH battery. Max speed is supposed to be 25mph. I get it in a week

I've been watching different videos for the Q20 for over A month now and this video was one of the videos that Help me decide to get one I. Purchase the 1500 W 20 app battery Q20. That has the tan seat with mag wheels And tan sidewalls tires Which i will be receiving it in a matter of days. Can't wait to try it out. I. Also went ahead and purchase A rear shock for it from another Q20 video.

I've also seen it from a 'major' local online company for $900, so it pays to shop around online. (I'm assuming that what I ordered actually turns up -- but as I paid via Paypal I can always reverse the charge if it doesn't arrive or is defective/incorrect model).
I just bought the Ridstar H20 which has the same 1000watt (actually I got the 1200 watt version) motor and 20 inch wheels but has a folding bike frame since I need a folding bike to fit in the back of my Sprinter van. I’m hoping it has similar performance to the Q20. It would be cool if you could do a review and comparison of the two.

The back brake is on the right side you need to take it off and put it on the left side so you can practice wheelies if you want all the e-bikes come like that, I have to do is take the wire out and switch them over guys
Looks like something you can find in PUBG. Also it's good in a zombie apocalypse when you're trying to make a emergency get away. Except rare places to charge a battery in a zombie apocalypse so probably a 1 time use thing.
The pedals are for if your battery runs out and your not close to a charger or your home you can pedal instead pushing it to your house
I was set on buying the Q20 but started reading reviews from people who got slower versions. You just dont know what combination of motor and speed control your getting. In the end I found a used ariel rider on craigs list and couldnt be happier.

I got the riding times z8 it looks similar to this one and I put on about 2000 miles and no issues other than new brake pads and rotors and regular maintenance

I have the exact same one. bought in the Netherlands where I also live. mine goes exactly 50 km/h. The battery lasts 40 kilometers on setting 5. Only here in the Netherlands they are strict about checking. if there is a throttle on it and you are stopped by the police. you will receive a fine of around 400 euros. and you are not allowed to drive it any further. If you are stopped again and nothing has changed, the entire vehicle will be confiscated.

Yeah, because we actually have proper bicycling infrastructure, so some nobhead blazing past loads of normal bicycles on a fatbike is generally considered... annoying, to say the least.
They've basically replaced the moped/scooter category here, except you don't need a license, so now we've got 12 year olds going 50km/h while looking at their phones.

I know what you're doing but it's actually the smaller diameter is what you need because of the smaller diameter is turning that fast I mean the outer diameter is turning faster that means you need a smaller diameter inside your computer like 16 in or 12 but you get my point

I've got it with a total other display. Anyhow, I've topped it off on 25km per hour in the city. Because we get fines of 190 euro's for having the settings above and 290 euro fines for the gas throttle. Does anyone know how to lock and unlock the settings?

Tires are easy to find as well as inner tubes. Brakes are simple to replace pads and rotors. Any bike shop will be able to help you out.

You can lock the battery. Personally I would bring it in with me if I was leaving it outside for long

I bought mine a few months ago. It's awesome. But getting an extra battery isn't easy.
They sell batteries that you can add on. They plug right into the stock controller. B rich solution has a good video on that.

Why is shipping so high if it’s already in the US?
Well I originally thought they charged so much because they wanted to make a bit of extra margin, But I looked on fedex’s shipping calculator (FedEx has delivered every one of my bikes so far) and to ship from California to Chicago, the cheapest ground shipping is $237. These bikes usually weigh over 100lbs in the box and are a pain in the ass to move around. So for a heavy package, 2-300 dollars for shipping isn’t bad.
