As a white woman from Australia with ringlet kind of hair, it’s been a saviour to watch black womens hair channels. I’ve never found a hairdresser who knows what to do with my hair or given any good advice for how to care for my hair. I shaved it all off last year to start again and I use a lot of methods from this channel and others for curly hair and it works!!!!!! Thank you so much
I wore my hair in locks my hair grew down to my butt, my hair was healthy, when I cut my locks off my hair was never the same. I started weaving, now my hair is falling out due to aging what can I do. Bernice New York City.
Why you white women always concerned about blk women hair .it's always a "I'm a white woman but.." comment. Blk women are not sitting around watching white hair care videos.
My dad made an appointment to get my hair done because my mother fainted in the midst of doing my hair. I remembered being at the salon early in the morning and I was the last one to leave the salon. She didn’t do a good job on my hair. I went home and told my father I would NEVER go to that woman again. Another neighborhood stylist, Mrs Brett, took care of my hair until I graduated from high school. You are correct a lot of stylist do not want to work with long hair which is crazy to me. She is lucky to have found you. You are a great stylist.
What beautiful hair she has!! I am a 62 year old woman who recently found your channel and I adore your content. It is so fascinating all the things you have to do with hair. I'm binge watching everyday. Love it and love you and all your clients. Simply fascinating. So glad I found you. ❤️
It is rare that I will actually watch a stylist through the entire process of styling a clients hair but it has been a joy watching a sister that takes pride in her craft and is very gentle and knowledgeable. I will look forward to continuing to watch you in the future 👋👋😍🤓❤. Best Wishes Michelle
Brilliant haircare videos and "female" tips! I'm still sporting my long natural hair that has now become silver grey and the wavy curl that drives me crazy to try to tame. I also remember being "charged" extra for having long hair when I got it done...so refreshing to see someone with the gift of patience and knowledge and good-spirits to take the time show everyone you're true love of hair! God Bless your Hands!
I do love watching and hearing her natural enthusiastic love of hair styling and haircare. She explains every step and what exactly the products she uses does for the hair. Wonderful results at the end..
2 hrs is a good amount of time that you did with her hair consider how long it is. Crystal you are very wise, patience, mentor to others, kind, knowledgeable, and always have great customer service. Kudos to you for being so patient with all your clients. Her hair looks more healthy and amazing.
I love the way the beautician interacts with the client. The trim was AWESOME! So many beauticians like to do a chop rather than a trim 🤔. Amazing work done on a BEAUTIFUL BLACK QUEEN! 👸🏽
I love long hair! It's a whole lifestyle! Mine is down to my butt, and only I have been cutting it and coloring it since 2007, since I've had too many bad experiences at salons regarding having long hair. So glad you love to work with it, and your client's hair is amazingly beautiful ❤️❤️❤️
I love that you don't overbook and shuffle your clients like an assembly line. My stylist does it all the time and my hair is not long at all but I have to reserve at least 4 hours when I go to her. It is so frustrating and makes me do my hair a lot at home. But I have been using your products for about 3 months now and with the help of your videos I don't go into her often anymore.
Wow this lady hairdresser is amazing at what she does. She takes her time and does it properly, takes pride in her work. Well done that lady's hair is beautiful good job 👏
It's really nice to see a professional who takes their time with their clients. As a white woman with white, frizzy/curly hair I continously battle to find someone who will take time on my hair. I'm often subjected to a quick two minute wash/conditon, followed by a slap dash cut/trim, and by the time I get home I can see my hair has been cut unevenly in the front. However, thanks to this channel, I'm learning how I can create my own shampoo/conditioner mixtures for grey hair. Just need to know how I can cut/trim my hair at home now. Crystal???

Oh, and thanks for using the wide-toothed comb and starting from the ends when you comb & also sectioning the hair, for her type of thick, long hair. It's the only type comb I use, as well in sections. I can't understand for the life of me why some beauticians love using a fine tooth comb on this type of hair, which is very damaging. I also love your soothing voice and proper enunciation! Bravo!
You are a wonderful professional, who knows what you're doing. Thank you. My hair is long and a similar grade to your client's. I rarely went to the hairdresser all my life because they would always chop it off. I finally went with locks, which is so much easier, and now have a good hairdresser that I trust. Sweetie, I think your client was going to sleep! LOL! The way you were parting and gently scraping her scalp put her in comfy mode. It is soooo relaxing to have your stylist working your scalp. That right there and being at the shampoo bowl is what I look forward to for my salon visits. You are such a pro at what you do!
I love how when you section her hair to straighten, you do it in sections individual to her head rather than a typical thin horizontal row after row that some stylists use on everyones head regardless. With your thicker, diagonal sectioning you’re getting the spots on and around her head that someone else might miss, or on conversely, might fry because they’ve ironed over too many times. Really beautiful job with the diagonal parting & larger sectioning. Really cool to see. Thanks for sharing.
Your client has lovely hair and you handled it well from beginning to end. Thank you Crystal for sharing how it is done. Happy birthday to your client!
Absolutely mesmerising. As an ex hairdresser it fascinates me to watch professionals execute their craft. What Beautiful hair, it shone like glass xx 💕
Such beautiful hair. This was so informative and satisfying to watch. We stan a hair stylist who understands, takes care of and teaches us how to look after our hair. 🙌🏽
Yassss!!!💖💯 Service worth paying for I never got any treatment like this at any salon I love seeing salons treat clients treated like this and she has beautiful amazing long beautiful hair💖 and I also love seeing a hair stylist that knows her stuff when it comes to natural hair
As a white woman with dark wavy hair, I am amazed at the quantity and quality of techniques black women use for their hairdo. The lady in this video has a precious hair; and the huge amount of products and their correct use makes you not only an artist, but also a hair-doctor.
I can't believe how long this woman's hair is. It is so beautiful and thick and healthy. So refreshing to see a black woman with naturally long healthy hair and not a weave or wig.
There's a plethora of blk women with long hair , it's just under a wig or weave as a protective style. Hair rubbing against your clothes can cause breakage and we don't like to manipulate our hair too often to prevent breakage and retain length. We weren't taught to take care of our hair properly growing up hence the natural hair wave. We know now.
Wow Darlene this means you don't know much about Black women! She is not the only one with long healthy hair that is not weave or wigs and many are on youtube and all the other social media platforms. 😑
Hey Crystal you are an amazing stylist. You are so gentle with the clients hair, taking your time. It was a pleasure watching you do your thing girl. Keep up the good work
Oh my goodness!!! Siz, I'm hypnotized with your hair!!! Also, this hair artist got me thinking! Since I stopped doing my own hair/poos, my hair actually started growing! The best hair salon yet, has been Mischelle's salon bar in rockhill SC.., BUT this was an all inclusive art! Thank you for reminding me that I should leave some things to the pros! 🤩😍 Omg, the transformation was real!💯❤
That is so beautiful an so gorgeous her hair is nice, looking healthy so many woman like my self wishing we only have.half of her hair an to the hairstyles you did a great job keep up the good works.👍
Beautiful hair great stylist. Happy Birthday. No one in their right mind could give you a thumbs down. Bravo 👏🏾 You are also calm and kind and patient. It is a pleasure to watch someone like you enjoy 😊 doing your craft, thank you.
I am so jealous of this beautiful hair!!! Absolutely beautiful; before, during and after!!! Wow!!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 You do amazing work! You definitely love what you do and it blesses your clients!!!
You really made her hair gleam. Its beautiful , and you are so great to watch & learn from. I love your straight to the point no nonsense approach to your live demonstrations. Ive learned so much from you about the details of Afro hair care & styling. This ladys hair is in very good shape for hair thats never been cut.
Yeah, the "growing dandruff" was actually dermatitis (probably/usually) caused by the harsh chemicals in relaxer creams. I don't recall ever having dandruff prior to relaxing my hair for the 1st time in my teens. Now, even though I'm natural again (and have been for the past 6-7yrs), I still get dandruff 😔
@@sensimania Same. Been relaxer free for over 2 years and still have dandruff. I think those relaxers can permanently jack up the ph of the scalp for some people.
My hair has been in cornrows for around 2 months? now, and I get very little dandruff. My little sister on the other hand, has had 2 relaxers, and gets chronic dandruff. Prior to my idiot cousin giving her a relaxer without my mom's knowledge though, her hair had very little dandruff like mine. Ik because I used to do her hair when my mom had to leave early for work. The harsh chemicals in relaxers make your scalp peel, I think.
Amazing....Amazing....Amazingly efficient work by the artist, and what compliance by the client!! This is artistry!! Congratulations and Continued Blessings!!
How many people can process many people can process hair and do nice styles but the elite of hair stylist s are geniuses at hair care and healthiness first and foremost. Scripture says a woman's hair is her glory....You are very very blessed and thank you for blessing others
Nice. We share the same texture but I keep my hair shoulder length. I do it at home but I get it professionally trimmed every 6 weeks. Shout to you both for being so professional and not having ADHD and rushing through. God Bless.
You did an awesome job!! 2hrs is typically how long it takes to properly do long hair. When I had long hair, before the big chop, my Dominican hair stylist did an amazing job but then her shop closed and I haven't found a stylist since to replace her. Henceforth why I did the big chop. My hair was the same length as this lady's hair. Now I'm carefully regrowing my hair. I am AfroLatina (Boricua) with 3c type hair from NYC. Not all Dominican hair stylists are the same. Plus I don't use relaxer, so my hair is too frustratingly difficult for them to handle.
Find yourself a good African American stylist they are in abundance, especially in your area. In that African American have different hair types, most are skilled in doing all types of hair.
Thank you for explaining everything as you went through the process. I am on a waist length growth journey and I am doing it all without the help of a beautician. I cut my ends myself since they take off so much when I go into the shop. I really did learn a lot from you doing this client’s beautiful locks. I get the build up throughout my whole head also and thought “just drink more water”. Please keep the knowledge flowing. God bless you in your business. Stay safe, stay blessed!
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 just keep at what you're doing. I grew my daughter's hair from birth, only giving her micro trims myself. Her hair was super thick knee length by age 11! I did a big chop on my own hair Sept 2019 to armpit length. 18 months later it was already hip length, because I give myself micro trims every 6 months. I now can sit on it as it's about 1-2 inches away from being classic length.
I wish I lived in Orlando! 💗 I can’t find a good stylist here in MD. I had below waist length hair when it was relaxed....the maintenance was too much so I stopped and now I can’t get it to go past my shoulders🤷🏽♀️ thinking about going back to relaxers after 10 years of trying. He hair looks amazing and healthy!
I live in MD too, and I agree can't find a stylist who truly cares about a client's hair. It's about the money or just going through the motion of doing hair. Have to find ssf someone who really loves their craft!😊❤🙏
Hi everyone, yes her hair is good before. I like The beautician taking the time explaining to us this person's problem with dry scalp something to get the build up off the scalp. 👍🏾✨
I would've thought warm would extract the oil better just based off the fact when I wash like our fry station at work has alot of oil and if I wash with cold soap it doesn't come off but if I use hot soap it comes right off so that's cool that you explained that.
You are an awesome hair stylist. Watching this video reminds me of the patience and care that my dearest sister used to have while caring for my hair.🥰😇😍
Beautiful! I love your teaching, you are such a professional! Client education is so important. You take the time to explain each step and I love that! So patient with each step! Keep up the good work! 🙌🏻🥰💕
Refreshing to see a black woman with her natural hair no excuses black hair doesn't grow long so proud of her as a black man, God bless you sister for not wearing weave hair of dead people in India and idol sacrificed hair ❤ 🙌
Wow! I have never seen such passion for hair. That is a GOD given talent not rushing after money. The dedication, passion and love for your work is amazing and inspiring..This is perfection at it's best.👆👆👆❤
@@bunnyoatmilk1315 - Don’t agree - my ancestry on my fathers side - White English, lm fifth generation, both my parents are black and born in the WestIndies , the majority of women on my fathers side of the family have long hair - mine is now mid back length after cutting it into a short Afro after having locs a few years ago - now my mothers side - not sure there is any Indian or white ancestry- but very few of the women have length. The amount of chemicals l have put in my hsir as a teen and in my twenties it has cut my hair and it’s still grown back - definitely genes for most in growing hair- my hair is now natural for many years . I would say though that there are a minority of black women - not relating to genes who have long hair !!! It’s definitely genes that determines your hair growth - do your research- just looked it up myself !!!

Yes but the bleached ends (or the blonde color in some spots) give the hair a cheap look. I wish the client's entire hair color was darkest brown or just black. Just one uniform color. 🤭
I enjoy the way you don't cut off the hair and just. Work with the hair most times every one will say your hair need cutting off to your healthy part and you don't have much hair from the start well so much for not just working with your hair but I see you just work with what hair people already have to work with you need a salon hair care stores in every town you're brilliant🔥🔥
She has the prettiest hair I've ever seen! This is my favorite hair channel. I have curly hair and I've learned a lot about how to straighten my hair. Thank you for all that you do!
Hey Lady, I respect and love you for the way you care and protect your clients. It was like a Momma bear protecting her cubs. I am a new subbie and with you for the long haul❣️ Your work is first class. Thank you for all your sacrifices, hard work and generously sharing of your knowledge.
I am so glad she made the statement about dragging the comb during the dandruff lift. I have been doing wrong. The people who help have been doing it wrong. My scalp will be so sore after we are done. I don't feel it immediately but give it a short time and I can barely put pressure on my head.
You did a great job Crystal !!! It's hard finding a great hair stylist you can trust.🤔 If you find one I suggest keeping them as long as you can. I know how it is going to salons with long hair. They either don't want to do it all or charge extra for every inch past your shoulders, or cut too much off if you ask for a trim or they offer to trim. Rrrrrr 😤😤😤. I have had to tell some off before, and get paid money in a settlement one time when they messed up with keeping relaxer on too long with my color, and my hair came out. Thankfully it grew back long. Thank the Lord. He knows I like my long hair. I only want it short if I ask for it; which I have had it cut short several times. I'm wearing it natural now, and curly, and long, and I flat iron it when I want it straight. Thought I would share. You're not alone in the long hair battle. Lol.😁 Happy Birthday 🎉🎈🎊🎈🎊🎈🎂🎀🎁 our very own black Rapunzel. Lol.😂😁😂😁😂. God bless you both, and your families. Amen.🤗❤️☺️

@@annharrison2399 I'm not gonna thumbs up or down until l see the finished product. Sorry.
Absolutely! She's a fabulous STYLIST, I wish she lived nearer to me!
@@BecBec1967 You are great the best Black I've seen do hair in a long time
Qq a!
@@rosieroseman7 isnt she though. The professionalism is something to be admired.
You go girl😁👍👼
I really like watching you do hair, you talk to us like we’re face to face. Thank you
Yassss!!!💖💯 Service worth paying for I never got any treatment like this at any salon I love seeing salons treat clients treated like this and she has beautiful amazing long beautiful hair💖 and I also love seeing a hair stylist that knows her stuff when it comes to natural hair
This woman has her own beauty, beautiful natural long hair. Good job
As a white woman with dark wavy hair, I am amazed at the quantity and quality of techniques black women use for their hairdo. The lady in this video has a precious hair; and the huge amount of products and their correct use makes you not only an artist, but also a hair-doctor.
So nice to see someone with beautiful long natural hair like that. Really love it.💕
I can't believe how long this woman's hair is. It is so beautiful and thick and healthy. So refreshing to see a black woman with naturally long healthy hair and not a weave or wig.
Agree
Yes, she has very beautiful hair.
I, as a white lady, am a bit jealous that wigs aren't as socially accepted in our community.
Thanks Crystal. Your transparency re your methods & naming products & technique, is greatly appreciated!
Omg, the transformation was real!💯❤
The long hair is absolutely gorgeous, and the stylist has magic in them hands🥰 great video. Thanks for sharing

Her and my mom have wonderful long hair, I think that’s something good about black women at the golden years stage. Beautiful!
Beautiful hair great stylist. Happy Birthday. No one in their right mind could give you a thumbs down. Bravo 👏🏾
You are also calm and kind and patient. It is a pleasure to watch someone like you enjoy 😊 doing your craft, thank you.

What an amazing job you did on your client's hair. She has beautiful long natural hair love it !!!! :)
Beautiful head of hair, people pay hundreds of dollars for their hair to look like hers😍 💕
Happy Birthday to your client 🎂
Do you think she charges $100’s from start to finish for this visit?
@@maureenhansen3308 Probably more like $150 - I would think. 😌
I just started watching but, I can pree much guarantee that this ain't no Super cuts prices!!
Years ago they called it growing dandruff when a person had long hair with a lot of dandruff
You're right, I remember that. My hair use to be like that, then at 13, I got a perm. Big mistake!
Did she always have long hair? What’s her hair journey or history to having it so healthy ?
Beautiful
Your client has beautiful hair and you're so gentle with it. She looks so relaxed!
You did a great job with her hair. I was falling asleep like I was the one getting my hair done.
How many people can process many people can process hair and do nice styles but the elite of hair stylist s are geniuses at hair care and healthiness first and foremost. Scripture says a woman's hair is her glory....You are very very blessed and thank you for blessing others
God bless her hair that is your strength u came to the right lady elite
Very very beautiful
love your dedication and attention to customer's needs
Gorgeous curls! Bravo to your client for not cuttong her hair. You did a nice job too.
Her hair is beautiful even before treatment! 💆🏽♀️
Indeed !!

Genetics, that’s usually the case
@@bunnyoatmilk1315 - Well my ancestry was to give you an example of genetics and hair - and also there was no change to the story- remember the emphasis was on genes or rather genetics and this is what l evaluated or in other words explained - get it ? Genetics!

What a beautiful natural head of hair.
Yes but the bleached ends (or the blonde color in some spots) give the hair a cheap look. I wish the client's entire hair color was darkest brown or just black. Just one uniform color. 🤭

I would’ve fallen asleep at that shampoo bowl. Man, the way she massaged her scalp looks so relaxing.
Fabulous job! You were very thorough and you took your time and explained the entire process from start to finish.

This is my hair minus about 2 inches. I wish I had someone who would take this kind of care on my hair. Beautiful job. ❤
My nieces have long, extremely curly hair. Took lots of work to find the right beautician to take care of all that hair.
Her hair is beautiful. You did an amazing job.
Amen.🤗❤️☺️
