    Forgive me if this comment sounds a bit demeaning of what you were trying to do. I have been trying to learn Notion for about 2 to 3 weeks now and the more I learn the more I say to myself this program is very non-intuitive and should have templates at the ready to be used by people like me who don’t know what they’re doing. I can’t believe how complicated it is just to set up a recurring tasks Checklist. You can do that in Apple calendar as an appointment that is recurring granted without the checkbox. I really wanted to learn notion and habit help me run my companies but instead it is a Kopany of complicated maze like that don’t seem to do what you really need them to. I will say however you explain it better than most anybody I’ve seen on UA-cam. Thank you.

      Thank you for your comment and honest opinion! We're also glad that you find our explanations easy to understand. We agree with many of the points you raised about how Notion is not as intuitive and can be cumbersome to build things with it. What makes us use Notion as our preferred tool is that it is an all-in-one space where you can keep notes, to-do, docs, and more but it takes some compromising and building time as well as customization until it really starts working! If you only need a simple to-do list we would recommend other tools as there are many others suited for that purpose! If you think that you might need to grow your to-do list to reference other databases or keep other information stored together we could recommend Notion!

    🚨For those who want to see their recurring tasks in advanced🚨, I found a work around: Create a recurring template called "Weekly Tasks" in the template. Set it to show up every Monday at 12AM. And INSIDE THE TEMPLATE, have pages set for all your tasks and the day. So when the week starts, you just open the task (in side view) and drag all the premade pages to their desired spot on the calendar. You're Welcome 👍👍👍

    Thanks a lot for the tips! I discovered Notion just recently and it's great, but overwhelming. This will be a great help.

    Love you! I was looking for something exactly like this. I don't understand why people want like 100 options and properties for a simple to-do list. Thank you!

    Thank you for such an excellent tutorial! But can you help me? Checkboxes for different tasks duplicate eachother and changes simultaneously. How I can fix it?

      Thank you for watching the video! You could add a linked view of your daily habit tracker into your main dashboard if you would like to see everything in one page!

    The video is simple and great at the same time but can you also tell how do I copy some of my tasks from day to some another day ?

    • @theorganizednotebook
      @theorganizednotebook  Місяць тому

      Thank you for watching and glad to hear it was useful! If you want to copy your tasks from one day to another by simply duplicating one of your tasks and dragging it to the day of your choice. If you're trying to copy a recurring task you'll have to do it through the database template! Hope this makes sense!

    Here if we are making two to do list then updating one, then why is it updating the other one?

    • @theorganizednotebook
      @theorganizednotebook  4 місяці тому

      Thank you for watching our video! The other to-do list is showing a filtered view of the main to-do list. Updating it will update all views for that database. Hope that this makes sense and let us know if you have any further questions!

    I can’t show the tasks on the calendar even though it says it all shown??

    • @theorganizednotebook
      @theorganizednotebook  Місяць тому

      Thanks for watching! Could you elaborate which tasks are not being shown? When the task is complete it disappears from the calendar so that you can see only your to-do items. You can also disable this if you go to your filter settings! If you need additional help feel free to email us at organizednotebook.info@gmail.com with screenshots of your issue!
