Please, secure your gear……ridiculous letting it bang around on the interior. ( not that I’m surprised…..I have little use for people that call themselves “journalists” because they were able to con a dealer out of keys to a car they could never drive otherwise…..then pretend they are qualified to evaluate handling by going around an industrial park. It just pisses off legitimate owners that DO KNOW what the car is all about and are in a position to do a real world evaluation. Please dealers…..stop handing out keys like you just don’t care what happens to the next legitimate customers car. ( Quite frankly, if I were considering a pre-owned car…..and found out it had been loaned out to one of these “journalists,” I’d pass on that car. Period.)
A lot of base Porsche owners add twin round tail pipes, remove the rear badges and pick bigger wheels because they don't want others to know they got a base model.
@@Responsible_C What I meant was that Porsche offers these options on their online configurator. I know how to use it. The round twin tail pipes can be selected without buying sports exhaust.
Love love love my base 718 cayman! Thanks for a great video!
That car has so many built in party tricks. You only scratched the surface. Great car, great review. 🤩🤩
Apparently lot of videos saying there are problems, such as seats uncomfortable, and the oil change is tricky because its not visible, etc
Great review
Love my 2021..different then my 987.2 (2009) Cayman, but fantastic.
I have a miami blue 2021 base cayman 13,500 now it’s absolutely wonderful.
You can have a optioned base car 90-100k way to much this car should be 45 50 base
The only problem I have with this Porsche, is there is no spare tire. (My Porsche 914 had one. My 924, had one. My 928 had one.)

you do realize that they come from factory with up to 20” wheels and the twin pipes come with the porsche sports exhaust?
