I would like to see the same model in both the wrong and best way to wear the item
Love the video. Very helpful ❤
The tops are cute. But it would have been nice if the "best choice" were on larger models. Nobody looks larger when they're a size 2!
Absolutely Here’s a fat girl in an ugly top. Now compare that to this skinny girl in a pretty top. See the difference? YA! There’s a fat girl and a skinny girl! Hahahaha!
Are we looking at the same video? All these models are large size women
@@alisonainsley7745I respectfully disagree. There were definitely single digit size models in this video.
@@loriella6250 we're not watching the same video then because at the beginning of the video the ladies modeling those tops are large size ladies, they're very attractive ladies but they're large size I don't think we're seeing the same thing then.
I don’t know what video you’re watching, but they’re showing larger women. I wouldn’t say I’m a larger woman but of course by their standards I am. At 5’7 I wear a 14 at the time but I have been a 10 and 12 over the last few years but had gain weight because of a back injury, and being on prednisone this year. Besides, if they do show slimmer models, you’re looking at the tops, not necessarily the model.
If you choose a model to wear a tan/white check top (no disrespect ---looks like a plus size model) keep that person to wear the different length sleeve with the same pattern top.
You put a slimmer person with a different sleeve, different color, different texture of material. This makes a HUGE difference if you're selling or buying a product.
Compare apple to apple VS 🍎 to 🍊. We are women of wisdom. 😇
My thoughts exactly.
I was thinking the same thing. Use the same plus size model for both-all the ladies clothing channels use thin models to show how to dress thinner.
Nice but trying to find these tops is next to impossible!
Please show the choice style on the larger model
Yes!
Tops that are cinched in below the bust that drape over the tummy area just look like maternity tops on we larger women. No getting around it.
The sewing term for this is “empire line waist”. (Waist positioned at the underbust line).
Some clothing retailers include this in the description of the item, some don’t.
Well, what to say, I am 70 and would not wear any of those clothes, they all look frumpy to me. I agree with the advice about choosing bags though, so many women do not consider their size or shape when buying them.
I would like to know where I could find these tops
Flattering tops and jackets are exceptionally hard to find, so when I find one, I tend to buy them in more than one colour so my style doesn’t vary much.
Thank you for sharing this most helpful information ❤
I have to disagree with the first one. I don’t think either top is correct. I am 5 foot seven and about 175 pounds and a size 14. If I wear a top like you suggest I look pregnant.
Extra fabric around the middle with gathering…..I’m 5’4” and 130….and I’d never wear that!
Hello, I am 74 and looking forward to each and every video you make. Thank you so much for tips that are easily applied to my wardrobe.
Thank you for this helpful video. I found you just in time. I'm trying to clean my closet out and this will help me donate those items that draw attention to the areas that I don't want them to. I didn't think about most of these suggestions until now. You're greatly appreciated.
Showing the “correct” top on a smaller sized person is just so very wrong
Thank you so much. I'm 64 over weight and you include people and styles for my types.
I'm there with you.
You’re so welcome! I’m truly happy that the styles resonate with you. I’m committed to continuing to create content that celebrates all body types. Stay fabulous! 😘
There are some beautiful clothes in this video; I wish we knew who made them and where we can buy them!
What about wearing bags that cross the body - practical & preferable.
I am so happy that I discovered your channel! Thank you so much for the practical tips that I can immediately incorporate in my wardrobe.
Great job and well communicated and presented! I too need some shoulder bag tips.
I've just subscribed. Thx for a great video & lovely tips. Greetings from Australia 💕
Lots of good tips but, as for the bags…those of us who are reliant on mobility aids, such a walking canes/frames, have no option but to opt for crossbody bags as our hands are otherwise occupied. It would be nice to see this taken into consideration. Also, the use of wheelchairs and mobility scooters also impact fashion choices. Long jackets and cardigans to create a lengthening column really don’t work. It would be good to see some inclusivity 😀
The line & fit of the shoulder seam can make a big visual difference too 😊
Wow, you really dis an excellent job wirh this video. In addition you showcased women of all sizes and proportions. This video eas very helpful.
Anyone even near a city will find the bag carrying choices asking to be pick-pocketed or robbed of the bag. It could result in a broken arm or wrist, as well. Bags are generally stylish when crossed over the torso and carried in front of the belly with a sealed opening worn inside, not flapping insecurely. as a welcome to intruders! Cute or sophisticated styles work this way. A clutch is impossible to deal with on a plane or train, gets lost in a cab, ends up on your lap or the floor at a party or restaurant or concert. Safety can be stylish!
It’s a mix of large-and small- sized models. I do think it would have been better to have all plus-sized models.
Great video, very helpful! It’s the little things that make me feel good!
Great video. Thanks for the tips ❤
I am really thankful that I come across your video's it's so stunning and very informative how to dress up properly with appropriate colors. God bless you.❤❤❤
If you had links for some of the clothes, it would be great. I love your channel. Keep it up.
Why do the models leave the long purse straps hanging down? Why not tuck it in the purse or remove it if it’s buckled on?
Very useful information, I loved it and learn many good tips 🙏
First time subscriber here! Do you have links where to buy this clothes on your channel?
Torrid? Macy’s, some lower-tier lines by designers like Calvin Klein and Ann Taylor.
I just found your channel and love your ideas! Would you please let us know where the cloths ( especially the tops around the 2 minute mark)? I loved the sleeves and under bust then longer tops! Thank you! ❤
What a helpful video, thank you 😊
Love it. Thank you!! (From a waistless woman.)
I love your voice and script!
Could you tell us where you buy the “good” tops?
Macy’s is good.
This old age stuff is hard!
Thank you for sharing your suggestions 😊
Agree with many of the comments. I’m a 66 Apple type. A big girl. I was just shopping yesterday. I know a lot of these things. I’ll see a top love it and try it on and hate it. I’m careful of prints colors and sleeves. Must skim my stomach and butt but not be a mummu. As far as purses. I have to have cross body bags. I walk and use public transportation. Casually holding strap in my hand is ridiculous. What I have is close to an envelope style. A hanging strap can catch on things and trip me. Also hints on where to buy something you show. I go to a well known woman’s plus size store local mall. It’s well known. Online I have a hard time because I need to try it on. I go in the store and part of the sales staff is trained to help you shop.i always walk out with a nice ce full outfit and with sales etc it fits my budget. Black slacks, denim jeans, flatter sleeve cream top with small black flowers running down vertically. 3/4 sleeve black and white top with a cross over near breast. And to go with both a long slim textured black cardigan. Rounded off with sales and discounts. $160! Same place I buy my bras. Some really supportive silky lacy and sexy. Never full price always a sale.
THANK YOU...I AM 65 AND HAVE A BEAUTIFUL FIGURE.....BUT I KNOW I AM A GRANNY AND MUST CLOTH MYSELF LIKE 1.....WITH RESPECT......
Merci, pour tous vos bons conseils.
Sorry that most of your photos and exemples are on thin persons. In that case, everything fits. Wish we could see the same with larger women
Super enfin un site de mode dédié aux femmes de 60 ans et l'élégance. Cela manque énormément. Vos modèles sont top. 👍👏
Thank You!! I'm delighted you’re enjoying the content. It's my goal to celebrate elegance at every age, and it's wonderful to hear that the styles resonate with you. 😘😘
Thank you, very nice
Thank you for your tips! I truly believe I look better because of it!
Which type of jacket/sweater to top a dress?
Thank you, you are valuable to us!
Thank you for your feedback! I’m so glad to hear you’re finding value in the videos and that they’ve been helpful to you. Your support is truly appreciated! Thank You!
Im plus sized and would like to wear my bags over the shoulder or the over the shoulder, under the armpit hold but----- the straps never stay on my shoulder!! My shoulders are slightly sloping, but not a lot. Is there a trick to keeping the straps on your shoulder?
I am heavy. I am outdated. I don’t care. I like my authentic self that has developed over my 60 plus years. I am beautifully me! 😊
Same here. Besides, if its not from Wal-Mart, I can't afford it anyway.
Do you, nobody is telling not too! Oh, you needed to tell us. Okay
Great content!!
The ways mentioned for carrying bags/purses, etc. are an invitation to have someone easily grab/snatch your purse. I personally don't want to carry more crap in my hands because it supposedly creates some look.
I appreciate your video.. I love the styles but haven't found any stores that sell items I like. Forget ordering online! Big disappointment after receiving the items... I learned to Google the companies before ordering anything. If you know of any reputable companies, please let me know.. 😊
Thank you for your lovely ideas❤
You're very welcome! 😊
Ty❤
Great job 👏
Enjoyed this video
Thank you for the feedback! I’m so glad you enjoyed the video. Your support keeps me inspired!😘
Please use more plus sized models and please tell us where to purchase the clothes.
Just want to thank you as ive employed some of your suggestions and friends have noticed . So thank you
I’m so happy to hear that! Glad you’re seeing results! Keep embracing your fabulous self! 😘
Comparing tops when one model is pale, larger, with unstyled hair with a slim tanned model with styled hair and accessories (necklace/earrings) Style is what you make it. At my age now I like wearing colorful clothes that are comfortable….. not to advertise I have money to purchase all this high end styling .
Is there advice for men to look stylish? Dress in beige with expensive watch and hand made shoes …. also trim your nose and ear hair…. don’t wear pink shirts ?
With the economy as it is…we are being asked to spend money to replace clothing for “ fashion”? Or is it so you can make a little change on our purchases?
How much larger do you want them I am 75 and I look flysize 4
Dankeschön
You're very welcome! 😊
Sorry you need to use the same model to try both the do and don’t outfit, otherwise, your points are not convincing
How about someone that is round in the middle. That would be nice to see.
Thank you for the suggestion! I’m working on a video that will address this, so keep an eye out for it soon. Your input is appreciated. Stay tuned! 😘
White pants? Thise are for people who are size 2
PLEASE, WomenLadies that are size 12 and more!
I’m almost 74 and I really don’t give a crap while you know I put on clothes that I’m comfortable in and if if you don’t like it, don’t look
Exactly, dress to please yourself and feel confortable, what is good today is ridiculous tomorrow so who care, life is short, enjoy the moment .
How charming!
I’m not fond of any is those suggestions / choices.
What about elegance after seventy or eighty?
Same as any age I would think . Quality fabrics , colours that suit you snd a good fit .
False Wrap tops with a slight gather on one side not any of those maternity smock tops .. Slight flare ok.. for hiding tum .
You're right! It’s all about finding those perfect details that work with your body and make you feel confident.
@@EleganceAt60 thankyou I do love your videos .. just thought it would help those with a tummy problem ❤️
Well, a sweater with crosswise stripes makes anyone look heavier. You have to be skinny to wear that.
Frenchies. “What would Susie Wear”. Perfect
I didn't much care about 'fashion' when I wax young. At 74, I could not care less. I buy whatever my local thrift shop has in my size. :)
All these tips are great, but in most stores, plus-size clothing is exactly the kind you advise not to wear. Such styles which you show are mainly available up to size L. Often, you have to shop online and then send items back because what you receive is frequently not what was shown in the picture, but a poor imitation. Decent clothing can sometimes be found in boutiques, but even then, not always-and it’s very expensive. Few middle-class people can afford such expenses. For these reasons, plus-size women often dress poorly.
Check Pantaloonies
Great video
These looks are not reflective of current American attitudes about women and fashion… They are based on a lot of outdated, thinking about clothes and style. Modern senior women are much more active and less decorative.
Personally, I wear half or full sleeve, which are rare.
If you wish to show how a woman might avoid looking "heavy and outdated," it would be logical to show a fuller figure in the Do's and not just the slim ones. As one ages, joints can wear causing pain to holding a large handbag in certain positions. IMHO, the fairly recent "style" of smooshing the front edge of a loose top down the front of a waistband, with the sides and back hanging out all over is just plain sloppy. I do not care for "Trends." Who wants to look like everyone else? One should wear the outfits in which one feels pretty and comfortable; The behavior tends to follow the clothing.
Holding any bag in the hand is easily grabbed and taken from you. You must hold your bag closer to the body.
They all look frumpy ☹️
A bag hanging on my arm will get set down and lost.
I totally get that! Thanks for sharing your thoughts!😘
Older petite women styles please
What about woman with big busts and big build ..try it on the womantoo
I appreciate your feedback! I’ll be sure to include more tips for women with a fuller bust in upcoming content.
The models started out plus size and got thinner as video went on! These models didn't even look 35!
Wow--watching the section on tops makes me think that all women over 50 are obese. Just not so! And, sadly, all of the recommended tops seem matronly to me.
How come ya'll don't say anything about over the shoulder
Thanks for bringing this up! I'll definitely be covering over-the-shoulder styles in a future video.
The music is dreadful, repetitive, and exhausting. If its presence is essential and necessary, make another choice!
❤❤❤❤
Thank you!! 😊
❤👏👍🇹🇷
Also, to be blunt, pants should never ever display "kitten smiles," or "Dromedary Toes." Period. End Of.
But I am outdated lol 😅
i will never get caught in a denim jacket. feel it cheapens any outfit. plus they are just ugly. have never seen a cute/nice one i would care to buy.
Thank you for overthinking , Why not put this info on someone’s site who doesn’t know anything about STYLE. My Site didn’t send for this, Is it your moms style?????
How about losing some weight. I did and now mostly all styles look good on me. Stop camouflaging. Lose weight. You will look and feel better!
Wow! Nothing like fat shaming to inspire. How about stfu and worry about yourself? I prefer to lift people up instead of knocking them down. Or perhaps I’m missing something and you’re just an internet troll?!
You don't need to tell anyone what to look like, you have 34 subscribers, that should tell you some thing.
Uhh ... the stats say 35-point-something *K* -- which means over 35 THOUSAND subscribers. 😊
Too frumpy.
I might be wrong but a jeans jacket on an older woman looks as if she is trying to appear more like her daughter.
