Yes! So glad you talked about the Sundown. I’ve been using one for three years. I absolutely love it! Durable, functional, comfortable, and super versatile. You missed demoing how it can be turned into a day pack by clipping the bottom pieces together. Only have great things to say about this pack and company! And, they also make a sweet fanny pack!

I’ve had a few versions of the Lone Peaks and last year I tried the Topos, as well. Like you, I appreciate the foot-shaped toe box. They are very comfortable trail runners and the upper is more durable than I would have expected- both pairs outlasted the sole.

The NUL backpack is on my shortlist of packs. 2 reasons. It's Canadian. And it comes in purple 😊 I have a set of NUL stuff sacks. They're a great brand. And there's not many options in the Canadian marketplace for buying UL gear.
I really like those rain mitts from Z Packs. Might have to add those to my wish list.

Useful video Pie. Nice to get gear reviews that are brief and introduce you to new to market gear.

    Your items sound exciting.
Another bomb proof option for your gloves are the tried and tested Showa Temres 802 or 803. Andrew Skurka mentioned them a few years back and they can’t be beat for the weight, durability, price! Just aren’t super small (compact), though.

    Ooh interesting, Iceland. Subbed!
Altra seem to be changing, I’m not getting on with the new versions of the shoes I like. Racer, Superior and King
Interesting to hear about your Topos...

The new Lone Peaks come in a wide width version that’s even more comfortable for people with extra wide feet.

The Terraventures 2 are too narrow for me. They stress my feet too much and hurts to wear them. They are about 1/4 inch narrower than my Topo Ultraventures (which I love). The TV2 are well built though and the soles are really over kill because you are going to wear out the upper before you do the treads on them.

Puffy jacket looks interesting. What's the shirt you're wearing here? I'm always on the lookout for good dog walking shirts!

Hello Pie I love your Channel man you do some awesome review. Pie I am interested in the shoes that you just reviewed. You mention you have a very very wide foot! Question if you don't mind me asking? Do you know how wide is your foot? I'm trying to see if these will fit my foot. I have big extremely very very wide feet sz15 6 EEEEEE wide with very fat wide toe that are equally straight across. My foot is 6 inches wide now. I just had foot surgery not too long ago and they were 6 1/2 inches wide then but now they have shrunken down to 6 inches wide now. I would like to try to order these because I have not been able to wear a shoe , sock , or boot in the past 33 years because my foot outgrew shoes , socks. Since the width of my foot has gone down I would like to try to order a pair of shoes for the winter time and for me to hike in. It's getting very very uncomfortable to wear sandals in the snow. I don't mind wearing sandals in 20 or 30 degree temperatures but in the snow is getting very difficult for me now. Good review brother thank you for the video.
