Barry was both a brilliant presenter and an absolute gentleman.
Without Barry Norman the 'Film' show would never have lasted anywhere as long. And it would have been shunted around the schedules before it ended.
Miss you, Barry
Still to come.. Zoe ball, Harry Enfield, Louise Wener ❤️, the Fine Young Cannibals & Dodgy,..
Ahh The 90’s
Cool De Niro story
Kind of an inspired choice for an interview
legend
What a gent. RIP Baz
Presenter par excellent
Aaaaand why not....👌
RIP Barry Norman & the Film Series at his best Jonathan Ross is still a pale, paltry imitation of the master. He fails miserably to fill one half of Barry Norman's boot let alone the pair. Ross will never be revered or in Barry Norman's league or even the one below that and he knows it.
Barry Norman, the perpetual square. Those that can do, do, the remainder become critics. Of course Norman had family in the industry which gave him access to stars and directors, when backed by the BBC. Norman is now forgotten, his TV profile got him into voicing adverts for a dodgy mortgage company. No Oscars in Norman's family cabinet. He makes my skin crawl. He did manage to persuade his daughter Samantha to do a documentary on him. Who else would?
Did Barry Norman run over your dog or something? Calm down, for goodness sake...
He was a square, but a truly Amazing one. Direct and to the point. Loved his criticisms. And why not?
And who exactly are you? 😂
Nobody likes you
Is it true being miserable is an art form there ?
