R I p. Mr Barry Norman my dad and I love watching your show all the time you were our favourite film critic you are sadly missed my brother called me Mrs. Barry Norman after you he said I should be a film critic like you
Oh I wouldn't literally rip him, but I think spending years slagging off work it took other people years to create, never making any art himself, and vilifying dozens of British pictures at a time when the industry was on its knees doesn't move me to tears.
Thanks for your comment. I've got plenty of these to upload but it's about running the copyright gauntlet. In this video, Dracula and Reservoir Dogs were allowed subject to copyright claim but I've just uploaded a Film 91 which Fox immediately blocked worldwide due to a clip from Miller's Crossing. I guess I need to edit out all clips just in case before uploading any more.
Yeah, or if you can, 'flip' the image or something when the clip is played. I think some people do that. It's an advert for the film...should be supported!
I'm not sure if it's a deliberate irony or a rather unfortunate miscalculation that the opening scene of the film (the Vlad scene, which is definitely NOT Bram Stoker) ends with the film's title: BRAM STOKER'S DRACULA.
Thank you Mr Norman for having such a love of film which helped in turn drive me to take part in the medium.
The best film critic UK telly ever had. It's been too long [sigh].
Henry. A portrait of a serial killer is now out uncut on DVD.

Miller's Crossing is one of my favorite films and I'd love to see the review. Please do keep posting when you can.
Nigel Glynn he wasn't in agony when he died, he went in his sleep at home.
Does anyone know the title and artiste of the piece of music accompanying the top ten films countdown?
I'm surprised Alien 3 didnt come up on the violence thing. Unforgiven actually was anti violence in a way

In light of streaming movies, Ferman's comments are so, sooooo dated...
