Do you know if its possible to move the door lock itself to the passanger side? I have carbon fibre handles but as im in the UK the door lock is on our passanger side of the new handles, so thought I could kove the actual barrel to the other side (our passanger side)......if that makes sense.
Yes, that should work for you! Because the ignition key is double sided, meaning the key has the same cut on each side.
Is there any where to order just the blue plastic piece mine is missing
Im having a problem with replacing the door handle. The part where the rod goes into the blue plastic piece. I am getting the rod in the blue plastic but once it is reassembled (the 10mm bolts installed) the door will not open with the new outside door handle. The inside door handle works but for some reason the outside handle doesn't. I've had it on and off several times, making certain each time that the rod stays inside the blue plastic piece but when you try to open the door it will not open. Any ideas? Can that blue plastic piece be faulty? It's supposed to have a hole in it for the rod to go in, but it just seems like the rod is not pushing down the lever that the plastic piece is on. Anyone have some help with this? Thanks.
Try Disassembling your good door handle and checking it out to see exactly how it's working, compare this to the new door handle to see if there's any difference between the two!
In your valve cover video, you say the 303 may help with removing rubber hoses. Is there any other products you’ve found that work better, or are designed specifically to help remove rubber hoses?

What would cause the drivers to not work but passenger works? Has new actuator from nissan as well
Have you checked the handle on the drivers side, they will also fail over time!

Do you have an idea how to replace the cables? mine broke and I need to replace them.
You'll see....just get that thing removed like he shows here then remove that black cover piece to access the cable ends

Ya, my white plastic was brittle by the end and they both broke trying to get them out. Did you find a replacement cable you liked.
Did you ever figure out how to turn on the reverse lights after the manual swap on the 350z?
The easiest way would be to swap out the automatic harness to a manual harness! I haven't tried to do a work around yet, but if I do, I will definitely post a video on it! Thanks so much for watching!

Yes, you must remove the glass!

My 350z won't suddenly open both doors from outside and inside. The back door opens and the cars runs etc. Do you ever hear about this problem?
Have not run into that problem yet, can you open the drive side door with the key? If you can, something may be wrong with your remote.
How do you open the door if the actuator is not letting it open. ?
Unlock your door from the inside!! But if that doesn't work, you may have to destroy your door panel to access your door lock!
I saw someone once said you had to remove all of the weatherstripping and then it gives you just enough room to remove the panel

Always something to mess with. But be careful with the A pillar topper. I guess it's hard to replicate. But they are about $400-500. Sometimes you see a car missing those and it not a good look. Kia Soul also has those A pillar garnishments. Anyway glad to know more things that break. Stuff like this keeps the buy price reasonable at least. Hehe
Yes, those plastic trim pieces are crazy expensive if you can even still get them. I have g35 coupe and most of them are discontinued and the ones that you can source are over 800 dollars a side.
