I got a 05 g35 coupe, no power to locks or windows on either door since i got it and the fob doesnt work either. fuses are good kinda stumped idk if its the actuators or what
Actually, try the lock switch on your doors if that doesn’t work, then I am going to assume it’s either a fuse under the hood there’s 2 hidden fuse box’s ones easy to find the other you have to take a part a few things but it’s not hard, also if the fob isn’t making the lights on the outside flash when you lock or unlock the car then try reprogramming it, there’s some videos on UA-cam showing how to do so, and if there isn’t a fuse that’s burnt it’s probably the actuators since the actuator motors run both windows and locks , so once the locks start going out soon after the window motor will give out as well, and they are on the same bracket
Will this work on my 12 G37 with lock unlock button on the door handle outside? I want a cheap fix like this. Great video btw. Edit: The broken door is the back left door.
If it’s not unlocking and or locking with any button used to lock or unlock but the other doors do it is possible that the actuator went out or that there may be a fuse that burnt out I would first make sure it is the actuator
@@nationaloutlaws4818 No, it doesn’t work with any buttons from the remote or the buttons by the window buttons. And all the other doors work like it’s supposed to. So there’s a separate fuse for each individual door? And where would that fuse be located in, if you know? Thanks in advance.
I don’t think there’s a fuse for each individual I could be wrong I’m not that sure but if all others are working then maybe it is your lock actuator and if the window isn’t moving that could be the window motor the switches or a fuse
@@nationaloutlaws4818 Oh ok. All four windows are working just fine. I have heard that on Nissans and Infinitis once the lock actuator goes out, sooner or later the window stops working too. Idk how true is that, I’m new to this brand. And also I wanted to make sure if this lock actuator would work on my 2012 G37 rear door? Cause I want a cheap fix.
That’s also what I’ve heard but I’ve done this fix over a year ago and it’s hold up strong as well as my window motor, and if all windows work more than likely it is the actuator and yes it’ll work you just have to diy it to get the oem latch working with it
Hello I have a question installed this yesterday and it won’t lock or unlock just hear the actuators working but wont lock need to fix this ASAP thanks.
Heyyy, soooo you have to make sure the wire is getting pressure if it has slack in it it’s not gonna work or it’ll work here and there but not 100% like you’d like, I suggest going back thru and making sure the oem cable is tight also there is a clear film over the oem wire you have to remove or else it work either it has to be metal or it’s not gonna work
Make sure the cables are put on correctly, once I didn’t install it correctly and it would unlock but not lock since it wasn’t on properly, if that’s not it, at the very end of the wires there’s like this plastic part that should be a guide where to put your cable to, try pulling it further so it get pressure and then put it on while maintaining that pressure
@@nationaloutlaws4818 man thank you for the reply and the video finally got my doors locking & unlocking!! Had to zip tie the two cables together so it could pull the lock open/closed & adjust the rod. Prob took each door panel off & on 100 times lol. 👍🏼
@@nationaloutlaws4818 Thats great bro good to hear, gonna order them then, my passenger door on my 03 coupe recently went out so gonna give this a go, appreciate it bro! 🙏🏼
Dude you saved me $1650! I just put the actuators in just like you showed and they work great. Thank you.
Of course glad I could help!!!
Holy shit is it really gonna be that much ?
Came here looking for a part what would work on my G35. Perfect, thanks for the link👍
Of course, glad I could help!
What size are the self tapping screws and what size gauge wires did you used for the extension???
Sweet, good stuff here dude.
Thank you I’m trying🥲
Amazing ordering the parts now
We’re you able to?
Great, thank you
How are the locks holding up a year later?
Haven’t let me down !!!
My problem is when i clamp it down to the lock it just slides through doesn’t actually hold it

does cutting the wire disconnect the lock / unlock buttons on the doors from working?
Which wire in specific, the ones that connect to the new actuator for its power or the one that moves back and forth?
Thanks for this brother. Would this also work for a 2004 FX35? Mine have been giving out lately on all doors.
You should be able to diy it on so it can work, I actually diyed mine on my car also!
You repaired them in your fx35 04?

any tips on resembling the door handle/door panel back on? Having issues with it locking after I put the cables back into the door handle housing

Lol the important thing is that they are working now, I’m glad they are and I was of help!
What’s up brotha, wanted to make sure after you installed these they’re still running strong?
Heyyy, actually, they are awesome, strong as day one hasn’t had any problems and it’s been 9 months since I installed them

Will this work for a 06?
Yes, I mean technically you are bypassing everything and putting your own actuator so yes it should
👀
Hehe so u be watching g vids tooo
@@jasonraahauge9343 haha I wanted to see other people trying out the method I showed 😄
Did the wire come with the kit or did you buy more wire?
I bought more wire to complete the task, you can buy more wire at a local Walmart that’s what I did in the car section
Jeez, no no no... wtf
Wym
Sweet thank you!!
Of course!
