I've bought a lot of keyboards in my day, and the Rainy75 is by far the most premium feeling one I've ever owned. Plus the sound profile is to die for, i love the way that it sounds.
I recently managed to get the pro version of this keyboard for a total of $103 total on a sale on Drop, which compare to the typical price of $150 if you buy it in amazon plus, so a really good deal in my opinion; and so far I really like it.
The Rainy 75 is definitely a disruptor for the crazily priced mechanical keyboard market. I bought one and it rivals keyboards twice its price. Keep it up Wobkey!
@@Rashidun313 I think so. The Epomaker P75 isn't a bad keyboard, I think the Rainy and Bridge 75 edge it out though in build quality and overall typing experience.
I got the Rainy75 a few months ago as well and I LOVE IT. It is by far one of my favorite keyboards that I owned, but I had no idea that not only was this WOBKEY's first product but that they also just got started in January. Crazy! I would highly recommend it as a keyboard for anyone wanting to get into keyboards
I've had a Rainy75 since January and loved it while I used it as a daily driver for work (I currently use a Zoom75). For the price, feel, materials, sound profile, and being pre-built, the Rainy is incredible! Having the wireless toggle under a key was a weird choice, but was never a concern since I kept it wired.
A few months ago when I was looking to buy a keyboard I checked out this one. At the time (could still be) their discord was filled with a TON of problems. As well as them just NEVER responding to anything. So I'm not sure a keyboard without any kind of warranty could be considered best unless it is pristine and the amount of problems I saw was far from it. Still a great video and a great sounding keyboard.
I got KZZI K75 PRO and I love it. Most good keyboards around $100 are not wireless (come on now, it's 2024). And for the $100 (when I bought it last year) range no other keyboard I like the KZZI because it tickets all my needs and more: 1. Long battery life when LEDs are off. I am talking about of well over THREE weeks before I need to recharge it. 2. Battery indicator. 3. Support for Bluetooth and 2.4Hz wireless at 1000Hz poll rate. 4. 3-Pin and 5-Pin hot swappable switch sockets. 5. USB hub (2 USB C and 1 USB A ports) And more. Most other keyboards has one feature or the other but not all (Battery indicator, USB hub, support for Bluetooth, etc.) and most other keyboards are ridiculously thick that you can't use them comfortably without a wrist pad. Areas of improvements I'd say the: - Software's UI (not the features, it's well featured, just the UI look) - A dedicated volume control knob. It just looks cool and you don't have to FN + F key the process.
Bridge. I had both, rainy75 pcb gave out within a few months and support was useless. I also prefer the bridge ball-catch mechanism, sound. Rainy has a better case finish is all
I just got myself the Aula ... but the M75 one. It's the F75 but without a knnob and has a 3-part alu case. It has an actual dongle slot, flex cut PCB, PC flex cut plate, 6 butterfly gaskets and tons of foam. Please check it out and give your opinions so I feel like I made the right choice by not getting the Rainy75
Bought into the Rainy75 during the kickstarter with a Pro model as they had one more slot left for the Super Early Bird deal of $100. A months later it showed up and I have been using it constantly ever since. Haven't had a problem with it and it has been dead-on reliable throughout the daily driver usage it has been through. Haven't had to open up the internals yet for any mods as I tend to like how it sounds stock. Got the blue model and and decided to go more premium with the keycaps and order a set of Cerakey Crazed keycaps aswell as some 67g springs to swap out on the stock WOB JMX switches it came with aswell as filming them. And overall with that has been a pleasant typing experience with my only problem being me not used to the texture and missing the correct keys from time-to-time. But that is on the keycaps and not the board itself.
I bought it on Drop during their black friday sale i got the standard version for $90 and after tax and shipping came out to $100 flat, i was a bit worried since the shipping said it was going to be delayed till January 15th and i heard some issues about quality control and was thinking of canceling my order, but it ended up shipping a few hours after i got that delay notification lol, and honestly i couldnt be happier. I geniunely have no complaints besides the keycaps being pretty tight on there and the switch pulling off with them. I genuinely dont know how a keyboard could be much better its super solid and heavy, all the keys sound great, stabilizers feel very nice, its wireless ( i dont really care about personally), RGB, and hot swappable.
Paid extra for shipping and even at ~£150, its worth it. No regrets. Easily the best keyboard ive bought or tested. I only wish they didnt sacrifice the right ctrl key for the logo.
I love mine. Only problem for me: The right shift key is shorter than standard, so you need to be very careful with that when you order replacement keycap sets.
Same! Have been trying keyboards for a while and now have found the perfect one for me in the Rainy75. Its value preposition is great and the build quality and typing sound is just right for me. 🥰
I got mine from mechanicalkeybords to avoid the customer service issues I've heard about. Saved a chunk of money since I didn't have to pay for Wobkey's expensive shipping costs. Plus I had a coupon code. Great keyboard. Legit feels like a weapon. The poppy sound takes some getting used to for me. Overall best keyboard I've put my fingers on.
I bought mine on amazon on sale for $120 even with all the bell and whistles. pretty happy about it. Except for when I went to change the switches out some of the plate ripped out with it. Could be skill issue but this is the only keyboard thats ever happened to me.
So I got this keyboard and it's fantastic, but I think I would like a deeper sounding switch? It's a BIT clacky? It's not terrible and I could live with this tbh but just wondering what a deeper switch profile could do? any recommendations?
Great keyboard for the price for sure! Not my favorite of the year but for those who don't want to build for the price it almost can't be beat. My favorite pre-built of the years is the Evo80 but it's almost twice the price with shipping and is TKL. To me the HMX switches are the way to go, no need for the pro on the Rainy 75, especially if you want to use RGB and will keep it plugged in most of the time.
It’s okay , I would stick it with the bridge 75 , womier sk75 , the k75 pro xvx isn’t to far off ,for the price it’s good though I just with more would incorporate syncing rgb with other programs , great video
I have the Rainy75 Pro and the Womier RD75, and the latter is better for the tinkerers amongst us with its ball catch system instead of the hidden screws, so you can open and change stuff on the fly.
Hey, you should try the walla F 75 keyboard I got it and it’s pretty well out of the box. I would also like to hear it tape mod. Thank you for reading.
I think the XVX K75 pro, and the Epomaker Feker Galaxy 80 are also amazing boards at $100 (full aluminum, good foams, RGB, and wireless). The Rainy is a tiny bit better than them, but also around $130, so its more money for a little bit better.
I own the Rainy75 Standard and agree it is one of the best “budget” keyboards unfortunately for me the broke with the RGB on various keys, where they go on and off randomly. Though I don’t care much for the RGB on the Rainy75 (just doesn’t look go on it). It does make question the quality of some components. I also, own a Bridge75 HE and right now it’s my current main for work and I have to say I personally think it’s better, both from a quality and software standpoint.
The yunzi al68 has a full aluminum board with the same kind of weight and with Bluetooth and rgb for 100 dollars but the rainy 75 if you want rgb you can’t go with the lite version that’s actually 100 dollars
I got my first rainy75 from kickstarter and then I found a 2nd at a amazon return store for only 12$ and it was the pro pink and mine from kickstarter was 120 the standard electro blue.
