Must say tbeir are some brilliant farming you tubers on here but my personal opinion for the viewing I like you are the probably my favourite because you go into so much detail with what your talking about machines and crops and all done from a mobile phone aswell brilliant content 👏🏻
Mudguard moves so you can get in for maintenance. Also a question about yesterday’s video, why bed the ground for potato’s into ridges twice? What’s the point of the first one before the destoning?
Hi folks , Well done Olly great walk round on the fendt are you going to have room in the yard because you make a good salesman. Sound like your jab gave you a bit of a cold ? 🥶 quiz lock to lock movement stops guards foweling chassis. Keep it up it's still great to see it all happening 👍
The new fendt is some nice piece of kit a lot different from the Massey Ferguson 565 I learnt to drive on when I was a boy The mudguards move so you can achieve full lock on the steering Glad your feeling not to bad after your second jab 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Hi Olly, nice way to drive around checking fields.. Have you seen the Agivids video of a Fendt 942 in blue livery?? It looks fantastic. I'm sure the front fenders move to give you access to get to the engine. Cheers Olly 👍
Ours do that because otherwise on full lock you'd be be busting them on the engine. Still waiting for rain here so far we have had 6mm of April showers ☹️
Hi olly ,the mud guard s are designEd to not rub the bonnet side panels, you also get a better steering lock, i also think the markers can be turned when using with trailers ,have a good day 👍👨🔧🛠👨🌾😷
Access the engine for routine checks/services. Ain’t there any boys local that are after pigeon shooting. If not contact BASC,NFU they should be able to point you in right direction 👍🏻👍🏻
@@OllyBlogsAgricontractfarmer that’s about as much use as a pogo stick in your wet field, I’m sure you have but have you tried an add in the shooting times or some other like minded mag. I guess it’s a cost but may be a small price to pay considering the amount of damage the bloody pigeons cause. Good luck anyway
Pleased you are feeling Ok. That Fendt looks very complicated!!! What ever us farmers plant there is always something doing damage. Quiz they bend so has to avoid damage. Take care and thank you.
I see the Fendt are having a boom in sales. How do yours compare with say a John Deer. Are you pleased with them? I watched Laura's farm in the USA and they demoed a Fendt and she couldnr get over all the tech available
it pivots so it can go full lock and not catch or spray mud sideways and them jacb loaders are alot more jerky than the merlo but tbh I rather it cause I find our jcb is quicker than the merlo
Nice to see the differences. Have to say I’m old fashioned, always preferred having more on buttons than on screens!

Swivelling mudguards serve 2 purpose. Allow tighter turning on front access and also easier service access
Yet again another brilliant vid olly 👍
Thanks 😊
Hi Olly very good interesting video great content 👍👍👍
Nice to see to see the bees a major part of our life ...be safe from Essex
Bee safe 🤣🤣
Brilliant video Olly, thank you!
Mudguards move so that you can access the engine from both sides and check the dipstick easier.
I'd thought they had them swivel like that because if you have a front loader bracket on it'd destroy the mudguard
To allow you to chech the engine oil dip stick.
Really interesting video Olly.
What about the other side
To allow full lock without crushing mudguards against frame of tractor. Especially if loader brackets fitted. Makes greasing easier too
Ya know, when in pedal mode, if you just flick the shuttle forward when in neutral it saves you having to move the joystick and trigger to get moving.
I know I’ve had fendts for 15 years 🤣🤣🤣
@@OllyBlogsAgricontractfarmer just sayin like 😂😂
Another great video olly.

Yes it’s lovely
Mudguard moves so you can get in for maintenance. Also a question about yesterday’s video, why bed the ground for potato’s into ridges twice? What’s the point of the first one before the destoning?
Its a rotovator to smash lumps and form correct width beds
@@OllyBlogsAgricontractfarmer thank you. Another great video today 👍
Great video once again
👍🏻
The mudguards do that to increase the lock of the tractor so they don't catch. Plus it makes servicing the tractor easier for access in those areas?
👍🏻
Another brilliant video Olly those mudguards are they like that if they get hit by something
🤣🤣🤣
gonna say to stop them hitting the body on full lock, or stop damage if you catch them on something.
👍🏻

So the tractor can turn tighter and the mudguards don't hit the chassis
Our old 5610 used to have dump switches on the hydraulics. You would think fendt would givethem as standard.
Haha nice mudguard, mine just bends as it hits the side of the bonnet
I think they pivot so you can turn tighter, but over time they pivot to squeak and squeal to piss you off when you turn
So they can increase the steering angles and they don’t catch the side of the machine.
The mud guards pivot do they don't hit the bonnet when turning
Feeling achy isn't that a daily feeling when you have Crohns? 😂 it is for me! 😂
quiz question: is that so when your turning the fender doesn't hit the chassis. great video!
Thanks

565 was a lovely tractor though
Is it to do with the tractor suspension and tyre size / clearance ?
I dare you to go annoy those bees, would make for a great video! 😂
🤣🤣🤣
You need a train horn on the tractors to scare the birds 😂 And annoy the neighbors 😂
G'day Olly very cool video
If only I was closer I would come and sort the pigeons out!
To reduce width when turning in tight spaces
👍🏻
I think someone needs to invent a drone that can automatically scare off those damn pigeons. With a “mutly” laugh 😂
🤣🤣🤣
Tom is good. N Breakaway fenders maybe??
Olly do the mudguards pivot to allow access to the engine for maintenance ?
Not really
Great video as always Olly! :-)
Thanks 😊

I’m looking for either a blue or black 936 tbh
@@OllyBlogsAgricontractfarmer I like the black one Olly
but the blue one is a sexy beast 😁
Quiz question it’s so u can get to the side of the engine need that for a fendt
Pivot because the follow the line of wheels and in case you run over something?
Thank you for using my picture
No problem thanks for sending it
Is it so u can check the engine without having to turn on the tractor and turn the wheels as it removes a big obstruction
👍🏻
Great video again 😀
Thanks
So when you are at full lock you don't snap or bend the mud gaurds
Pivoting fenders have 2 purposes 1 for a better steering lock and 2 so fat lads such as myself can get in to check/change engine oil etc 👍🏻
🤣🤣🤣
Quiz is so is u turn into the bonnet it won’t rip the mud guard off
With the quizz it might be so when you turn it they clip some things it won’t damage it
🤔
Ours do that because otherwise on full lock you'd be be busting them on the engine.
Still waiting for rain here so far we have had 6mm of April showers ☹️
🤦♂️
Great video👍
Thanks 😊
I sat in one a month ago and it had an i pad type tablet coming out of the roof.

They pivot so you can get access to the engine and if you catch anything

I know on a class they mud yards pivot so thou can check oil don’t know about fendt but assume the same
Sort of
Do they pivot to get better access when check levels and servicing
Sort of
When was farming drove a fendt 820 what had that type of mudguard don't know why as the steering lock was crap
So when the tractor fully locks the mudguard doesn’t catch on the tractor
Is the quiz to stop it hitting the side when turning tight?
👍🏻

they pivot to follow the tire and make it easier to access the side panels of the bonnet to check oil levels

What do you reckon to New Holland Tractors Olly ?
There blue and cabs are cramped
Mud guards pivot either so they don't get buggered if you hit something or do they don't hit the tractor when you're on full lock.
👍🏻
Love the content
Thanks 😁

Rented out
Can’t you edit the Go and end button on the old 724 do stuff like activate gps lower implement and set speed?
Yes
@@OllyBlogsAgricontractfarmer did they get rid of the go and end on the new 21?
So it dusent rub the frame if the tractor
👍🏻
100% agree with Sam. Swap the beacons
🤦♂️
Does the new Fendt have a dark mode for the dash? because its to white in my opinion.
At night yes
Do they move so it’s harder for thst person that keeps hitting the Merlo on stuff to brake the guards off of it if he’s allowed loose on it
Possibly
The 724 s4 is lower than 724 gen6 right? Great vid👍👍👍
Air leak on cab suspension on gen4

What about the bucket
They pivot so that they don’t hit the side of the bonnet when you are at full lock?
👍🏻
To get more steering lock so the mudguards don't hit the bonnet
👍🏻
weekly good video
Thanks
so they dont hit the chassis of the tractor when in full lock.
👍🏻
@@OllyBlogsAgricontractfarmer u showing that concrete bucket in work one day?
Quiz question is because the wheel move so the mud guards pivit as well so the don't break as easily
