Yeah, the pattern didn't overly look suitable for heating and why not heat the windows on the right-hand side. That said, they could build antennas in the cab top or somewhere else and not obsecure vision. Would be good to find out.
I can just imagine Mike walking around a dealership: “I’m thinking maaaayyyybe I’d like a new toy. Wonder how my credit is at the moment.” Dealership: “Yes.”
Family and farming first, then videos 👍👍. Priority Mike👍👍👍✌️. That's for sharing what you do. You are my TV as I don't watch the junk on TV anymore. 👍✌️
Buys a 724 for some loading work, while here you’d have one of the biggest tractor you would see on a farm in our area.. wanna invest in our clay and some toys here, mike😉
Tractors today are unbelievable aren't they. Its like a spaceship inside! How did we farm before hey. Best keep the technician close by when all that crap goes wrong. Keep up the good work guys.
In Germany we got a saying „Wer Fendt fährt, führt“ which basically translates to „Who drives Fendt, leads“... it‘s only funny in german cause the german spelling rhymes and almost all starting letters are a „F“ ahha I just wanted to let u know, if u didn‘t know about that one yet :-)
Hey Mike, Don in nebraska We also had a very cold April but once we started planting the weather straightened out and dried up where we’ve been able to go for two weeks straight without stopping good luck on the rest of your planting season
Congrats on your new tractor, it´s always fun with new equipment. Thank you for all your videos as well, as a new subscriber I find it amazing how you manage to run a farm this big at all hours, and still find time to film and edit all of this stuff. I know you just don´t film 24 minutes and then put out a 24 minute video. Love to see all the details of your operations, your maintenance and routines. As a Scandinavian farmer, everything is in miniature scale here, but we all know the basics don´t change. Keep it up, and stay safe (relatively speaking, since it is you ;) )
Yes, of course, I am familiar with the company's history. And for me it means that Fendt has been internationally known and properly recognized with the "help" of ACGO in 2009. But that´s just my point of view.
I have owned many cars and I must say German ones are hard to beat. I own a 1994 UrS4 and it runs like new. I had a 2001 Jetta TDI i got to 692000km. A 2005 Passat TDI with 450 000km and a 2006 Golf TDI with 406 000km. I drive 1000km/week for work. The mrs. did until work from home. Anything that comes out of Deutschland lasts forever! My Father-in-Law has a John Deere 1025 made in Manheim Deutschland with 15000hrs on it!
Yeah, just like SaksDutch Kid (Jan) said in his video last week ... [ We're Seeding - 07:10 ], Mike's channel is THE channel to watch on everything you want to know on seeding. spraying and stuff.
@@mikemitchell2554 You have a great channel Mike, all of the big farmer guys have already replied on your channel, I saw Tony Fast, Millennial Farmer, Welker Farms, Mike Less, Andy (Farming Fixing and Fabricating) and maybe more, they all know who Mike Mitchell is..... 😂
Man im a dairy farmer in New Zealand. Our farm is 170 hectares your farm is gigantic compared to ours. Love watching what you guys overseas do. I'd love to come over and drive tractors for a year cos I'd never get to drive a tractor that big in New Zealand.
It’s more of a bandaid, but 3M makes a window film that would help prevent the window from exploding in on you like the other one. It’s marketed under their “safety and security” lineup.
Usually if you put the tractor in neutral and come to a complete stop it will change gears when it’s cold, at least it works when I do it. Something to try I suppose!
Mike, I talked to my local supplier here in Europe. Looking at part numbers we found that there are different ones for NA and Europe for the windshield. You could get some shipped over to have on hand or change out as a precaution.
The last new tractor I drove was an 8440, back in 1982. The technology is incredible. It had three remotes. How I would like to drive something new again.
Great awesome video mike, of course mike would get gen 6 , everyone wants it lol , I would too , honestly that would be our main tractor for our dairy farm , only if I can persuade dad to try one , we are trying out many new tractors cause we are long over due for one , I think that last tractor we bought was back in early 1991 lol , now we are buying new equipment, since I’m taking over the dairy . Great tractor mike .
Hi from Ireland Mike, I believe the lines in the side window will be for the radio antenna or similar rather than a heated window, enjoying the videos.
mike have you tried putting some sort of window tint on your front windshield? I feel like you could get something very light and it would keep that glass from exploding on you. maybe even getting the outside tinted as well and basically laminating it all together
Pro tip 🙄🙄, when you press the neutral button and then change between high and low range why would you bother putting your foot on the clutch if you are stopped plus you can change from high to low on the move under 5 km it doesn't matter if it's warm or cold ,
It's funny that this 724 is used for "small" things. While for us, it would be the main working tractor. :D
We would have no use for it
For us it would actually be a bit to big😅
Litrally 100 more hp than our biggest one (150 acres)
@@zurirk farm sim is completely different than irl buddy.
Hahaha same
It's amazing the buttons and switches and tech in tractors these days. City folk don't know how boring their cars are!
I can’t tell you how blissful I feel looking at all those distant horizons and sky. It certainly stirs my soul. Hope it does yours too.
Fendt is like: "So. Dear farmers. We are starting to sell these new Fend.."

The lines on the side window looks more like an Antenna type system than a heating element.
I was just looking to see if anyone else thought that.
Yeah, the pattern didn't overly look suitable for heating and why not heat the windows on the right-hand side. That said, they could build antennas in the cab top or somewhere else and not obsecure vision. Would be good to find out.
In Canada we need heated windows in the winter
'These are the voyages of the Starship Fendterprise boldly going where no Mike has gone before''
Starship Fendterprise! Thats amazing lol
Ok, now that you have bought the entire stock of every tractor dealership in the east of Canada, we need an equipment tour.
I can just imagine Mike walking around a dealership: “I’m thinking maaaayyyybe I’d like a new toy. Wonder how my credit is at the moment.”
Dealership: “Yes.”
“Oh a new tractor you say?”
“Umm... yes sir”
“I’ll take 13 of them”
Definitely agree about the laminated glass. Had a windshield on a 927 fendt bust on me a month ago, glass everywhere!
1:52 the Faith Hope Farms sign at the top looks sick!
The visibility is incredible!
You can change gear by pressing clutch while staying still, when gearbox is cold!
The Fendt tractors look very impressive! Thanks for sharimg!
Hi Mike, thanks for the walk around. Really appreciate the time you put into these videos. Thankyou.

i agree on the laminated glass being standard ive seen so many front windows missing from tractors

Very nice! The left side window lines are most likely the radio antenna. No whip to rip off that way.

Fendt still makining the best looking tractors! Sweet
Hi the wire in the rear left hand window is the radio antenna
The lines on the left side window are antennas I guess. Otherwise they would have to be connected on both ends to conduct current.

Side widow is not heated the copper strips are aerials for the radio etc
when you step on the clutch, you can switch the gearbox even at low temperatures. The tractor has to Stand still.
