I'd give advice on how to find one of us but unfortunately I only go out when dogwalking, at work or heading to a forest in another region so I can actually have decent conversation for once. And during those times I only speak when spoken to or if I have business with a person (I mean dogwalking and at work - my journeys are actually to socialise with likeminded people). @@ParteniaAjmaq maybe they dont need to learn to adjust only to make themselves fit into their partner's standards by changing themselves but instead changing their attitude towards the needed comfortation style and finding a balance between the communication styles :) That means that maybe two different partners will need different styles of comfortation but each partner can learn to comfort the other by their needs, and finding a way to safely communicate their feelings and needs. Oh, marrying an ENFP means my struggles with low Ne and lacking random ideas during writing are solved, I have a constantly available brainstormer! Great! (also, awesome video as always)
@@sandymakesplansI don't know about ENFP. But as a fellow Ne dom, ENTP, my room is very clean and I hate people making my place messy. Probably came from my blind Se, I don't like seeing too many stuffs in my room, so I have countable things in my room, placed neatly in their assigned areas. And even files in my computer are very neatly categorized all the times. And actually, this behaviour of mine is viewed as inefficient by my INTJ's partner. Because I always put everything at their places right after I use them. For him, it'll cost me more time to finish my works.
From an INTJ, Many things the video got right: 1. I developed a code for interaction with a time traveled version of myself when I was in high school. 2. My apartments have been incredibly sparse for furniture (until I got a stable job as an adult) except for bookcases and a bed. (People were also amazed I did not own a toaster for much of my life.) 3. One of my deepest fears is the loss of my computer--mostly because that means that I would lose all my data I've been working on forever. This has happened a couple different times during my life and it is debilitating. 4. I would have been terrified when I was younger to be married to an extravert. However, having come to know ENFPs better now, I understand why having them in my life as an INTJ is beneficial. 5. Breaking the fourth wall: without the code given by a time traveled version of myself, I would think this is a trap or experiment. Things the video got wrong: 1. I would have never asked to know the future or how to time travel because I knew this would have created unstable paradoxes. It is not rubbish. 2. From a young age, I knew I wanted to be married but not until I was ready for it. 3. The first laptop I bought myself was named Mimir after the giant's head. Odin killed him and took his head to speak his knowledge while Odin traveled. (My phone was named Mercury, the messenger of the gods.) I did not have a Star Wars phase. Something halfway right: I have been called arrogant but I contest that I am not being arrogant, merely laying out the rational and empirical evidence available. Even as a mature INTJ, I can recognize that people hate bare facts.
"People hate bare facts" actually people hate when someone doesn't seem to think they could possibly ever be wrong, or could even be missing an important detail.
I have also been called arrogant many times in my life, once I was kicked out of study group, because I tried to prove that my reasoning is the right one (it was). I am married to extrovert - ESTJ and sincerely hope that our son will develop to be ENTJ.
You ARE arrogant, you just don't wanna be better than you already are, cause obviously you think you are the best already....! i am an intj too btw@@MarcusCaddock
Also INTJs: Hey! I never claimed in my life that I'm 'never wrong'! I just happen to (always) be right this time! It's the eternal paradox for me. I know I'm not always right, I can think of many times when I was wrong or only partly right, but anytime it's happened I needed time to process the fact that I was wrong because my thinking is too rigid, so for an outside observer it seems like I never can admit that I'm wrong when really it just happens when I'm alone after the conversation has ended
Doesn't have anything to do with your MBTI type. Almost everyone is guilty of saying this atleast once or twice. "See? I'm never wrong. See? I'm always right." You're nothing special.
I love this video concept! I'm an older INFJ, and I don't really fit the stereotypes anymore, so I find this relatable. The older person with life experience who has developed their third and fourth functions giving advice to their younger self, with all the little Easter eggs included - it's genius.
The "setting up a home line got me!" A while back an ISFJ and I were reading "table topics" cards together and one question was: What makes a house a home? Her: "the pictures on walls, the feeling of comfort and belonging, the smells..." Me: "people living inside it." Also, I love open space so the lack of furniture is spot on. Plain black shirt and plain white shirt...my two go-to articles of clothing. Well done, Kristin (as usual)!
I think people often exaggerare INTJ females, if theyre really close to you theyre actually really nice and caring, just not in the nursing way and theyre actually really brutally honest and straightforward but assertive and intelligent
INTJs are actually sweethearts. They might be harmful for some people but I always feel at ease with them. I still remember the time when I had a panic attack and my INTJ's friend stayed with me calming me down with a vivid concern. I'm thankful towards her until this day eventhough we're not that close. And I met two more INTJs now in my life. One as a normal guy friend in my workplace and another one is my special partner. Although they might be a bit different in personalities, I still like them very much. Very endearing and smart enough to not upset me with stupid conversations, remarks, or actions in everyday lives. I feel calm around them no matter how dark they can be sometimes. From an ENTP ❤️.
As a 30 yr-old INTJ, this is eerily SPOT ON what I'd tell my younger self!!! Though, I'd throw in some stock tips, an overview of Bitcoin price movements, a warning on the dismal state of the real estate market, and a list of world events to look out for. Also, I'd leave out the part about marrying an ENFP. I've instead "succeeded" in remaining single and instead became my own ENFP to some degree. WHAT HAVE I DONE?!?!!! 😭😂😭😭😭

(INTJ) Not much hyperbole here. This is scary accurate for me. As JustCallMeJon said "a socialized INTJ is an optimized INTJ". Or something like that. Also the younger INTJ is probably miserable inside because of their habits and probably doesn't know it.
Just got to the ENFP marriage reveal/reaction and that just iced the cake!😂 As an ENFP who has found my closest friendships among NTJs, I can assure the young INTJ that we can grow on them and much mutual enjoyment of intuitive romps can ensue! ❤
Same! Same! Same!! Everything same here! He would never seek this out. But why does he need to when he knows I will and show him. 😉 He might eye roll but deep down… he probably eye rolls … but he will probably laugh at the ending.
You have a really good (imo) perception of INTJs and their weaknesses and hidden side! I think this is because you're an ESFP, you have the same valued functions but in reverse. You talk about struggling to get INFJs right (well, struggling isn't the right word, but ykwim). If you wanted to make a similar video for the INFJ, I think the answer is clear-recruit an ExTP 😏 (an ESTP would be ideal for pointing out sensory development (like how you told the INTJ to get some damn furniture), but as you're already Se-base, you've got that covered). Like the INTJ's "hidden agenda" is Fi, giving them very (N?)FP moments like naming their laptop, the IxFJ's hidden agenda is Ti. Similar to how Fi is very present and important to the INTJ but kept very... well, hidden (hidden agenda), Ti is important to the IFJ, and a future self "developed" with the help of an ETP would be able to similarly call out that Ti. Of course, no pressure, just a bunch of Ti rambling 😂
video idea: The 16 personality when they think nobody is watching them (But don't make it obvious. This an opportunity to explore the less dominant functions again, like in the video with the angels) video idea: The 16 personalities cooking food (which dish fits which personality?) video idea: The 16 personalities switching roles for a week (video format: 8 conversations in a tv show setting between two personalities for each convo. they meet for the first time after having switched places for a week. They are happy to be back in their familiar roles, curious to ask questions about things they did not get about the other persons setup, scared to admit what changes they made and so much more.)
I actually did literally make lists of people who annoyed me... and those lists were long. Also, I keep remembering things from when I was young just floating to the top of my memory every so often and I just end up cringing. Advice for my past self: make sure someone or something is actually the person/thing you imagine them to be before committing to a future idea/vision with them. The issue with that is those experiences were formative and, in a morbid way, enlightening and I don't think I'd have the same understanding of the world and the nature of evil without them. Effectively, I'd be telling my younger self to Se more. Marriage to an ENFP, or INFP, is... acceptable.
“the world moves faster than your plans” This exact phrase sums up everything I learned from my upbringing, I was raised by an ESTP dad and an INFP mom. The most impulsive set of parents and dealing with that FORCED me into clicking with my lesser functions. I like to think of myself as the laziest INTJ because 90% is more convenient to me than 99%.
Oh I love this! This feels like a conversation in my head, my now me talking to the underlaying stubborn old me holding on to old principles, not wanting to let go
INTJ here: I was high baked watching this and it was a pretty insane experience watching myself watch kristin expose my daily daily mental routine for 5 min.
The social skills hit hard. As younger INTJ, I tried to navigate the world with complete disregard to social conventions. I thought changing would be selling myself out. Later on I accepted that humans are social beings and our societies are heavily structured based on that. So now I play nice but I love the reactions when my real thoughts slip out.
As a maturing INTJ, I've basically given up on the idea that I could even plan 3 months ahead, let alone 30 years ahead like I used to think. I still think 30 years years ahead, but its so that I can brace for impact when I am inevitably unprepared for whats coming. I will also never stop referencing Star Wars and looking for my ENFP unicorn. I've realized its folly to try and "grow up". We are all childish, regardless of personality type.
It was very fun to watch, as always, and this might not be relevant but I find the entire script is so clearly-written and easy to understand, that I think it could actually be helpful for those who are learning English, like myself. 👍🏻
i feel so called out and i need to see this for other types. i love how it's still an intj who just understands the necessity of other functions instead of 'changing types' whatever that means.
As an INTP (5w6 for Enneagram enthusiasts), I relate to the INTJs, specifically the younger one. I relate to the older INTJ saying “What if your plans fail” because I can’t be sure that everything will work out.

woah, i recently took a personality test and my mom was intj and my dad was enfp, like really! is it like a coincidence or is there something that draws those two personality types to each other?

I'm an ENFP but around 20 I was exactly like the young INTJ, like damn. Except maybe just tech-interested, not outright into hacking. Used to test as INTJ too.

I think I saw this recommended in the comments, nice! Also I like how your different characters always look the same so that's why she doesn't recognize her future self (I thought of this just before 0:24 when you acknowledged it).

I have traveled in time. Last summer, I traveled from Las Vegas, Nevada to Aukland, New Zealand. Going there was traveling eight hours into the future. It took 13 hours to get there, but I spent 90% of the flight sleeping, daydreaming or reading - all of which make time fly by, so it felt like it took less than three hours. When we landed, it was like traveling into the future because it was 6 AM Friday when we left L.A. and it was 5 PM Friday L.A. time when we landed, but it was 2 PM on Saturday Aukland time. I called my dad and said "Greetings from the future." My body was so messed up and it took days to get used to the new time schedule. We were in New Zealand for three weeks. By the time we flew back to L.A. I was sort of used to NZ time, so going back in time to LA was a tough adjustment all over again. If time travel across years was possible, I'd want it to be sort of like Quantum Leap where your body stays in the present it is used to, but your mind traveled forward or backward in time. That would be easier to cope with. This video is very funny!

Life is strange sometimes.
@@iwa2028 I just began sleeping on the floor, as it used to be my favorite place to sleep as a child. It is supposed to be good for your back (with padding). I was thinking of getting rid of my bed. Interesting.
As an INTJ married to a ENFJ, I approve and wonder how this unplanned aspect of my life happened...
I know how it happened: you a man she a woman you click and there you have it! Basic human nature it is my friend 😝
Now you just need to further the line of smarty pants of this world, otherwise there will be horrible complete Sensor domination in near future and no fun no more 😨
With love an enfp who already managed to procreate with an intj - 😅😆
Hint: they multiplyyyyyy 😂💙💙🎉
INTJ and ENFJ? Wow you guys must haeve amazing communication cuz Fe is your blind spot and Te is the ENFJ demon function :O. I think the Ni probably helps tho
Thats so good . Healthy Enfj very good nurturing people also nurturing intj .
Healthy Enfj very tough and independent .
i like enfjs
I love this entire concept, my younger INFJ self would have A LOT to say to my current self! 😁
Does UA-cam allow videos that go on for days or even weeks? 🤣
Agreed! My 41 year old INFJ self has a LOTR to say to my 21 year old INFJ self!
What kind of stuff would you say? Go to sport, meet people on Internet, be more confident in yourself?
Mine would probably start "You're not actually an INTJ like you thought. You're depressed and are repressing your feelings and you need to learn to express them if you ever want to have healthy romantic relationships."
Thanks, I needed to hear that.
Sometimes I feel like a Ti dom with emotions
-INFJ
2:04 "They won't" is the only appropriate answer, young Intj, I am proud of you. Don't listen to her
Hahahaha
Things are born twice. First in the mind, second in the real world. -entj
I'm a 37-year-old INTJ, and ALL of the social/people skills advice older INTJ gave to their younger selves is VALID. Learn how to let go (meaning don't be so guarded, reserved, and withdrawn) and make friends (because, yes, you'll need people) . It's been truly rewarding to sense more of a balance between my cognitive functions and my social life. EXCELLENT WORK, KRISTEN! ❤
However, with all due respect, I am NOT marrying an ENFP. ✌🏽
Your loss, ENFPs are extremely hot
@@EresirThe1stOh thank you! You're making me blush 😄❤
P.S. my intj is very well fed with delicious foods made from scratch, usually prepared with home grown ingredients. We moved from big city to nature where he now cycles through mountains and forests, he got to travel because of my influence and enjoys being a dad very much. He is deeply loved and appreciated as he is plus the deep talks and all the "conspiracy theoris" enfps actually understand and are aware of. So he says he is zufrieden very much 😊💙💙💙
Just sayin! We're also very loyal, devoted, passionate and fun!
One problem the p is my problem.
why not
@@lastraven7205 I have nothing against ENFPs. What I'm highly against are these so-called "golden pairs." INTJ/ENFP, ENTJ/INFJ, INFP/ENFJ, and the like are stereotypical and unimpressive reasonings. I think any type can be compatible with any other based on past experiences, equal core values, and shared goals.
As an ENFP who is looking for an INTJ soulmate i am literally through the roof-
I'd give advice on how to find one of us but unfortunately I only go out when dogwalking, at work or heading to a forest in another region so I can actually have decent conversation for once. And during those times I only speak when spoken to or if I have business with a person (I mean dogwalking and at work - my journeys are actually to socialise with likeminded people). Otherwise I just avoid people where possible. Can't speak for every INTJ, but probably best looking online and see if one happens to be from your area.
says "soulmate" ... means provider and supporter. 😂
@@Azdaja13 lmao thank you for trying atleast, and i will definitely take it into account when im a little bit older and ready to date :D
@@loveablestrangerBeing friends is beautiful experience, but honestly it's hard in reality to have romantic relationship with INTJ, possible only if both are open towards adjusting, ENFP have developed TE, and INTJ FI, and both parties would enjoy having separate lifestyles most of the time, and ENFP wouldn't have much needs for emotional support. ~ ENFP
@@ParteniaAjmaq maybe they dont need to learn to adjust only to make themselves fit into their partner's standards by changing themselves but instead changing their attitude towards the needed comfortation style and finding a balance between the communication styles :)
That means that maybe two different partners will need different styles of comfortation but each partner can learn to comfort the other by their needs, and finding a way to safely communicate their feelings and needs.
What really is needed in this relationship is maturity from both sides.
I NEVER want to meet a future me. They’d just be incredibly smug about knowing things I don’t.
Oh, marrying an ENFP means my struggles with low Ne and lacking random ideas during writing are solved, I have a constantly available brainstormer! Great! (also, awesome video as always)
to me, it would mean constant distractions and being the only one who can manage to keep the house clean
@@sandymakesplans ENFP are not necessarily messy just like all INTJ are not necessarily neat. You should know this?
@@sandymakesplansI don't know about ENFP. But as a fellow Ne dom, ENTP, my room is very clean and I hate people making my place messy. Probably came from my blind Se, I don't like seeing too many stuffs in my room, so I have countable things in my room, placed neatly in their assigned areas. And even files in my computer are very neatly categorized all the times.
And actually, this behaviour of mine is viewed as inefficient by my INTJ's partner. Because I always put everything at their places right after I use them. For him, it'll cost me more time to finish my works.
From an INTJ,
Many things the video got right:
1. I developed a code for interaction with a time traveled version of myself when I was in high school.
2. My apartments have been incredibly sparse for furniture (until I got a stable job as an adult) except for bookcases and a bed. (People were also amazed I did not own a toaster for much of my life.)
Things the video got wrong:
Something halfway right:
I have been called arrogant but I contest that I am not being arrogant, merely laying out the rational and empirical evidence available. Even as a mature INTJ, I can recognize that people hate bare facts.
i used to want to get married, but it's the last thing on my mind now. i don't want it at all.
"People hate bare facts" actually people hate when someone doesn't seem to think they could possibly ever be wrong, or could even be missing an important detail.
@@sarahberkner No. People hate being wrong so much they would rather facts about reality to be lies rather than change themselves to fit truth.
INTJs: I'm never wrong.
Also INTJs: Why does everyone call me 'arrogant'?
@@justsomenobody889 Isso acabou de acontecer comigo kkkkkkkkkk
Completely agree.

I LOVE THIS CONCEPT!!! The start being like a horror film aaaaa so good already
I was waiting for the stock tips and was surprisingly disappointed.
AHH but what is there to suggest to you that this universe even HAS bitcoin?
Lil advice... once you find your purpose, you'll know what to do with your money. And nobody makes it to the top alone, not saying you can't. You'll just be hella tired once you get there, or worse, dead from all the stress.
I loved that ending so much
The good ol' INTJ and ENFP ship
This was sheer perfection, also where did you actually record this?
Like did you take out all the furniture because you're moving house? Or was it not in your house?
Thanks Crayon! This is my new house :)

This was brilliant on so many levels!
Just got to the ENFP marriage reveal/reaction and that just iced the cake!😂

Eeee! So good. As an enfp I can’t wait to show this to my intj husband. There will be definite eye-rolling but also I know he secretly relishes it 😂

This writing and acting is incredible.
Computer betrayal! The horror!
Beyond brilliant, and spot on. I couldn't have said it better myself. Now stop reading my mind.
"getting married!?"
video idea: The 16 personality when they think nobody is watching them
(But don't make it obvious. This an opportunity to explore the less dominant functions again, like in the video with the angels)
video idea: The 16 personalities cooking food
(which dish fits which personality?)
video idea: The 16 personalities switching roles for a week
(video format: 8 conversations in a tv show setting between two personalities for each convo. they meet for the first time after having switched places for a week. They are happy to be back in their familiar roles, curious to ask questions about things they did not get about the other persons setup, scared to admit what changes they made and so much more.)
The ENFP comment got me 😂😂😂
I actually did literally make lists of people who annoyed me... and those lists were long.
Marriage to an ENFP, or INFP, is... acceptable.
I just realised reading this that my list was my block list, and it was long, and I used to look at it fondly.
@@zarlashtkhan3740 Yeah, mine's massive. xD
“the world moves faster than your plans”
This exact phrase sums up everything I learned from my upbringing, I was raised by an ESTP dad and an INFP mom. The most impulsive set of parents and dealing with that FORCED me into clicking with my lesser functions. I like to think of myself as the laziest INTJ because 90% is more convenient to me than 99%.
😂Lol “you cried the first time you watch Shrek.” 0:37
Oh I love this! This feels like a conversation in my head, my now me talking to the underlaying stubborn old me holding on to old principles, not wanting to let go
At least the INTJ realizes that everyone in the Universe is the same person.
INTJ here: I was high baked watching this and it was a pretty insane experience watching myself watch kristin expose my daily daily mental routine for 5 min.
"You are from the future?! Plz tell me which stock to buy!!"
I bet it was the ISTJ who invented the time machine.
Me and my older sister are both INTJs and this just feels like her trying to give me a reality check- I swear we’ve had this conversation before

"Oh, that's right, I named everything after Star Wars at the time..."
I feel called out.
