  • We're spending a full summer day on Grouse Mountain in Vancouver, British Columbia. We're starting our day with a hike up the challenging Grouse Grind, then we're doing some activities at the top of the mountain including the Grouse Zip Line and Mountain Ropes Adventure. We're also visiting the grizzly bears, watching the Birds in Flight show, and walking around the grounds.

Love it! We hope you have a wonderful hike. Grouse gets busy on the weekends and it usually less busy in the early morning.

The Mountain Ropes Adventure looks so fun. My son is interested in trying it out. Does the video capture the Green level? And would it be too hard for a 13Y boy?

It’s a lot of fun and a great family activity! The first few obstacles we showed were on the green level. I believe the minimum age for most of the course is 8 years old, and there are minimum height requirements as well. The details are listed here: www.grousemountain.com/mountain-ropes-adventure?gad=1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIveO1ssqegAMVjQytBh1DKwQlEAAYASAAEgIDoPD_BwE

I didn't know Grouse had so much to do. May have to go there and check it out. But the Grind will not be the way I will go up. Lol. Sometimes you forget how many things there are to do near where you live.

Totally agree! We tend to look past all the great stuff we have around us.
Make sure to look for local prices and passes as they can be a lot less expensive.

Does admission to the Mountain include the rope course and zip line?

We have a locals annual pass to Grouse that we bought at the start of the season at a discount. Everything we did that day was included with the pass.
