Probably the best Vancouver explained video I've seen. A couple things I would add would be a day trip to Bowen Island (you get to take a ferry!), Steveston in Richmond, or White Rock in Surrey. There is also a lot of great Indian food, such as Vijs and East is East.
The water taxi connects all the small islands like Granville to mainland Vancouver and waterfront has a great promenade. Bowen Island offers a great day trip by ferry on a sunny day!
how could you miss Japadog?! it was my favorite place to eat. We went to a few fancy places while we were there, I couldnt remember any of those. But Japadog! Japadog is life.
I love the fact that here in Vancity, I can have a white Christmas and it all melt away on the same day, resuming raincouver, which means staying dry inside with a nice warm tea and catching up with work lol Btw, where the Chinese food at? Chinese food is the shit, like it’s the best in North America.
@@woulddrow540 top dim sum places: 1. Western Lake 2. Red Star 3. Neptune Group There’s also Korean bbq, Happy Sheep Mongolian, sushi is limited but we got fresh water fish and salmon season, there’s first dessert, Crystal Mall food court, there’s also home cooking like pre-made soup prep you find at t&t for like $16 at the meat section, but try cooking freshly caught fish and crabs in your nearby river or lake or sea. Get a license though or a friend who can. Lol.
Vancouver born native here - very nice video that covers the major sites & sights in succinct overview. But you only covered the major most popular places - meanwhile the best places in Vancouver are the more secret spots known by locals.
Third Beach Spanish Banks and Wreck Beach are some of the best beaches in Vancouver I would have also mentioned them. Also you will never find milk sold in bags in Vancouver
Meet on Main, Chickpea, Aleph Eatery, The Naam are all excellent but most restaurants provide a vegan mini menu here, unless it's specifically states it doesn't.
Awesome video as alway! Have you ever thought of adding a shopping section to the videos? I suppose that would make the videos longer / mess with algorithms, but could be fun
I have thought of that, but I’ve decided to base the list off of things I’d actually do and have done myself. Although there’s malls and markets I’ve mentioned before, but could sprinkle in some cool retail and even groceries I’ve been to
Great video and very informative. Planning a summer cruise leaving from Vancouver. Now we know what we should do. Any recommendations on where to stay or not stay? I like how you divided your videos in sections. For sure we need to visit the Lebanese food area. 😊 We took a lot of notes. If I may ask, which video camera and editing software you like using? I like the filming quality. I recently started my cooking channel. Just using my iPhone for recording. Thanks again. I will also look at your anchorage video in a day or so.
Great vid on Vancouver. I also see you have a decent video on Toronto. The other Canadian cities that I recommend to check out would be Montreal, Halifax and St John's Newfoundland
Amazing how people in these medium sized cities get so excited about a 30 story building that "might" get constructed. You need to go visit Vancouver. There are probably 20 high rises of 40 stories or taller being built in Vancouver and in about 10 suburbs. Every suburb has a skyline that would tower over that of Omaha and Des Moines.
Wow ive never seen Jodys serious scared face 😜, Lol jodys face 👀 😂😂😂 Weiner what where 😳 lmao Man ive missed u guys , soooo happy to catch up 🤗 Happy to see u had great servise in Camada ☺️ Get ready to be cattled , line ups line ups line ups 😜.
I'm only through the first couple of minutes but this is quite wrong. Logging didn't 'fall off' as an industry after GranvilleVancouver was founded OR after the railway was built (some time later). I hope it gets better.
we must talk about the price of attractions in Vancouver which are excessively expensive. If you are a family of 4 or 5 people you are going to break the bank because it is really very expensive and that is a shame. it's very expensive and the city is full of drug users everywhere which makes the stay very unpleasant.
Overrated city with a lot of issues : crimes the highest in Canada , homeless , drugs , wildfires , 50 % asian , expensive , lack of knowledge about Canadian culture, history it rains 8 months per year And a boring city for night life
I'm so sorry for Canada. Most things about a good Canada are not true, Including clean cities - beaches, and forests. It's a big lie. The first time I arrived in Vancouver in 2018, I was shocked. As soon as I left the airport door, I saw tissue, disposable glasses, and other garbage left in the city. The further I went, the more I saw them. Before I moved to Canada, I lived in Georgia, Armenia, Turkey, Serbia, The United States, and for a short time in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Netherlands, Germany, and England, but I have never seen the amount of garbage that people leave in different Canadian cities. Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, and Quebec are no less than Vancouver. Canadian and Canada Governments don't care about this tragedy. I think everything that says about Canada as a clean and powerful culture is not true. You don't need to travel to Canada to see this. Just watch some videos about walking in downtown Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, and Quebec. You will find the truth. Impossible for you to walk in a Canadian city and you don't see the dark side of that. Everywhere you will see garbage. You will never see this in Europe, Australia, the United States, Japan, and Korea. This amount of waste is not even seen in Malaysian, Indonesian, or Thailand cities. It is impossible for you to use public transport and not see a lot of garbage at stations or on the route. You will be surprised to find a lot of garbage even in the woods - by the rivers and on the beaches in Canada. I wish the Canadians woke up and had no enmity with their country. To be fair, I randomly looked at videos from downtown Manchester and Concord in New Hampshire - Philadelphia - Detroit - Chicago - New York - Baltimore - Denver - Nashville, and Knoxville in the United States, and Toronto - Quebec - Montreal - Winnipeg - Calgary - Vancouver - Victoria - Ottawa and Thunder Bay in Canada. we should be fair. The bitter truth must be accepted. Without any exaggeration. Completely impartial. I have to say that I didn't see a single piece of garbage in any of the US videos to convince myself. Without exaggeration, in all Canadian cities, there must have been a piece of garbage on the ground less than every hundred meters. It must have an important reason. I do not know. But this is a bitter truth. You can try. This country should be brought closer to its exaggerated claim. the truth is bitter. Certainly, some Asian countries such as Japan, South Korea, Singapore, and even Malaysia are much cleaner compared to Canada. Of course, we should not forget that Canada claims to be one of the 10 cleanest countries in the world. And Vancouver claims to be one of the 5 cleanest cities in the world. Please go to East Hastings or Victoria Drive or Commercial Drive or West Georgia or Broadway or Main Street and judge for yourself. I am 50 years old and have traveled to 26 countries. Canada is far from its claims. I saw, homeless people, pooping and peeing everywhere and it's so common. nobody cares. I was shocked again. I endured for 3 years but every day going worst. late in 2022, I decided to move to the east because I thought that place has a stronger culture. I chose Montreal. I had heard it is the capital of art and civilization in Canada. it was absolutely wrong. Canada is Canada. I was shocked again, again, and again. the wave of homelessness, graffiti, vandalism, bad smell, terrible infrastructure especially roads in or out of the city, and above all, you can see trash everywhere. plastic bags, tissues, water bottles, and disposable cups. You cannot see any street or park or public place without these. This is impossible. surprisingly nobody cares. neither the people nor the government!!!!!!! please, don't be fooled by the advertisement about a good Canada. please, be careful. most of the things about a good Canada are deception This country is disappointing. Please, Please, Please, don't immigrate to Canada you would regret it absolutely. this is not a developed country, Canada is a developing country with huge serious problems. 😊
Wow wonderful video, best I see and I have watched a lot as I’m traveling to Vancouver next year. Thanks for the great advice!
Awesome video! I came across your video since I’ll be in Vancouver next month. Love how you incorporated Google earth with each location.

Hey which ones are those? Would love to know more places to explore. Thank you
what a good video! Every damn detail covered!
Highly recommend the Cleveland Dam in North Vancouver.
Great video!

Are there any good recommendations for vegan / plant base restaurants in Vancouver BC or surrounding area ?Thanks in advance.

I do not like all that food-"advertisement" in your post. so selective and personal and paid for....
Yeah that’s the point, also I WISH these amazing restaurants paid me 😅
