Thank you, probably one of the best tutorials for getting the YN560-TX synced up with the YN560 IV and explaining the different functions such as channels, groups, mode, and zoom.
You are a lifesaver... thank you! Was fussing with this for an hour until I found your video and could clearly see the proper settings in the displays and with you clear explanations finally got it back up
Thanks for the excellent tutorial. UPS just delivered three 560 IV's and one 560-TX and I appreciate your covering their use. Your excellent presentation is the best I've seen on this product. Looking forward to what you have to share on controlling multiple 560's.
Tom Irwin I may put together a video on that later on, if you have any specifics, let me know.. also, when you need more of them. www.yongnuousa.net is my website!!
Finally! A tutorial that is both clear and thorough. Man, I weeded through some crappy vids before finally finding yours. Thanks so much for creating great online content.
Thank you so much! I spent the better part of today trying to get these synced...five videos and one great big headache later...I found your's and got them working within 5 minutes!!! So appreciative!
I can't thank you enough for creating and sharing this video! I could not figure out how to get these working together and was super frustrated! I really appreciate your clear instructions. Wishing you all the best
Great teacher, very easy to follow - Please keep helping us out here in Professional Photography land helped me from having to read the instructions all night to figure it out. I will be using this during a wedding this weekend, you have made the process that easy I'm not afraid.....THANK YOU THANK YOU AND THANK YOU again. I'll let you know how things worked out.
Thank you so much for your tutorial. I have wreck my brain trying to figure out the instruction that came with both of the device and I couldn't make heads or tail about it. I've listen to other youTube tutorila and still they didn't make sense. I've called B&H, Glazer's in Seattle and asked several professional photogrpahers and not one of them knows as well as you did. Your tutorial helped me a great deal, thank you.
Hi... you mentioned that you would be putting a video up using the Yongnuo 560-IV on camera and controlling other 560-IV flashes off camera.... Would love to see it!
I was searching around online to find a reason why my 560III stopped communicating with my 560TX suddenly after 2 years and a dozen weddings. I found another video that helped because your video does not mention it and wanted to let you know. On the TX.....very important that the HZ/FN button (hold down and use l-r) is at the same freq as the flashes. Somehow mine got changed between my last shoot (from 3 to 2) in Nov and a New Years Day shoot in my camera bag. Strange but it happened. Basically my tx frequency didn't match the flashes and communication stopped between the 2.
Gracias, no sabía cómo configurar el disparador y el Flash y a pesar que tu vídeo está en un idioma distinto al mío se me a hecho muy fácil poder configurarlo. Gracias
Thanks for this demo. Can you also adjust the flash power on the flash unit when using the YN560-TX controller, or can you only set the power at the camera on the controller? Sometimes I'm triggering remotely using a CamRanger while I'm standing by the flash unit, away from the camera which is on a tripod and I'd like to be able to adjust the power at the flash.
My second and I have our own flashes. We are sometimes setting each other's flashes off even when on different channels, and also having guests cameras setting them off as well. Changing the channel helped with the guests, but it's touch and go as to whether or not we are still setting off each others. Any tips?
Writing an article on this subject. I was listening in background. Did you show the activate process for the YN 560 iii? Out of the box the flashes aren't set up with the group function.
Thanks for the video. I got an issue with mine, apparently. The blue light on the flashes stays on ALL THE TIME. I thought it was only supposed to come on when making an adjustment, but for my flash guns, the blue light stays on all the time! It doesn't seem to affect the performance of the flash, and the batteries don't seem to wear down any quicker. But I just want to make sure this doesn't mean there is any problem with my 560 TX transmitter. Aside from this strange behavior, I love this system. Easy - Effective - Affordable
heysalsaguy I am glad they are working for you! I will have to look into it a bit to see if there have been other instances.. if you end up needing more.. www.yongnuousa.net
Question please: If i take the YN560-TX off the camera and press "test" flash button ... will it trigger the other flashes This would be useful as i could take the YN560-TX off the camera and walk up to subject with my sekonic light meter, trigger the flash and not need a sync cord plugged in This would be a good work around for Nikon D500
Great video, quick question. Will i need to have receivers attached to each YN 560iii/iv in order to use them with YN 560-TX or can everything be done wirelessly through the grouping?
+tpaynephoto Is there a way to activate group mode on Version 3 without a 560 tx? I am asking because I have a yongnuo 600 ex rt and want to control the power of my 560 v3
How would I set it so that I can use the 560 iv for on camera bounce and then controll a 560 iii using the 560 iv and to be able to controll the power levels independently for each flash.?
I'm still having no luck syncing my Fuji X Pro1 with my YN660s I bought from you. I have tried cleaning the hotshoe contacts, wiggling the 560tx in the camera hotshoe, and yes, even scratching the contacts to remove any paint. The comments show that the 560tx is universal, so it should work on Fuji cameras, so I must have something set wrong with the flash units, or perhaps the camera. is there still a possibility of making a new video with the 560tx and the YN660 flashes? I am not trying to be a pain, but I have had these units now for going on 3 months with no answers, I either need help, or perhaps, a refund. Thanks.
Hi Thanks for this great review. I have the same setup but i am having a small problem and I hope you could kindly help me. when I use the multi mode just on the YN560 IV it works, ie. 5x10 5 flashes in 10 hertz, but when I do the same from the YN560 TX in multi mode only one flash happens. I am using Channel 1 and Group A for both Manual and Multi. Can you help me to fix this problem please ?
hello! I'm fairly new to speedlights and I just want to know if I get the 560 TX I won't be needing to purchase a PocketWizard Plus X to fire off my 560 IVs off-camera? Oh, and this video is super informative. thank you!
What if I have a 560-tx on my canon 5dmiii, triggering to a 560iv, would it be possible to also trigger to a canon 580ex flash? If so, which transmitter would I need to put on the 580ex?
ello.. i have 2 yn560 vi and one of those is 1 year old. i just bought th 560 tx. i been trying to Connect both 560 vi to TX but the old one doesn't Connect :( any sugestión? thanks
Hey need help !! .. I have the same setup as you have here .. my flash works only when I’m using the eyepiece but when I switch to live view my flash won’t work 🤔🤔 I don’t get it any idea why ??
hi in my canon 80 D Does not synchronize well, fires one with flash and the next shot does not. The control and flash sync well, but when I get it with my camera, it does not fire the flash. sorry for my bad english
I have a canon 70d and recently purchased a YN560-TX and two YN560-IV. I have the transmitter synced to the flashes but when I put the transmitter on camera it doesn't trigger. I've tried resetting, cleaning hot shoes and everything I can think of but it still won't work. Please Help?
Thank you, probably one of the best tutorials for getting the YN560-TX synced up with the YN560 IV and explaining the different functions such as channels, groups, mode, and zoom.

I'm way behind on videos, I apologize. I'm hoping to have some time soon to get caught up.
Thanks so much!
God bless you always
thank you very much brother you saved my life
Had mine set up last night for an event. I was able to change the settings using the trigger, but when I’d take a shot no flash.
Many thanks kind sir!
That was very helpful Thank you.❤

Will YN560 TX ii on a Canon body control remote speed lite YN560 IV on Canon?
Great job in explaining. and no music.
Thank you. You made easy to understand.
Did you miss the link up..pressing zoom and function button on tx

Has the controller the plastic foot like the flash? Has it got in the package when you buy it?

Great video, quick question. Will i need to have receivers attached to each YN 560iii/iv in order to use them with YN 560-TX or can everything be done wirelessly through the grouping?
+Michael norman no trigger is needed. They are built into the 560iii/iv and communicate easily with the 560-tx
Hi great tutorial, I have a question. Will the 560tx work with older YN speedlights attached to the 603ii transmitter?
+Gary Murray it will trigger the 603 but it will not control them.
Thanks for the video! Am I correct in stating that the 560-III has to be changed manually vs being adjusted by the TX?
+Darryl Moore no the 560 V3 can be adjusted by the 560TX
+Darryl Moore you just have to activate group mode on the 560III and it can be adjusted by the 560-tx remotely.
+tpaynephoto Is there a way to activate group mode on Version 3 without a 560 tx? I am asking because I have a yongnuo 600 ex rt and want to control the power of my 560 v3
+Shakil Mahbub Hussain you can not control the 560ii with a 600ex-rt. you can only control it with the 560-tx controller or a 560iv speedlight.
+tpaynephoto sorry, 560iii, not 560ii... typo
Are those tools compatible with canon rebel t6i (750D) ?
How would I set it so that I can use the 560 iv for on camera bounce and then controll a 560 iii using the 560 iv and to be able to controll the power levels independently for each flash.?

Excellent video, thank you very much.
What if I have a 560-tx on my canon 5dmiii, triggering to a 560iv, would it be possible to also trigger to a canon 580ex flash? If so, which transmitter would I need to put on the 580ex?

What Multi mood do?
+Saeed Ahmad Multi mode allows for several pulses of flash during a long exposure...
Thanks, I got it, I am waiting from my Yongnuo 560TX and 4 Flash, may need more help with that.
How to enable flash groups?
I have a canon 70d and recently purchased a YN560-TX and two YN560-IV. I have the transmitter synced to the flashes but when I put the transmitter on camera it doesn't trigger. I've tried resetting, cleaning hot shoes and everything I can think of but it still won't work. Please Help?
