The intro scream is quite a fun little technique where you actually produce the sound by inhaling instead of exhaling. 😅
Sounds like a Nazgûl from the lord of the rings 😂
He did it for years and did it the right way as to not hurt his throat. He has talked about how he did it in interviews.
He was a human sound effects machine. He did different sound effects for each concert so that each concert was unique.
Ohh i like this :D
Live In Texas came out when i was in middle school. It was gifted to me by a friend and quite literally changed my musical life. 😂 I was alllll pop until this. So nostalgic.
Same
This is my fave live performance of this song because it has the clearest audio.
Damnit this performance is so fantastic, the energy!
You can feel the energy 😀
@@SephPlays It's so infectious, my heart always gets pumping watching this, even if I'm just sitting down 😂
Have you got a favourite of theirs?
@@SephPlays A favourite Linkin Park song? That's a tough choice. Songs like "Crawling" and "Papercut" are dear to me because I was able to relate to them at a time when I felt very alone as a teenager struggling with mental health issues I didn't understand or had words for. "The Messenger" is a song that I'm awed by for it's emotional rawness and meaning, but it's effect if definitely best felt as the closing song on the album A Thousand Suns, it's such a stunning experience getting to it after listening to the rest of that album, especially after the chaos that is "The Catalyst".
If I HAD to pick a favourite overall, it would be "Waiting For The End". It has that classic Linkin Park anthem sound, while still feeling really fresh and different. The lyrics are beautifully written, the production on the song is stellar, Chester's vocals are some of his most beautiful, and Mike's parts have a really unique flow for this band. It's just got that whole package, you know?
@@ancatdal Im so glad that i still have a lot more to look forward to. And I'm definitely going to come back to this conversation when i start to hear these songs 😀
Thank you Ancatdal 😊
That’s iconic Chester jump
the reason he is so sweaty is that the vocal techniques Chester uses are VERY intense.
There is a ton of core engagement in order to keep and create the pressure needed to create the sounds he does safely. It's actually a lot of fun when you learn how to do it, and you are sweating in minutes when you figure it out.
it hurt your throat because you are doing it wrong, you need to make the sound much lower.
Try making a low gurgling sound by relaxing your throat, that's the start, you can do it quietly then slowly bring the volume up!
Learn about it before trying, you can hurt your voice if you do it wrong too much, it but do try!
The Best LP!!!!
Oh, my request...thank you 😁
I feel like you are ready for tallah. Singer is very inspired by chester. Really unique vocals. Interesting instrumentals. No band is like them.

Not a fan of 90’s rock alternative stuff at all.
Good thing this isn't from the 90's!
@@stephaniewade2973 just these types of hard alternative artists. I can’t.
@@djkenny1202 so you just don't like LP? Is that what you mean? Well, them and others like them?
You're definitely entitled to your opinion, they just happen to be my all time favorite band since I first heard them in 2001. Although they're different genres, my 2 actual faves are LP and Matchbox Twenty. And may I just ask what kind of music you do listen to?
@@stephaniewade2973 depeche, new order, erasure, cure, smiths. I find Modern alternative often very bland. Not really very unique.
@@djkenny1202 I like Depeche Mode and The Cure is ok. I loved the one song that I know by Erasure but I can't even think of what it is (sorry) and I don't even know the other groups I'm afraid but as I said before we each have our opinions on what we consider good music. I didn't think about Depeche Mode and Chester Bennington was actually influenced by them as well as Metallica and STP and others. Anyway, it's nice knowing others true opinions on music, that's why I watch these reactions.
