My ABSOLUTE favorite song from them. It's what made me fall in love with the band in my 20's.
Chester had the art from the Hybrid Theory album tattooed on his left calf. He also had Linkin Park tattooed on his lower back as well. He did both after Hybrid Theory went Platinum twice (Diamond status for the u.s.). He had several tattoos done while on tour.
Chester changed his hair color and style quite often when he was younger. He had just about every color of hair you can think of. He would get bored with his hair so he would change the color or style.
Mike even would dye his hair blue, purple, or red. Sometimes he had both blue and red hair (papercut music video). Mike wasn't as crazy with his hair as Chester was.
Mike rapped quite often for the first 2 albums for Linkin Park. Mike released 1 album and 1 ep under the name Fort Minor in 2005. He also released music under his own name as well since Chester died in 2017.
If you want to hear Mike rap some more from early in their career. Then listen to the song High Voltage (live Rock AM Ring 2001). There is no music video for High Voltage.
Given up is an amazing one, and if you want more of Chester’s singing vocals/more of a sentimental song, one more light is amazing

Not sure if you know but sadly Chester was sexually abused from the age 7 to 13.. several songa seem to be about that, the anguish and pain in the first albums and also whenever he sings about bad memories of his past and I believe this is one of them 😢 I think he said in an interview that every time he remembered it he'd start shaking, I think he found out also later on that the person who did that to him was also abused when he was a child (hence the chorus), unfortunately I this really affected him all his life and I believe the trauma was one of the factors that ultumately led to his suicide 💔

Why is Mike's change in hair color not ever mentioned? He had Ronald McDonald red, an awesome green, a red patch in the front and blue and red hair just to mention a few 😂. Everyone just talks about Chester's crazy hair changes. Hahn even had green hair in the Papercut video so they've all had some craziness in the hair dept and I love it.

Really loved this songs lyrics! I think its a song about control. In this case its someone controlling you. Who ever wrote this must have been in a controlling relationship or something at a guess!

Unfortunately it's just the music playing in the background during the 99 Problems part. I guess One Step Closer was easier to add to the performance than this song. I actually love both 😊
