2008 honda civic alarm goes off

This one covers the reset of the alarm circuit of the 2008 Honda civic. This may work on many other models but I don't know for sure.

Thank you so much for the demonstration. Mine went off and I didn't know what to do. One thing was my battery was dead to my remote. That fixed it,but it's good to know how to turn it off without the remote. Thanks again.

If this doesn't work, there is a set of numbers on the back factory radio. If you get those #'s & call Honda They can(doesn't mean they will) give you a code to enter into your radio. Taking radio out is 25 min job ( if you know what you're doing) The FOB, Car, and radio must be re-sinq'd. follow simple Instr's
( I called 5 dealers before ONE would help me I live 150mls from any dealer they all wanted to service the car unessecarily + a tow bill)

Check out the hood latch sensor. they tend to go bad. Or spray some WD-40 in the hood latch.

Could be the hood latch sensor is bad and condensation or temperature change can mess with it...
Disconnect the hood latch sensor... they're junk. Kept triggering my alarm till I unclipped it, now all is good.
