Untamed (Walibi holland) 9. SkyRush 10. Twisted Timbers 11. Fury 325 12. Kondaa 13. El Toro 14. Expedition GeForce 15. Taron 16. Pantheon 17. Wildcats revenge 18 voyage 19. Outlaw run 20. I-305 21. Maverick 22. Mako 23. Phantoms revenge 24. Iron Rattler 25. X2 F.L.Y. Was great and just misses my top 25 by a few spots. Best flying coaster I’ve experienced. Ghostrider, shivering Timbers, & RailBlazer from your list were pretty close as well.
As soon as i heard Mr. Freeze, I was on board - don't understand why people dont realize how awesome this ride is. The one in St. Louis was my #1 briefly as a kid.
I got to ride Eejanaika a couple weeks ago. It was a bit too short to get all the way up to No. 1 for me, but what a ridiculous rush. The rotating zero-g roll that acts as an airtime hill with laterals is the most demented coaster element I have ever experienced. Great vid!
Great list I only been to the Midwest parks but here is my top ten so far hoping to visit Hershey park in the next years 1. Maverick- this coaster is insane one of the most intense coasters I experienced the launch omg 2.stevee a perfect coaster maverick and stevee are neck and neck love both 3.millie -omg the ride is awesome the height speed combo is insane the drop gets me every time the speed pushes me back to my seat lol 4. Orion -this one is so underrated the drop feels like it lasts forver and it’s so graceful I like how it provides more fun than intensity the airtime is crazy 5. Banshee - the best invert I been on first time riding it and scared the shit out of me the drop you don’t expect it and love the zero g roll 6. Diamondback love it airtime machine 7. The beast man I love the intensity going through the woods 8. Mystic Timbers I love it Seriously it’s like wooden maverick nonstop intensity the shed ruins the ride 9. Shivering Timbers my home coaster love it so much truly an elite woodie 10. Backlot stunt coaster this one surprised me it’s crazy feels like ima fall off the track and the fire coming at you scared me lol but loved it
i want to thank you for your channel, because I've been watching for years despite not being a coaster fan AT ALL-until your videos emboldened me to ride on Twisted Timbers earlier this year, and I fell headfirst in love with it. now that I live a bit closer to more regional amusement parks, I think I'm going to become a bit of an addict. and you're completely to blame. thanks!
Love the lineup. Completely agree with your assessment of Iron Gwazi. Absolutely amazing ride that you want to do over and over again. Have ridden it over 50 times, and it never disappoints. Busch Gardens has a decent lineup. But Gwazi made this a must visit park.
Got over 100 laps on Wildcats Revenge this year my kids made me do mini marathons last hour before close a few times a week all summer. I’m a Hershey regular that also doesn’t like talk about changing restraints on skyrush I love that ride the way it is
Where do you put Wicked Cyclone? Airtime Thrills has it way higher than Wildcat's Revenge. But he also likes Hades 360 and Viper at Magic Mountain a lot.
Man listen.... why can no one seem to get that though? I try to explain to my wife why Maverick is my favorite coaster at CP even though Vengeance is clearly the "better" coaster. Which is why I also have I 305 so high on my list.
I love that phantoms revenge is on here! I grew up riding that ride and it holds a dear place in my heart! It will forever be marked as my favorite ride!
You have well explained reasoning behind all of your choices and I think you did a fine job! I think Wildcats Revenge is very re rideable until it gets warmed up so hit this ride early!!
Ok let me drop my top ten, for context I’ve been on 150 coasters exactly, and I prefer positive g force, pure speed, and pure sustained ejector or floater airtime over quick pops of airtime, pacing also plays a huge part in how I rank rides. Also lightning rod was closed during my trip to Dollywood. 1. Intimidator 305 (truly the greatest coaster ever made. It has insane speed, positive gs and insane sustained ejector airtime, insane airtime pops from the lateral snaps. This is truly THE greatest coaster ever in my opinion and I don’t believe anything can beat it. It’s absolutely perfect. ) 2. Skyrush (and yes, I do indeed like the restraints as I can somehow ride without pain) 3. Iron Gwazi 4. El toro (I actually like toro more up front. I feel like you get even stronger and more sustained airtime heading up the camelbacks up front charging over the hills. I actually got 8 minimum verify rides during thrillathon this year) 5. Phoenix 6. Twisted Timbers 7. Thunderhead 8. Coney Island cyclone (bonus points: my last ride was in a full suit and tie because I went directly from a wedding that was in the area) 9. Mine Blower (IT WAS SMOOTH LIKE 2 WEEKS AGO WHEN I FIRST RODE IT YALL LIED RAHHH) 10. Boulder dash
I rode Skyrush for the first time this year and from what I figure, the thigh crush people are ignoring the lockers and trying to ride with pockets full of junk or something because I found nothing wrong with the lap bar at all.
@@haunter_1845 I rode skyrush yearsss ago when i was 4'10, maybe shorter, and i was losing feeling in my legs from the restraints. so idk what youre talking about tbh
@@damiann123 Most riders aren't 4'10 so if you're bigger now then maybe try it again and re-evaluate. I rode it for the first time with negative opinions in my head but when I got off my mind was changed. It also always takes a few rides to learn how to ride that ride.
Love your top 25 every year! You always put my personal favorite (Flying Dinosaur) on there which makes me happy. It’s funny how our ideas of “intense” are so different. You mentioned that Flying Dinosaur is intense, which I don’t personally find it, but you said that the Velocicoaster and Iron Gwazi are not so intense, which I found both so intense that my hands were shaking profusely after riding and would not be able to ride twice in one day. Very interesting!
Have you had a chance to ride Pipeline at SeaWorld Orlando? it packs a great ride in such a compact layout and floater on a standup is insane. Overall great list. I loved the jokes throughout
Might as well put my list up 1- Superman SfNE (2003 t bars) 2- Steel V 3- Iron G 4- El Toro 5- The Beast @ night 6- Iron Ratt 7- Ghostrider 8- Mako 9- Twisted Colossus 10- X2 11- New texas g 12- Goliath over georgia 13- Millenium force 14- TTDragster 15- Joker discovery K 16- Phantom R 17- Diamondback 18- Wonder woman Golden lasso 19- Kumba 20- space mountain (2022 california) 21- Griffon 22- Fire dueling dragon 23- shockwave over tex 24- Villian geuga lake 25- Orion
Superman at SFNE was hauling this season and I still had amazing rides even with the U-bricks. If it had the T bars back, it would regain it's former glory for sure.
Not having SteVe in the top 10 is insane 🤣 but I respect it because there's so many heavy hitters in your top 10. I knew Superman would be top 10 for you too. Heres my current top 10: 1. Velocicoaster 2. SteVe 3. IG 4. Maverick 5. Wicked Cyclone 6. Millie 7. Montu 8. Mako 9. Raptor 10. Hagrids Ive only been on 45 coasters so far, cant wait to ride more!
I have a trip to Japan planned in February and I’m making sure I make a trip to Fuji Q highland because of your recommendation. Thanks for putting it on my radar.
One ride I have in my top 25 that I don't think many will have in theirs is Gaurdians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind in EPCOT. Its not the most intense ride by any means but it is extremely unique and I have the widest ear to ear grin on my face every time I ride it
Dropping a Top 10 though I haven't been to nearly as many parks, but its fun!: 1. Millennium Force - takes me back to the first time I ever rode it in early 2000s, with large gap until 2020s...man it was nostalgic. Music is great. Its about going crazy fast, again, everytime I ride I go back to the early 2000s. It has to be going fast. The initial lift right after the gate is also intimidating. 2. El Toro - First time riding, starting with the fast lift hill, was a "wtf" moment. 3. Maverick - First time i went to CP it was under repair. While waiting in the rain someone told me its a "world class ride". I ended up marathoning it at the end of the day, running back to the entry line over and over. I just wish it was even more intense, why is that break run there? Great ride doesn't give you time to be afraid. 4. Steel Vengeance - someone told me its like a drug. Its a little painful at the end on my big thighs, but overall, it was my second RMC after Iron Rattler and it is a museum of a ride. 5. Space Mountain - maybe it has to do with nostalgia riding it with parents. But it being set in disney and the initial tunnel with the lighting is very cool. 6. Cheetah - Valdosta Park - the old woodie that got taken down. I love a simple intense wooden coaster. it was just right for that park. 7. Superman - Darien Lake - I took my mom on this with me in the front row. Its a quality ride in an unsuspecting park. 8. Rolling Thunder - my very first roller coaster (after years of being afraid). Its not El Toro, but its still so much fun. 9. Alpengeist - honestly for an inverted coaster this one is a lot of fun. Not a bad ride at BGW, but this one is my favorite. 10. Gemini - a forgotten coaster over there at CP, something takes you back to the early 1900s especially when its racing, although blue streak is older, Gemini takes you back and still gives you enough thrills. Its length, pacing, and surprising thrills place it above others... So I've been to Cedar Point, Six Flags Great Adventure, Six Flags Fiesta Texas, Six Flags Magic Mountain, Universal Studios, Busch Gardens Williamsburg, and Valdosta Park and Magic Kingdom. I'm a coaster enthusiast though. Ridden Dragster and Kingda Ka and X2, but this is my list for now. When my daughter gets older I plan to go to every one of the major parks. I'm right between Hershey Park and King's Dominion. Bucket List Rides are: Voyage, Velocicoaster, Iron Gwazi, Fury 325, and Intimidator 305, but I'll be honest, I'm scared to ride I305.
Always look forwards to these. Top 5 (out of 75): 1. Velocicoaster 2. Iron Gwazi 3. Wildcat's Revenge 4. Skyrush 5. El Toro Every year it's a surprising yet great list!
@@kylenickel1944There's of course downsides to being an early adopter, but it seems to have faired well for them. Technologically, they never pushed anything too far, unlike the reliability nightmares of Hypersonic XLC, TTD, etc. In fact, being early to the game helped them a lot in some cases. Despite it being short, I love Goliath. It has held up extremely well, and has a top-tier list of elements. It wasn't immediately outdated like New Texas Giant. Raging Bull was almost the first B&M hyper, but they were able to give it a very unique, twisted layout - something that is very untraditional when looking at the other hypers by the company. The park needs an elite ride desperately. Would love to see an Intamin multi-launch or mega coasters (probably the better move to not compete with Maxx Force); even a giga. They have a stacked lineup, but they would have a top 3 park lineup if they added an absolute icon to the park.
Hey there Ryan love your videos and compliment you on all the parks you’ve been to before, that’s crazy to me. Most of us visit the park that’s closest to us!! Looking at your lineup of different coasters and experiences on your list, there’s only one park that has everything and that’s cedar point. I look at rides from every park across the US and there’s no line up better. Yes universal in Florida has great rides and 3d experience. The biggest bang for your buck is at cedar point. I live 2:45 mins from CP and wouldn’t trade it for any park. 99$ season pass not to mention. I’m sure other parks have a couple great rides, but cedar point is loaded with them top to bottom.
My family isnt the themepark type, so i dont go to themeparks at all (besides sfne, so happy to see superman on ur list) but its so fun to see your list and just imagine what the rides feel like, love your vids!
Had to check out your evaluation of Shivering Timbers. Since it's pretty much local to me (10 miles away), I've ridden it often, too. I am glad they removed the trick-track some time ago as it left riders with headaches due to the severe side-to-side whipping motion it had. I just rode it in August of 2023 and I completely agree with your "potholes" comment. One was so bad that I left the ride with an extremely sore back. (Fortunately, we always ride it near the end of the day, as we know how rough the coaster can be.) Hopefully, with the Cedar Fair & Six Flags merger, they'll put some much needed maintenance into the track. Also glad to see Lightning Rod on your list. Running problems aside, it was one of my favorite coasters I've been on. We waited about 3 hours (due to shut downs) to get on this. It was very much worth the wait. One ride I wish was on your list is Disney World's Aerosmith Rockin' Roller Coaster. Between the elaborate theming and the nonstop speed from start to end (linear launch system sends you off at high speed when the light turns green) to the twists, turns, 3 inversions for a non-stop wild ride.
I love your coaster lineup and I’m a fan of your channel and your lineup. I’m a coaster enthusiast but not on your level and other reputable UA-cam channels as I’ve only ridden about 200 coasters. I thought I’d give you my top 10: 1. Iron Gwazi 2. Velocicoaster 3. Wildcats Revenge 4. Steele Vengance 5. Zadra 6. Twisted colossus (it did duel on all 6 of my rides, lucky me!!!) 7. Diamondback 8. Mystic Timbers 9. El Toro 10. Lighting Rod
I'd love to see a proper video on Time Warp. I rode it a couple times when it was new and it was awful. Aside from the ride experience being rough and jerky, the restraints didn't do their job. My foot slipped out on one of the rolls at the top. Thankfully nothing bad came of it but it was terrifying
Had the good fortune to ride Lightning Rod literally days before they shut it down to put in the new chain lift hill. Easily one of the most intense roller coasters I've ever ridden. Will need to come back for the chain lift experience at some point, for sure.
If you want some insane floater air time check out the Steel Eel at Sea World San Antonio. Sit toward the back of the train; the second camel hump will eject you into the lap bar and you’ll feel a free fall float all the way down until it bottoms out before going up the hill for the turnaround. While you’re there check out the Texas Stingray as well for an intense wooden coaster experience.
any 3 bench train will be better in the middle seat vs the wheel seats on a fully loaded train magnum is great in row 2 or the second to last the beast is best in second to last by a large margin blue streak row 2 eltoro second to last or row 2 kings island and dominion racers second to back any arrow mine train but especially runaway mine train at great adventure or the one at kings island all better in second to last or middle front (which at gadv is actually the first seat) the only 3 bench coasters i prefer the far back on are really old woodies with minimal restraints like phoenix, skyliner at lakemont, jackrabbit at kennywood, and big dipper at camden park.
Great list for a rollercoaster traditionalist outside of your #1 lol I love velocicoaster and launch coasters in general, I’m not a big traditional steel coaster/300ft plus guy and think millennium is just meh but love speed and elements. Maverick is my favorite ride at CP and it’s not even really close, I have steel vengeance at #3 in the park
Interesting video with some interesting picks. I'm curious - I noticed there are no UK coasters on your list. Is that because you've not visited any UK theme parks, or because you don't think any UK coasters are worthy of being in your top 25 list?
Kings Dominion is my home park and I-305 is on the only coaster I need to take a break from before re-riding because of the intensity. Also, the airtime on Twisted Timbers is completely out of control now. It's awesome.
went on edjenaika because of your video and man does it not disappoint! Also did flying dinosaur because of you and man that one should be higher on your list.
Love your top 25. Always a more well balanced list based solely on having fun. With X2 being my #1, I am on the edge of my seat for our first trip to Japan in 2025. Eejanaika here we come!
Completely agree with your assessment of Millenium Force. The best coaster at CP is Steel Vengeance followed by Maverick, then Millenium Force. But I personally rank them Millenium Force, Maverick, Steel Vengeance
@@MichaelRei99 I also thought SkyRush was highly overrated. Maybe it was the day I was there but the 2 rides I got on it didn't impress me one bit. The restraints didn't bother me though
ETR - What a great list. I am a huge Intamin mark, so I definitely enjoyed this list. That pink Gwazi shirt was f**king sick bro. That by far, is the coolest looking ride tee ever.
Love the video! Choosing 25 must be really hard. Since it must be so hard, what are like 5 or so coasters that you wanted to put on the list but didn’t have space to? Absolutely love your channel with the super intuitive videos that you put out!
I love that you have my favorite wooden coaster above fury, Millennium Force and Steel vengeance proving cedar fairs best coaster is in their worst park.
It's very refreshing for CGA to be mentioned without people trying to claim dibs on rides that are still currently operating like an estate auction for someone that's still alive :)
Love the list! 😊 Also I went on F.L.Y. in Phantasialand (summer 2023), it is a really good coaster but the seats are so incredibly uncomfortable. My legs and back hurt so much (I am 5'11 around 185lb) and its very unfriendly towards people with breasts as mine got squished to high heaven. I could only ride it twice, and riding it at the end of the day was a big mistake lol as it requires some strength to brace in the seat.
Is this just an issue with the Vekoma flyers or do B&M flyers have the same issue? And if it is just an issue with the Vekoma ones, what does B&M do to avoid this?
@@me-myself-i787 I am wondering the same thing as I have never been this uncomfortable in a flying coaster before. Might look more into the difference between the seats.
I just beat my fear on mako. Absolute no1 and I am looking to get all the credits at seaworld orlando and busch gardens tampa (my home park) but i think for me, the only ride topping mako is velocicoaster
Im from Europe so haven't ridden a single ride from those 25. That said if you visit Europe in future i think some rollercoasters here will definitely be on your top 25. Some examples Hyperion (Energylandia) - Zadra (Energylandia) - Taron (Phantasialand) - F.L.Y (Phantasialand) - Ride To Happiness (Plopsaland de Panne) - Taiga (Linnanmäki) my №1 - Untamed (Walibi Holland) my №2 - Batman gce (Parque Warner) - Toutatis (Parque Asterix) - Kondaa (Walibi Belgium)
My favorite coasters are 1. F.L.Y. at Phantasialand DEFENITLY, will never be passed 2. Ride To Happiness at Plopsaland 3. this is a fight between Kondaa at Walibi and Taron at Phantasialand I really wish you can ride and love F.L.Y. soon too! It's AMAZING!
Millennium Force is the best ride I have been on and my favorite. I have not been to CP since 2014 so I have not been on the replacement of Mean Streak, which our host loves, Steel Vengence.
@haunter_1845 my mother grew up riding Scream Machine, while I didn't get to ride it, being able to ride Viper with her is a great memory. Viper is a must ride every visit, hope you get to it someday soon🙏
How do you compare Freeze at Texas to St. Louis? I figured my home park wouldn't show up on this list then I saw that spike immediately pop up and my heart jumped for a second. I'd love to ride Texas sometime but it's so far down on my list of parks to get to, considering I haven't ridden a roller coaster outside of Missouri in my life.
OK i'll give you my top 3 (that i've ridden) 1: Shambhala - Port Aventura, Spain 2: The Smiler - Alton Towers, UK 3: Hyper Coaster - The Land of Legends, Turkey
Rode Mr. Freeze a lot in St. Louis, always fun. Lightning Rod was closed when I went to Dollywood :( Hoping to ride Iron Gwazi and Velocicoaster this year!
Not having Guardians of the Galaxy - Cosmic Rewind on here is wild.... especially with Velocicoaster on the list. Also, I can't get over The Voyage being better than The Beast...
I currently put Kingda Ka as my number one ever since Top Thrill Dragster closed for good because I’m obsessed with hydraulic launches. I hope Top Thrill 2 becomes my number one again.
Right now my list isn't very strong outside of the top few, but my top 10 currently goes 10. Afterburn. Absolutely incredible layout, nearly impeccable pacing. This ride is what solidified 90's B&M inverts as one of my favorite models out there 9. Expedition Everest, an incredible mix of storytelling, buildup, intense attention to detail and a surprisingly fun coaster section. Definitely isn't here because it's the most wild thing in the world, but it is such an incredible achievement in how coasters can be used for storytelling. God bless Joe Rohde 8. Top Thrill Dragster, the launch alone gets it this high up. Such an incredible experience, I loved how it felt punchy and yet still incredibly long launch, with a very fun top hat to boot 7. Lightning Rod, used to like it more but I'm not as huge of a fan of it anymore. Still, incredibly intense and fun ride that packs one of the most unique layouts I've ever been on 6. Intimidator 305, incredibly intense while still being fun. Packs one of the best senses of scale I've seen on any coaster and I seriously love the level of intensity in the turns 5. Magnum XL-200, sure it's not the best ride out there, it's incredibly janky but there is just something I find so incredibly fun about this ride. And then it hits you with IMO the greatest series of airtime moments on any coaster I've been on at least that seals this ride as being incredible 4. Fury 325, such an incredible mix of intensity and floatiness. The drop alone is enough to have it rank so highly, and then it hits with a surprisingly rapid fired layout, packing what feels like a full 3 act structure worth of coaster 3. Maverick, a near perfect layout. Such an aggressive and fast pace, incredible airtime and a handful of my favorite elements out there. Has incredibly intense valleys which is something else I ADORE on coasters, delivers quite a lot on that 2. Steel Vengeance. I mean, duh. I love the amount of element variety and how many highlights there are. Also has one of the most disorienting series of elements from the laterals yanking you into the structure on a bunny hill->wave turn->insane zero g roll->slow-mo overbank 1. Thunderhead. This thing. Just. An absolutely perfect layout with amazing pacing, great setting, SHOCKINGLY intense and a wild mix of laterals, whip and airtime. Was running easily the best it ever has I've seen this past season. Just a perfect mix of the pacing, speed, intensity, length, being jostled around and pure fun I want on coasters and a hint of nostalgia
As a frequent visitor to universal studios osaka, i highly recommend taking the single rider line for Flying Dinosaur. It literally skips the entire line as it drops you into the locker area immediately, which would be towards the end of the normal queue. It turned a 100 minute wait into a 10 minute one for me this summer.
I have been on F.L.Y and Flying Dinosaur. Flying Dinos Layout was so much better and the trains are more comfortable! The vekoma flyer seats and restrains are kinda uncomfortable to me
Couldn't agree more. People dump on it mostly because of t-bar nostalgia. The u-bricks aren't great, but I still get great airtime and a relatively comfortable ride.
shoutout to always bein able to see the main homie alpengeist on every vessi b-roll. you should get some roller coaster themed colorways. "alpengeist white"
I smiled ear to ear when I saw shivering Timbers because Michigans adventure has been my home park for like 10 years and barely anyone gives it the merit it deserves. Your coaster idiots video there is one of my favorites because it’s the first time I ever heard someone say something good about my home park

Yes! I cant wait till we get to ride some of these rides! Great video as usual!
I often say there is a difference between what I think are the best coasters and my favorite coasters.
Man listen.... why can no one seem to get that though? I try to explain to my wife why Maverick is my favorite coaster at CP even though Vengeance is clearly the "better" coaster. Which is why I also have I 305 so high on my list.

It’s absolutely perfect. )
2. Skyrush (and yes, I do indeed like the restraints as I can somehow ride without pain)
3. Iron Gwazi
4. El toro (I actually like toro more up front. I feel like you get even stronger and more sustained airtime heading up the camelbacks up front charging over the hills. I actually got 8 minimum verify rides during thrillathon this year)
5. Phoenix
6. Twisted Timbers
7. Thunderhead
8. Coney Island cyclone (bonus points: my last ride was in a full suit and tie because I went directly from a wedding that was in the area)
9. Mine Blower (IT WAS SMOOTH LIKE 2 WEEKS AGO WHEN I FIRST RODE IT YALL LIED RAHHH)
@@haunter_1845 I will when I go back to hershey, I'll see if its any better nowadays
I wonder what the employees thought when you got on the Coney Island in full suit and tie
I can’t believe this is my third year in a row watching these top 25s
Love your top 25 every year! You always put my personal favorite (Flying Dinosaur) on there which makes me happy. It’s funny how our ideas of “intense” are so different. You mentioned that Flying Dinosaur is intense, which I don’t personally find it, but you said that the Velocicoaster and Iron Gwazi are not so intense, which I found both so intense that my hands were shaking profusely after riding and would not be able to ride twice in one day. Very interesting!
Great Video! Was secretly hoping to see twisted colossus on here but there were better RMCs …being from NJ happy to see El Toro in the top 3 💙
Have you had a chance to ride Pipeline at SeaWorld Orlando? it packs a great ride in such a compact layout and floater on a standup is insane.
Overall great list. I loved the jokes throughout
Might as well put my list up
1- Superman SfNE (2003 t bars)
2- Steel V
3- Iron G
4- El Toro
5- The Beast @ night
6- Iron Ratt
7- Ghostrider
8- Mako
9- Twisted Colossus
10- X2
11- New texas g
12- Goliath over georgia
13- Millenium force
14- TTDragster
15- Joker discovery K
16- Phantom R
17- Diamondback
18- Wonder woman Golden lasso

20- space mountain (2022 california)
21- Griffon
22- Fire dueling dragon
23- shockwave over tex
24- Villian geuga lake
25- Orion
Superman at SFNE was hauling this season and I still had amazing rides even with the U-bricks. If it had the T bars back, it would regain it's former glory for sure.
Not having SteVe in the top 10 is insane 🤣 but I respect it because there's so many heavy hitters in your top 10. I knew Superman would be top 10 for you too. Heres my current top 10:
1. Velocicoaster
2. SteVe
3. IG
4. Maverick
5. Wicked Cyclone
6. Millie
7. Montu
8. Mako
9. Raptor
10. Hagrids
Ive only been on 45 coasters so far, cant wait to ride more!
Mine is kinda similar, except I appreciate theming a lot so Hagrids would be in my top 5
I have a trip to Japan planned in February and I’m making sure I make a trip to Fuji Q highland because of your recommendation. Thanks for putting it on my radar.
Great list! My top 25 has a lot of similarities! I’ve been on 423 coasters.
1. Zadra
2. Iron Gwazi
3. Steel Vengeance
4. El Toro
5. ArieForce One
6. VelociCoaster
7. The Voyage
8. Wildcat’s Revenge
9. Fury 325
10. Intimidator 305
11. Expedition GeForce
12. Untamed
13. Taron
14. Lightning Rod
15. Pantheon
16. Maverick
17. Shivering Timbers
18. Mamba
19. Skyrush
20. F.L.Y.
21. Hyperion
22. Twisted Timbers
23. Shambhala
24. Lech Coaster
25. Outlaw Run
Top list, why no time traveler there?
@@KKcampa I have Time Traveler just outside this list. I just prefer Outlaw Run and all these coasters to it.
One ride I have in my top 25 that I don't think many will have in theirs is Gaurdians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind in EPCOT. Its not the most intense ride by any means but it is extremely unique and I have the widest ear to ear grin on my face every time I ride it
The first drop and first two camelbacks on el toro are so freaking good
Dropping a Top 10 though I haven't been to nearly as many parks, but its fun!:
My first ever ride on Millenium Force was back row left side while the sun was setting in 2018. Literally something I’ll never forget
Always look forwards to these.
Top 5 (out of 75):
1. Velocicoaster
2. Iron Gwazi
3. Wildcat's Revenge
4. Skyrush
5. El Toro
Every year it's a surprising yet great list!
I'm all here for the Wildcat's Revenge love, it just feels so special and so different compared to other RMCs.
But Millie will always be my #1
Great video! Would love to see a top 25 parks you’ve visited list!
I strongly disagree with so many of your choices, but I always look forward to your unique lists!
It's crazy how balanced Great America is that it doesn't have a coaster on this list but is still widely regarded as one of the best SF parks.
It's even crazier when you realize that most of their coasters are either prototypes or early models of each type and still all good quality.
Finally rode Iron Gwazi this year. my favorite so far for sure.
I thought I’d give you my top 10:
1. Iron Gwazi
2. Velocicoaster
3. Wildcats Revenge
4. Steele Vengance
5. Zadra
6. Twisted colossus (it did duel on all 6 of my rides, lucky me!!!)
7. Diamondback
8. Mystic Timbers
9. El Toro
10. Lighting Rod
Helix in Gothenburg, Fury 325, Velocicoaster, el toro, afterburn, maverick, both intimidators, x2, millennium force are some of my favorites
Can't believe your #2 is from my home park!!! Love it!!!
It’s i305 for me. Rode it for the first time this summer and that ride slaps. Some other rides are close but i305 is the big cheese.
Had the good fortune to ride Lightning Rod literally days before they shut it down to put in the new chain lift hill. Easily one of the most intense roller coasters I've ever ridden. Will need to come back for the chain lift experience at some point, for sure.
My top 20 looks like this:
1. Steel vengeance (CP)
2. Velocicoaster (UIA)
3. Intimidator 305 (KD)
4. Untamed (WH)
5. Iron Gwazi (BGT)
6. Nemesis (AT)
7. Fury 325 (Ca)
8. Maverick (CP)
9. Pantheon (BGW)
10. Smiler (AT)
11. Formula Rossa (FW)
12. Ghost rider (KBF)
13. Railblazer (CGA)
14. Flying aces (FW)
15. Twisted colossus (SFMM)
16. Boardwalk bullet (KB)
17. Leviathan (CW)
18. Lost gravity (WH)
19. Wodan timburcoaster (EP)
20. Incredible Hulk (UIA)
A few hot takes in there haha but they are all world class rides
Wow. I doubt I’d have this list even if I was tripping on acid!
I haven't ridden enough coasters to even have a top 10 but your videos are inspiring me to hopefully change that.
Love flying dinosaur, thanks for giving it the recognition it deserves!
Mean Steak! Mean Streak!!! Best ride ever!!! Can't wait to ride it again!!!!
Here's mine out of 859:
25 - Leviathan CW
24 - Superman SFNE
23 - Maverick
22 - Boardwalk Bullet
21 - F.L.Y
20 - Lech Coaster
19 - Iron Gwazi
18 - Wildcat's Revenge
17 - Hyperion
16 - Skyrush
15 - Lightning Rod
14 - Pantheon
13 - Toutatis
12 - Fury 325
11 - Kondaa
10 - Ride To Happiness
9 - Voyage
8 - X2
7 - Taron
6 - Velocicoaster
5 - El Toro
4 - DC Rivals Hypercoaster
2b - Zadra
2a - I305
1 - Expedition GeForce 😌
I think the key to getting the best ride possible on El Toro is to ride it in the second to back row.
any 3 bench train will be better in the middle seat vs the wheel seats on a fully loaded train
magnum is great in row 2 or the second to last
the beast is best in second to last by a large margin
blue streak row 2
eltoro second to last or row 2
kings island and dominion racers second to back
any arrow mine train but especially runaway mine train at great adventure or the one at kings island all better in second to last or middle front (which at gadv is actually the first seat)
the only 3 bench coasters i prefer the far back on are really old woodies with minimal restraints like phoenix, skyliner at lakemont, jackrabbit at kennywood, and big dipper at camden park.
Hi! Hershey Park Season Passholder here... YES, the new Skyrush restraints are AWESOME. Reride it to be amazed!
went on edjenaika because of your video and man does it not disappoint!
Steve being below Wildcats Revenge is insanity
Have you even been on Wilcats revenge?
Yeah, I went on wild cat and thought it was just good but Definitely the most average RMC I've been on by far
@@MichaelRei99 yes I have and I thought it was a great ride but Steve is far more superior by a mile
@@MichaelRei99 I also thought SkyRush was highly overrated. Maybe it was the day I was there but the 2 rides I got on it didn't impress me one bit. The restraints didn't bother me though
@@MichaelRei99 nothing to say now 😂😂😂😂😂
ETR - What a great list.
24:29 I genuinely got so stunned by this. I don’t even know how you got me there.
Happy to see Time Warp finally getting the recognition it deserves. Golden Ticket awards here we come
It's very refreshing for CGA to be mentioned without people trying to claim dibs on rides that are still currently operating like an estate auction for someone that's still alive :)
love this list! maybe best ive seen so far!
Love the list! 😊
Also I went on F.L.Y. in Phantasialand (summer 2023), it is a really good coaster but the seats are so incredibly uncomfortable.
Just recently rode the mako 3 times (front, middle, back) and just to say, the back of that mf coaster is 100% all air, a top 10 for me
Im from Europe so haven't ridden a single ride from those 25. That said if you visit Europe in future i think some rollercoasters here will definitely be on your top 25. Some examples
Hyperion (Energylandia)
- Zadra (Energylandia)
- Taron (Phantasialand)
- F.L.Y (Phantasialand)
- Ride To Happiness (Plopsaland de Panne)
- Taiga (Linnanmäki) my №1
- Untamed (Walibi Holland) my №2
- Batman gce (Parque Warner)
- Toutatis (Parque Asterix)
- Kondaa (Walibi Belgium)
Zadra is my No.1 and I've ridden Gwazi and Velocicoaster and even Ride to happiness
Don’t forget Wildfire and Lech Coaster👌 from his list I only did The Flying Dinosaur
My favorite coasters are
1. F.L.Y. at Phantasialand DEFENITLY, will never be passed
2. Ride To Happiness at Plopsaland
3. this is a fight between Kondaa at Walibi and Taron at Phantasialand
I really wish you can ride and love F.L.Y. soon too! It's AMAZING!
Millennium Force is the best ride I have been on and my favorite. I have not been to CP since 2014 so I have not been on the replacement of Mean Streak, which our host loves, Steel Vengence.
When I visited Charlotte, Carowinds was straight up closed due to inclement weather, and I still think about it to this day
Great list, my personal number 1 is Viper at Magic Mountain, but Iron Rattler and Time Traveler arent too far behind
There is no coaster I miss more than Viper's twin, The Great American Scream Machine. I hope to ride Viper someday.
@haunter_1845 my mother grew up riding Scream Machine, while I didn't get to ride it, being able to ride Viper with her is a great memory. Viper is a must ride every visit, hope you get to it someday soon🙏
I live 10 mins away from Busch Gardens and ride Iron Gwazi as often as possible! That and Velocicoaster and definitely my top 2!!
Can you maybe do a video ranking the top 10 or 20 highest capacity coasters?
El Toro is in ElToroRyan's top 3? Never saw it coming, I am SHOOK.
Another Ryan coaster enthusiast here and I have ridden many coasters in your top 25, I need more credits, though.
My favourite coaster is montu because of its intensity, and I have not ridden many coasters. I do love nemesis aswell
1:17 I don’t think you are launched down, no? Isn’t it just an upward pull, then a free fall?
How do you compare Freeze at Texas to St. Louis? I figured my home park wouldn't show up on this list then I saw that spike immediately pop up and my heart jumped for a second. I'd love to ride Texas sometime but it's so far down on my list of parks to get to, considering I haven't ridden a roller coaster outside of Missouri in my life.
respect for having boulder dash on here that was my first big coaster as a kid
SUPERMAN THE RIDE AT 6 FUCK YEAH RYAN
OK i'll give you my top 3 (that i've ridden)
1: Shambhala - Port Aventura, Spain
2: The Smiler - Alton Towers, UK
3: Hyper Coaster - The Land of Legends, Turkey
I just rode Mr.Freeze forwards last week and the backwards descent from the spike is uber-intense on that pullout! Ridiculous!
Rode Mr. Freeze a lot in St. Louis, always fun.
Lightning Rod was closed when I went to Dollywood :(
Hoping to ride Iron Gwazi and Velocicoaster this year!
My Christmas present came early!
Lesss gooo! A new ETR video!
Magnum xl-200 is obviously the best coaster, anyone who says otherwise is wrong
Based
Any list with Twisted Timber in it is OK in my book!
Feeling very lucky to live in FL. 2 coasters in the top 5, and a third within reasonable driving distance (AF1) in the top 10
I hope Top Thrill 2 becomes my number one again.
some of these takes are goated
Right now my list isn't very strong outside of the top few, but my top 10 currently goes
10. Afterburn. Absolutely incredible layout, nearly impeccable pacing. This ride is what solidified 90's B&M inverts as one of my favorite models out there
9. Expedition Everest, an incredible mix of storytelling, buildup, intense attention to detail and a surprisingly fun coaster section. Definitely isn't here because it's the most wild thing in the world, but it is such an incredible achievement in how coasters can be used for storytelling. God bless Joe Rohde
8. Top Thrill Dragster, the launch alone gets it this high up. Such an incredible experience, I loved how it felt punchy and yet still incredibly long launch, with a very fun top hat to boot
7. Lightning Rod, used to like it more but I'm not as huge of a fan of it anymore. Still, incredibly intense and fun ride that packs one of the most unique layouts I've ever been on
6. Intimidator 305, incredibly intense while still being fun. Packs one of the best senses of scale I've seen on any coaster and I seriously love the level of intensity in the turns
5. Magnum XL-200, sure it's not the best ride out there, it's incredibly janky but there is just something I find so incredibly fun about this ride. And then it hits you with IMO the greatest series of airtime moments on any coaster I've been on at least that seals this ride as being incredible
4. Fury 325, such an incredible mix of intensity and floatiness. The drop alone is enough to have it rank so highly, and then it hits with a surprisingly rapid fired layout, packing what feels like a full 3 act structure worth of coaster
3. Maverick, a near perfect layout. Such an aggressive and fast pace, incredible airtime and a handful of my favorite elements out there. Has incredibly intense valleys which is something else I ADORE on coasters, delivers quite a lot on that
2. Steel Vengeance. I mean, duh. I love the amount of element variety and how many highlights there are. Also has one of the most disorienting series of elements from the laterals yanking you into the structure on a bunny hill->wave turn->insane zero g roll->slow-mo overbank
Nice List Except Thunderhead Is My Overall 68 Coaster So Way Lower
@@HugeRMCFanBoY-bx3od Okay
As a frequent visitor to universal studios osaka, i highly recommend taking the single rider line for Flying Dinosaur. It literally skips the entire line as it drops you into the locker area immediately, which would be towards the end of the normal queue. It turned a 100 minute wait into a 10 minute one for me this summer.
I agree with this!!
I have been on F.L.Y and Flying Dinosaur. Flying Dinos Layout was so much better and the trains are more comfortable! The vekoma flyer seats and restrains are kinda uncomfortable to me
Great video.. nice to see superman so high, everyone shits on it but I think it's great def in my top 10
