I’ve only ridden 12 coasters, and the only wooden coasters I’ve ridden are all at Michigan’s Adventure.
I’m gonna sound like the Chick-fil-A sauce, girl here but what ? no Cedar Point? 😂
@@ThemeParkMotivation nope. I’ve been to both Virginia parks, most California parks, Dollywood, and Mall of America but have never been to Cedar Point.

Beast at night is probably my favorite ride period. Gotta be fully dark though. After the fireworks
I gotta say I’ve never been on the beast at night and I’m sure it makes for a much better experience, but have you been on voyage at night because that’s insane
My only disagreements with this list are that I do love Phoenix, and somehow Shivering Timbers is missing. I prefer Legend to Voyage as well which I know is very contrarian.
Shivering Timbers was awesome with airtime I went on it last year just needs some love
Shivering Timbers is my new number one coaster, just rode it for the first time a week ago despite MiA being my home park.

@@ThemeParkMotivation I haven’t done Boulder Dash yet, but I have Thunderhead close to my top 10 woodies, although I heavily disagree with you saying that Lightning Rod doesn’t come anywhere close to it. For me LRod is way better. As for Mystic, I’ve always been super disappointed by it, so it doesn’t come anywhere close to my top 10 woodies

El Toro being unreliable - yep. Didn't get to ride it on my last SFGAdv trip...

I know I was sad for you we probably differ on weather it’s the best in the state but to me it definitely was so re-rideable
I would have mentioned American Eagle at Six flags great America such a historic ride
It’s awesome looking but the 2 times I went there it was down so I have no honest opinion of it
No phoenix is wild, the airtime is the craziest airtime I’ve had
It’s just so hit or miss for me I’ve had 1 good ride on it and I live an hour from it
Phoenix is a great classic style and size coaster, best I've ridden. But not on this level.
Texas Stingray is the best coaster in Texas

Finally worked up the nerve to ride The Voyage this year for the first time, now I’ve ridden it at least 7/8 times, it’s insane forreal lol and you’re not lying you pull up to the station a little outta breath, it’s fucking awesome. Definitely think the 2nd and 3rd hills are the best, first one gets you nervous but the 2nd and 3rd ones you’re going fast when peaking them, I love it. Glad I’m only 45 minutes away, but they need to start investing in more coasters, they’ve been heavy on the water park but they have the space and they’re batting 1000 on roller coasters so far, even Good Gravy is fun for what it’s meant to be, a family coaster. They could definitely start stacking steel coasters or bring in RMC for The Legend that would be so dope. Either way they need to start adding coasters. Love it either way though it’s always fun no matter how much you go
I totally agree I think they’re missing a nice B&M hyper that could use the terrain and woods and be awesome at night
@@ThemeParkMotivation yeah that would be awesome honestly. I know they have brought in a lot of attention with the Thunderbird and Voyage but Thunderbird is way too good to be as short as it is, they need something big to really start bringing in more and more people. Free parking and drinks is an insane plus too.

Keep RMC away from Holiday World. I like Legend more than Voyage and absolutely do not want to see that ride butchered.
@@TheCoasterSerpent I have not once seen any one complain about an RMC other than they used to have issues with upgrading the wooden track supports, which they have since gotten better at. The Legend is not that serious, I’ve been riding it since I was tall enough to ride roller coasters, it’s great but it could 100% benefit from something like RMC could provide. Hell the only problems HW has really had with any ride designers were Intamin with that absolute money pit disaster Pilgrims Plunge. Either way if they’re not gonna build a new one soon they need to change up the old ones, could even rebrand it as “The Legend: Reborn” or some shit and it would be 🔥

Sorry, I hate the voyage, that roller coaster hurt my neck. My number one roller coaster in the US is. Lightning racers at Hersheypark. My number one roller coaster in the entire world is wildfire in Sweden
Voyage is definitely one of those coasters that is not for everybody so I totally understand this that being said lightning racer almost made this list. It is also one of my favorite coasters as I go to Hersheypark lot. The only reason it didn’t was because it really needs a retract, and the fact that it doesn’t duel much anymore
My problem with Voyage is that it stole Shivering Timbers’s thunder.

Don’t be sorry everybody has their own preference or their own opinion. That’s what makes roller coasters great in Phoenix is a great coaster. I just don’t think it’s the best wooden coaster in the world

@ThemeParkMotivation What’s wrong with The Beast? Little rough, but overall way better statistically STILL after all these years than most listed. Unless you were just talking “best new” The Beast is all time.
