@@mulinhuan8410seeing such beautiful machinery getting demolished does truly break my heart I wish they at least just take it apart without destroying the ride but ik that must be very difficult to do
the launch cables spinning and the roar as the trains pulled up the tower were some of my favorite roller coaster noises! And yes it was incredibly loud!
The way they just dead stopped in their tracks, and stopped maintaining it is insane. An iconic ride, that made so many fall in love with roller coasters just thrown to the waste side for the trash. Its clear the cedar fair management hates transparency.
Ka was the ride that introduced me to the roller coaster community (I liked roller coasters before but never knew there's a whole community of enthusiasts) and is so far the most heartbroken I've even been for the removal of a ride. I am very disappointed in the Cedar Fair management with their decision. I hope the 2026 replacement lives up to Ka's name as the king of coasters.
I don’t care what anyone says, closing this ride was spite work on Cedar Fair’s part. Formula Rossa just got an entire re-ferb that Ka was supposed to get 2026. Zamperla probably would have don’t it for free if new Six Flags told them they’d not publicly trash them for the TT2 problems. Intamin could have lined the LSMs up the tower and extended the layout in green lanterns plot just like they wanted to do with Top Thrill but they wanted them to remove iron Dragon. I’m disgusted by the closure of this attraction.
It is indeed extremely disappointing how Cedar Flags handled Ka... I cannot imagine how good of a new ride Ka can become if they let Intamin work their magic on it, or even Zamperla once they figure out the issues on TT2. They have picked a really tough job for themselves. Building a completely new ride worthy of being Ka's successor will be extremely challenging.
Awesome footage may the king rest in peace I will miss it dearly
Thank you! I miss Ka so much already...
@ me too I can’t believe what there doing

That coasters launch, and the eco of it through the support structure was probably so loud in person!

17:09 just listen to the wheels, a dead sign they were gonna remove how they just straight up stop maintaining it.
Facts that shit never sounded like that when I was there
