I am very happy to hear that this video has helped so many people. I know how I felt when I had this issue and couldn't find any help. Thank you very much for letting me know how this was able to help you out.
A regular man doing a regular video with helpful information....thanks bro as I'm writing this u said 09 I have a 17 I guess we about to find out if it works!
Bro !! thanks for doing the dirty work !! Same thing just happened to me !! Should join some forums and post this up !! *side note - gmc, buick, saturn really screwed their customers with poor quality roof design the sunroof drain tubes get plugged easily from the rubber elbow they decided to use and boy does that create the worst of this car IMO !! Water leaks down pillars, into fuse box, into blower motor, and all down the connections under center console Horrible craftsman ship and ill never buy another one just because they treated all their customers badly !! they boosted sales and made tons of money off their own blatant mistakes !! Crooks !!
Like to add that if it seems super hard to turn try to go the other way and then back the other way also the opening to turn the motor is cheap soft metal and will strip extremely easy I got.away with all the middle guts screws and just the two visor holders closest to the middle guts . didnt have to do the actual visor also you cant move the sunroof without the motor cause it has a gear that moves the sunroof *cable" sucks and youll probably see the black cover that is removed from the motor filled with corosion board is toast and IMO might as well order a new assembly cause the motor is probably corroded too from all the moisture trapped in the roof
Bill Luke dealership wants to charge me over $1,700 to fix this. Idk if they're taking advantage of me being a female.. But anyways I know nothing about any of this. I know that my sunroof tracks are broken. Do you think it'll still close if I do what you did?
Thank you, thank you for this video. Mine was stuck open on a long holiday weekend. This saved me!

Thanks. This worked for my 2011 Enclave.
Your video was super helpful thanks a million
Any clue why mine doesn't want to go back only forward
So does mine not wanting to close
What if it still doesn’t work/close ?
Thank you!!!!
Got 2016 enclave stock open. Dealers asking 200 grand.
Is there anyway to know if it's a fuse or the motor??
Not sure about that one
Front sunroof and rear sunroof shade share the fuse. If the shade is still working, then it's not the fuse
Thanks

Don’t pay no 1700 to fix the sun roof
It should still help close it at least better then it already is.
That's what's up....the silly cover under the motor pissed me off. 2010 traverse is the same
