- This Nuna Pipa car seat has been though a lot, 3 kids and trips everywhere! We have had to wash this car seat plenty of times as it seems to be a magnet for sometimes very yucky messes!!! LOL! In this video I will show you how to put the Nuna Pipa car seat fabric back on after washing. There are a couple of tips that I also include in this video on what to look for when putting the fabric back on the car seat to make the task easier!

This is great! Do you also have one showing how to put back in the infant insert?
Alexis, to answer your question, I do not. From what I remember, you might have to unconnected the shoulder straps and thread it through the shoulder slots of both the base fabric layer and the infant insert, then connect it back to the metal clip underneath the seat… hope that helps.

Thanks so much! This was super helpful to put the cover back on my Pipa car seat. For some reason my car seat has a double frame for the canopy, one that goes in the canopy and one that was already on there. It didnt have any elastic tie loops so not sure how the metal frame stayed in before. Also not sure where I should be placing the other canopy frame?

I apologize but I did not cover that in this video… I believe the manual should tell how to add/remove the infant insert, if not, then I would seek out a professional at a hospital that could assist with that. Thanks, great video! Did you have any issues moving the crotch strap to the largest slot? The buckle and strap seem too large to fit through the slot.
Jason great question! Yes, it was a little difficult. The buckle does not fit back in the slot, rather the strap is the focus. It pinches together to move the buckle to the next position sliding through the gap that looks like a capital letter “I” (In Times New Roman Font) or a Roman numeral 1. The font for this message is in arial or something and not letting me show you! Lol! Point is, move the strap attached to the buckle to change the position, not the actual buckle piece. How did you move the crotch strap to the second slot? I see yours is closer to the front of the seat.
That is a good question. I would consult a professional to make sure the strap is moved correctly. We no longer have the car seat but from what I remember, there should be two slots in the base of the actual car seat. One of the slots the crotch strap is currently in, and there is a small strip or channel connecting the two slots. Push the entire strap down into the car seat and trim the strap so that it starts to fit into that channel. Once in that channel, slide it down into the next slot and turn the strap correctly to fit that slot. Then pull the crotch strap back out of the car seat a little and it should pull right into place. Therefore moving from one slot, down the channel into the next slot or appropriate resting position to safely buckle your child in a different position. Make sure to align the second slot on the fabric as there should be corresponding (matching) slots in the fabric.

How did you clean the cover?
We use soap and water on the cover and let it air dry. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching!
Did your foam have clear tape on it?
Yes! Good eye! We filmed this video AFTER our son was done using the car seat, so we were storing it in the garage with the cover off and it fell and cracked the foam. 🤦♂️ we used tape for filming purposes only.
