God bless you Liz. You are the force of good for the RV industry. Clearly, I will never buy an RV that does not take care of their customers. For perspective, I have had 4 RV's including 2 Airstreams and a Newmar Dutch Star. You go girl!

Yes. Once we are organized we'll have the clout needed to push for something like that. Until then we have the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act which is national and includes RVs. Thanks for being here!
It would be so much better for everyone if these manufacturers would invest the time, money, and commitment to build these RV's right in the first place.
I know it. Seems so basic, and so obvious~! It's the mass produced ones that are so problematic these days. I continue to recommend smaller RV makers that are independently owned and operated. Thanks for watching and stay tuned.
I think the consumer report-style ratings system is a great idea! Maybe you can sell ad space to RV accessory suppliers like mattresses, water purifiers, etc. This is really growing Liz, and I’m glad I’m around to see it. You do it so well! Best wishes.🍀🍀🍀
Certainly look at Consumer Reports as a model for an RV watchdog. Also consider forming a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, which has many advantages for consumers and organization members/officers.
Amazing job again Liz! I love the Consumer RV membership! The RV industry needs to change and perhaps this is the change that could force them to change.
Glad to hear Winnebago stepped up. We have a nearly $200k class c Winnebago and so far, (thankfully) only use issue is the fridge died on day 1 of our camping trip, 3 days after purchase. Our dealer replaced it with a new fridge out of another class c on the lot.
I’ll join your new group. Sounds fabulous. Also I’d be happy to help in any way I can if you need work done. I’m a full timer and enjoy it but bored out of my mind. It’s tough when you’re a workaholic and suddenly there’s no work. Love, love, love your show & recommend it whenever I can.
Liz, absolutely the industry needs to step up and take responsibility for the manufacturing defects and repair them before distribution. WIN-WIN 🎉. I THINK The consumer consortium is a good idea to help in quality control and safety. 😮
I’m so glad you could help them with Winnebago. I doubt they (Winnebago) will change, don’t buy their products until the products improve. Overpriced, low quality and very little quality customer service. Unfortunately that’s most of these companies. Great work!!
We own a 2004 Forest river bumper pull, and it is built like a tank! We’ve full timed in it 7 years across the country. I do regular maintenance on it myself being a mechanic of 35 years and a retired machinist. I have to say this was built amazing! It’s sad how bad RV manufacturing has gotten, just to push it down the line. Thanks for your amazing work Liz, you are a Godsend. Case in point your videos mainly deal with new RV’s. Since I can actually put this out there, please do your due diligence on your older RVs especially resealing your roof, AND reseal around your cargo compartments and everything else on the sides of your RVs. I see SO many delaminated RVs now it’s not funny. Pay now or pay more later. Fortunately my son And can spend the next 2 weeks scraping off old cracked sealant and resealing everything on our RV. I can’t imagine how much that will cost at an RV shop and the months to get it done.
I bought a used 2022 Keystone Montana as a repo from a credit union. We had some issues and the credit union fixed all the issues. Love my 5th wheel now that it’s fixed!!
An easy fix for all these problems, stop building crap! Stop selling crap! The customers deserve better!! So RV manufacturers, do better!! Build quality RV’s!! Thanks again Liz! Awesome job!
I agree and it’s because MOST people are middle class and have spent a lot of their hard earned money. It’s criminal when a product isn’t worth the price.
A lot of us such as myself are fascinated with the RV experience, even though I’ve never been camping. If and when I decide to take the next step, I will definitely be ready. For the eight viewers who got buy backs, do the right thing and compensate Liz, she’s earned it!😊 Safe travels everyone, Happy Weekend!!
Hi Liz! GREAT idea regarding the annual RV Consumer Report! My thoughts for overall change and improvement in the RV industry would be for you to testify and bring attention in front of Congress. Advocating for legislation and oversight is probably the only to get RV manufacturers to ensure quality builds.
Thanks Liz. I am subscribed. I watch and “like” every video you put out. You have helped my wife and I not to get into the whole quagmire of RV problems. As seniors, this may have been something that we could have enjoyed. We simply could not handle the stress that could be part and parcel of RV life for us. I don’t know how those that you have featured and actually helped out coped with this whole process. My message to the RV industry………. We are your target potential RV purchasers. We are seniors. We have been blessed financially. We can do what we do “on the road”. We believed in the “dream”. But NOT ON YOUR LIFE!!!!! Until there is no longer a need for Liz’s channel, you will never see a single dollar move from our hands to yours!
Winebago finally stepped up to the plate and done the right thing. I just don't know why they didn't do that in the first place instead of going through all this bs and getting exposed. Thank you Liz, for everything you do for people. I've been watching your videos for years now and I enjoy the content. Keep up the good job of exposing these RV manufacturers and I'll keep watching, liking, and commenting.
I think you have a great idea with a rv consumer group. You have done some amazing things keep it up. As individuals we struggle but as a community we have strength..
A massive lesson learned back in 2007 was taking some of my inheritance and having a 32' Jayco Toy Hauler built. The day we arrived to pick it up was day 1 of pure ownership RV HELL!! Nothing but faulty craftsmanship and non working items so numerous it was beyond belief. That was one thing, but the after sale warranty, company support, and forced 3rd party service locations were the worst part. We put up with that pile of junk for 4 years using it a total of 6 times (this is not an exaggeration) until I just one morning drove to our storage facility, hooked it up and took it to the local commercial & private auction company. Obviously took a huge hit especially never being able to utilize or enjoy the damn thing. Anyway, apologize for the long rant, but this channel gets me so fired up and frustrated at how even worse the dusty has become. I can not tell you how relieved my family gets every time they see an RV going down the road knowing we are long done with that insanity forever. I grew up on a lake and had boats for years. Yeah they are a lot of work, but man oh man I got everything I wanted from every one. Such a sad shame me and my family never truly got the chance to create beautiful lifetime memories going to the MX tracks, various race events, National Park vacations, etc. Every single person I come across that tells me they are thinking of getting an RV gets a sincere earful of "RUN LIKE HELL AWAY!!" I have not known a single RV owner that hasn't had horror stories - not one and that is very sad indeed.
Wow a 2007 and it was that bad! I'm really stunned. I had a 2006, then a 2018, 27ft TT, by forest river, different manufacturing divisions both were really good trailers. But like u i took some inheritance money bought a 42ft fifth wheel in 2018 and i could write a movie script on it's horror story, sold it back to the dealer after having it one year in use but 10 months sitting at repair. Yes i took a slam lose too 😖. But holy cow, i cant tell u how relieved i am knowing it's not my problem anymore! Same feeling i know u get thinking about yours lol! But rving is my thing, so i bought two yrs ago a northern lite truck camper, (full fibreglass body) its had very minor problems, not a big deal n yes no regrets i love it. And yes, gotta stay on top of normal maintenance. Cost me 15G over my budget, but with the experiences comes wisdom of what to look for n what to stay away from 😬. Dam if we only knew before hand huh? Could u imagine if we all wrote a book on our rv horror stories 😱...😂🍻.
I have owned four RVs in the course of my life and NONE were like what you are talking about. So there, you now know 1 person. Seriously, I am very grateful for Liz’s advocacy. My latest RV is a 2016 Reflection from Grand Design and it’s been wonderful. So Cal to Alaska, So Cal to Maine…. We love our RV.
I have been following you for many years and have seen you go through all the stages of RV life. And am so happy that you are a advocate for everyone. The quality control on not only rv's but cars and house appliances has gone away. My FIL just had his 2023 chevy colorado bought back by GM because it had so many problens and they had no clue what was wrong with it. I bought all my new appliances for my new house and in the first year all my samsung appliances needed repair and there are no recalls. Its just crazy that there is no good quality products out there.
I love the idea of an RV consumer guild. I am a loyal subscriber to Consumer Reports and swear by their recommendations on cars and major appliances. This idea is way overdo!! Thank you so much for standing in front of the firing line and advocating for consumers of an industry that has unjustly been allowed to monitor itself (what a laugh) for too darn long!
I've never owned a motorhome and never plan on owning one, but I do enjoy knowing how companies treat their customers and I really enjoy sharing that knowledge with friends, family and whomever else I converse with! Keep up the great work!
I never had a rc either like watch the video on them and glad I saw it before I won that Powerball jackpot 🎰 tonight and I was going to buy one I would probably have to bring me a attorney with me to the dealership and when If u can find one not a 🍋
Liz, what you do is amazing and thank you for taking this effort. Personally, I appreciate the consumer RV group concept. I, however, think that the focus of any RV group, at this time, should be to advocate for legislation to make these RV companies accountable for the products they put out to the consumer. Similar to the automotive industry. Absent the aforementioned, the lawyers for these companies will be issuing all sorts of “cease and desist” letters. Just my 2 cents.
There will definitely be Cease and Desist letters. It’s the #1 routine scare tactic that lawyers use. Those letters are useless and the lawyers know it. They just hope to scare you enough to stop you. As long as there is documentation and truthful evidence we can express ourselves and enjoy the free speech that the internet affords us. The internet is not owned by any person, government or company and there are no regulations on what people can say or do.

I like your idea of RV consumer group.
❤ Build a better product. Simple. Very simple.
Hope they showed you their gratitude in meaningful way.
YAY! Good news! Well done Liz!!
Thanks for the work you do, Liz.
I think it's a great idea. Good job on getting another buyback. You rock Liz amazing ❣️
Group and Buyer’s Guide sound brilliant.
Thank God for Liz❤❤❤
CAN EVERYONE share Liz so we can get her to a million followers??? She is best. We know that.
You’re wonderful Liz!! God Bless!🙏🏾🙏🏾👍👍
I'm in!!! Thank you Liz!!!
I say it every time. The rv industry needs to be regulated. The government regulates every vehicle on the road.
Go Liz keep going
Great work Liz! God bless you.
I love the idea for a consumer report for RV's!
I think you have a great idea with a rv consumer group. You have done some amazing things keep it up. As individuals we struggle but as a community we have strength..
Right you are! Strength in numbers for sure!
RV consumer group , what a neat idea ! We can do this if we all work together!
I love your videos Liz. I think you’re doing a wonderful job!!! 🙏🏻☮️♥️✊🏻
Here’s one. 2016 Arctic Fox by Northwood Manufacturing in OR. Not one problem.
Amazing Liz does it again!
The RV group is an excellent idea !
Thank you for sharing Liz!!
I've never owned a motorhome and never plan on owning one, but I do enjoy knowing how companies treat their customers and I really enjoy sharing that knowledge with friends, family and whomever else I converse with! Keep up the great work!
I never had a rc either like watch the video on them and glad I saw it before I won that Powerball jackpot 🎰 tonight and I was going to buy one I would probably have to bring me a attorney with me to the dealership and when If u can find one not a 🍋
Liz, you are shaping the RV industry to a better level!
Thank God there are still good people to help others. God Bless this channel 😊
Very cool idea. This work is so important and helpful to the rv community.
Liz, your a hero.
This is one smart lady. Awesome.
Great work Liz.
