Not sure if y’all remember, but the MP5 was even OP in the original MWF. It wasn’t a wide spread problem then because everyone was either M16’ing or trying to quick scope, but it fucking melted everyone.
Extra Tip: When using a controller, this game defaults your joystick threshold to 13 or a similar number; it creates a feeling of input delay and clunky response when looking and moving with the joysticks. Go to your controller settings. Go down to “Advanced Settings” and change the threshold to 2 for the left and right joystick. Keep the other settings that are “99” the same. The game instantly felt better and more responsive in multiplayer. Hope this helps someone!

@@mr.ohiostate2544 Plus let’s not forget that they give you the option to exfil after round 10. You don’t need to have a world record for the most rounds your team survived. In fact, you probably don’t want the enemy team to recognize you in PvP multiplayer because if they do, they’ll take you more seriously than they would an average player. Getting the enemy to not properly estimate your skill is an advantage you might want.

The other thing that I saw right away in the secret area at the safehouse, was the striking similarity of the game cabinet text to the infamous Polybius game cabinets. If you guys don't know what that refers to, read the wiki on it. But considering it only lets you play the discovered games through the game, I think it was definitely a missed opportunity, it being in Black Ops and all.

The performance modes can be changed depending on the game. If you are in a racing game you would want performance. If you are in an open world you would want resolution mode.
Counter to the mp5, Bum rush with a shotgun or play the range with a marksman. Alternatively you can knife them till they leave the game. I prefer the latter

Also to Mention, if you have the PS4 version on Disc and want to play it on your PS5... you will need to install it on the internal SSD, installing the PS4 version onto the External HDD will give you issues forcing you to reinstall everytime you install it to the External HDD. (Same goes for Modern Warfare. these 2 games are the only ones with the issue. factory Reset may help, probably not though.) For Cold War, just buy the Upgrade for AU$10/US$10 (yeah the Aussie price is cheaper somehow when you factor in conversion rates) and use that instead, delete the campaign when finished. delete zombies if needed to save space. without any of the installations besides Multiplayer, it becomes around at 80GB.
Yeah I actually never raged during MW, but this game, getting out gunned at range by an MP5, getting out gunned up close with an MP5, Flack jacket people surviving 3 rockets and a nade, Not being able to see anyone on that stupid grass map - it's too arcade for me, but I'll still put days into it because what else am i to do?
I haven't dabbled too much in the MP and Zombies, so I can't really comment on those modes. But I've finished the campaign - and wow! It was honestly the best campaign since BO1 and BO2.
I think " things the game doesn't tell you" shouldn't include puzzle solutions. They are spoilers and if i want the solution to a puzzle I'll search for that separate to a video telling me to increase the fov and turn off ray tracing
2 items from Operation red circus were in different places in my play through. The book in brick in a wall was actually in a different room in a dresser and the watch was in a room where you frame the general

The MP series of guns in call of duty always were amazing at close range & far distance. Was pretty much if you could aim at them accurately you can hit them.
I lied to Adler and personally I think that should’ve been the canon ending, it would’ve set up the story for the sequel and made things more interesting. Instead good guys win woohoo, kinda lame.

The first coded piece of evidence found for Chaos in the first level you don’t ‘get automatically’. You have to let the target live instead of throwing him off the roof to get that piece.
I like the tac rifles and was using the type 63 during a match. Ended with a 2.6 kd and was called cancer from others using mp5 and aks. I can’t help it if i like single/burst more than full auto.
The MP5 is known for being remarkably accurate... for an SMG, as unlike most, it fires from a closed bolt. But nobody is replacing their rifle caliber carbines and designated marksman rifles and sniper rifles with MP5s. Quite the opposite. It’s used by special ops, but notice that the work in Neptune Spear was put in by developments of the M4, despite money effectively being no object for DEVGRU’s armorers. Meaning the price tag of the MP5 is not the explanation. It’s used by SWAT for room clearing largely because 9mm HP doesn’t overpenetrate like crazy in the close quarters they operate at. But even then, 5.56mm patrol rifle is much more of a thing in US law enforcement. And even in France, next door to HK Land, you’ll see soldiers securing n the streets with the FAMAS. Obviously the MP5 should be competitive with other types of weapons in a COD game, and that shouldn’t be just thrown out the window for the sake of realism. But having it outgun entire classes of weapons at ranges where they should be favored is poor game balance, realism or no.
I recommend y’all increasing your field of view by ten points and also turning your ads field of view to independent. This literally made a huge difference in seeing your enemies in multiplayer
Uhh I think number 3 is kinda wrong. You see the MW trilogy is it's own universe, the new MW is the one that takes place in the Black Ops universe since Perseus is in the Warzone storyline of MW2019 and Zakhaev is in MW2019 as well

Honestly, I think the Mp5 is ok so far, base it has 30 rounds but attachments do make that weakness a lot less relevant. I think we should just wait and see how it plays out, I play fighting games, and trust me calling for nerfs this soon is a horrible mistake.

I played on pc for 6 hours straight yesterday, and 8 the day before without a single crash or stutter. My specs aren’t too high end either

The mp5 isn't overpowered I don't even use it no more overpowered than snipers running around quick scoping at close range.
Nah its pretty overpowered considering it can compete at range with the burst and semi auto guns

I like the tac rifles and was using the type 63 during a match. Ended with a 2.6 kd and was called cancer from others using mp5 and aks. I can’t help it if i like single/burst more than full auto.

The reason why the MP5 is the greatest SMG in real-life; maybe Call Of Duty is going for realism with weaponry
The MP5 is known for being remarkably accurate... for an SMG, as unlike most, it fires from a closed bolt. But nobody is replacing their rifle caliber carbines and designated marksman rifles and sniper rifles with MP5s. Quite the opposite.
It’s used by special ops, but notice that the work in Neptune Spear was put in by developments of the M4, despite money effectively being no object for DEVGRU’s armorers. Meaning the price tag of the MP5 is not the explanation. It’s used by SWAT for room clearing largely because 9mm HP doesn’t overpenetrate like crazy in the close quarters they operate at. But even then, 5.56mm patrol rifle is much more of a thing in US law enforcement. And even in France, next door to HK Land, you’ll see soldiers securing n the streets with the FAMAS.
Obviously the MP5 should be competitive with other types of weapons in a COD game, and that shouldn’t be just thrown out the window for the sake of realism. But having it outgun entire classes of weapons at ranges where they should be favored is poor game balance, realism or no.

I recommend y’all increasing your field of view by ten points and also turning your ads field of view to independent. This literally made a huge difference in seeing your enemies in multiplayer

Uhh I think number 3 is kinda wrong. You see the MW trilogy is it's own universe, the new MW is the one that takes place in the Black Ops universe since Perseus is in the Warzone storyline of MW2019 and Zakhaev is in MW2019 as well
It doesn’t te you that it comes with 8 maps, the lowest amount in any cod
Treyarch joined late into the development, so because of that and possibly COVID-19, they couldn’t include as many maps
MW 2019 came with 6 maps, so nope, not the lowest amount in any cod. Also, oldest games also came with 8 maps.

Honestly, I think the Mp5 is ok so far, base it has 30 rounds but attachments do make that weakness a lot less relevant. I think we should just wait and see how it plays out, I play fighting games, and trust me calling for nerfs this soon is a horrible mistake.
