yeah I was slightly confused by that, but ended up rationalizing it as if the Nyantom can see the move coming from a distance, than it has enough time to become intangible, but close quarters makes have no time to react. You could feasibly put it either way with that logic.

10:00 Correction. While Butch Hartman is creator of the shows, the iconic character designs and artstyle of Fairy Odd Parents, Kim Possible and Danny Phantom were made by Stephen Silver.
That maybe true for "Danny Phantom" and "Kim Possible". But in actuality, a majority of "Fairly OddParents" character designs were done by Ernie Gilbert.

Nyantom looks like a relative to Meowstic and I love it.
Now I want a form or evolution inspired by Vlad or Dark Danny.
vlad would have the same type as nyantom since they are the same human/ghost hybrids but different people and dark danny could be a dark and ghost type that would evolve with dusk stone stone at night. that’s my opinion

3:13 Is the "Remember" part based off how the cutaways are like "remember X?"- and the whole "where are those old fashioned family values that we used to rely". I love that.
Its typing is also great, making it not quite weak, nor strong, against either of the Fighting Chickens/Birds in general (Blaziken and Hawlucha).
9:01 As for Makin, maybe the two have "forms" like Basulin. The Ideas-Makin for Phineas and the Craft-Makin for Ferb.

When thinking of Perry, I just think of a platypus Pokémon that doesn’t look like Psyduck for more originality. For Doof, a Pokemon that knows self-destruct that isn’t a balloon like Drifblim, solely to avoid the trauma of Ballooney!
Honestly, a Perry Pokémon kinda makes itself. Platypi turn teal under dark light, Perry's a secret agent, so it's super easy to turn that into a detective-esque platypus Pokémon that uses its electromagnetism (because Platypi have that ability) to create dark light and help bring justice or whatever.
He’s done both SpongeBob and Mr. Krabs, so this is possible
For a part 4 please do yakko, wakko, and dot.
They’d be dark/fairy type in reference to their innocent appearance yet terrifying cunning minds, but also the fact that while they’re willing to wage psychological warfare on anyone who wrongs them, they can’t bring themselves to maliciously hurt anyone, no matter how much they want to.
You could even give them a dynamic similar to Plusel and Minun, where they are capable fighters individually, but are far stronger together.

I really like Makin's lore. It mixes well with the philosophy of this series, tying to the originals but having a twist that feels more in line with an actual Pokemon.
Nyantom being based on Schrodinger's cat is brilliant, love the design, the hard work was worth it in the end! Thanks for sharing!
A lot of people in the comments are already listing potential candidates for the next entry in the series, and I'm seeing lots of characters I love from Amphibia, Owl House, OK KO, Hilda. So how about XJ-9/Jenny from My Life as a Teenage Robot, Lord Dominator from Wander Over Yonder, Bill from Gravity Falls?
Or even more pre-school oriented cartoons like Dora, Wubbzy, Shimmer and Shine?

If Jimmy gets picked, all we’ll need is a Timmy Pokémon for us to have the nicktoons unite cast as a team.
I think the Raven bird might have looked better if the cloak was like a pair of wings folded in on itself. The necklace clasp could be made more into claws, like it's doing an arms crossed stoic type of pose, which leans into the "Superhero" aesthetic, with feathers that stretched around it's back into something that looked like a cloak.
Ooh clever. I like the way ravenger turned out but I would’ve literally make it look more like a leotard on her body
Speaking of Phineas and Ferb, earlier this year I had this one idea for a pair of Steel type gym leaders which are kind of a counterpart to Candice of Snowpoint but instead of being related to her, they just somehow shared names with the characters, meet Tinneas (Tin) and Erb! (Erbium)

With Luz, I'm expecting something along the lines of Mismagius with bones and light. But we would need to incorporate Stringbean and her shapeshifting somehow. And maybe a little Amity.
Hilda would be perfect since the show ended and honestly deserved more recognition.

So would it be one of those three headed Pokemon with one pink head representing Sasha's strength, a green one for Marcy's intelligence, and a blue for Anne's good will? It sounds complex, but it could work!

The Makin was so cute, I actually went "Heck yea!!" when I saw the google search you had up. Also absolutely adore Ravenger, it also sounds like 'revenge'! Perhaps for an idea of cartoon characters to turn into Pokemon, maybe someone from Gravity Falls? I can see a Bill fakemon being incredibly powerful, like a demigod, or maybe a duo-Fakemon based on Mabel and Dipper.
I imagine Bill Cypher to be either Psychic and Fairy type or Dark and Fairy type, or if Pokemon could have 3 types, Psychic, Dark, and Fairy type
Seeing a plant version of Phineas and Ferb imidiately brought me back to that one Phineas and Ferb as stoners animation.
I freaking love Makin, they absolutely have that Phineas and Ferb energy, but now you need a candace Pokémon to round it out! XD
The minute I saw a Pokemon looking like Raven in the thumbnail, I clicked before watching anything else. I actually made a Pokemon team for Raven a few months ago: G-Max Corviknight, Galarian Moltres, Mega Absol, G-Max Grimmsnarl, Spectrier, and Ceruledge (I considered Houndoom, Darkrai, and Giratina, but I think they work better with Trigon and his underworldly theme better)

I'd love a Wallace and Gromet pokemon, but then again they aren't technically cartoons (I think) so I'd understand why that might not happen. Also Charlie Brown/Snoopy would be pretty cool.
Technically any unique kind of animation can technically be cartoonish like stop motion animation for example!!
He could even make Hiccup & Toothless into fakemon.

7:06 I was hoping you would do these two! And you did an incredible job. Little thing I noticed about your designs that you may not have intended, but the two look like they are made from different species of tree. This works perfectly considering how Phineas and Ferb are actually step brothers with no blood relationship. Yet, they are brothers all the same, and this way of depicting them fits that. Great job!
I wish that some day we would see the pokemonized version of Arnold and Helga from Hey Arnold!

Okay I gotta say, the choice of characters used as inspiration this episode is probably my favorite lineup so far! The Ravenger almost reminds me of a fusion between Darkrai and Ceruledge, but also even gives hints of the Mythical Pokémon you created in the past that becomes friends with the Raccoon. Really creative designs as always!
I think their personalities (makin) would be like in the show the Ferb one would be quiet and the Phineas would be talkative
If you haven’t done them yet, I bet the Warner siblings or Pinky and The Brain from Animaniacs would be great! Honestly any Animaniacs character would translate pretty well into a Pokemon IMO

I don't know if it would happen, but twilight sparkle from mlp feels like a good choice for this series. While already a magic creature, you could definitely throw in some different design elements when working with the element of magic elements and the fact she raised a dragon.

I would love to see you tackle a Ben 10 as a Pokemon. It'll probably be a challenge but, I believe you can pull it off
I imagine it to be this gimmick Pokemon like Castform that changes form depending on either it's surroundings, or what item you give it
The base form would be normal type, and all the forms are:
Four-Arms Form: Fighting type
Heat Blast Form: Fire type
Grey Matter Form: Psychic type
Ghost Freak Form: Ghost type
Rip-Jaw Form: Water type
Stink Fly Form: Bug type
Diamond Head Form: Rock type
Excelerate Form: Ground type (I'm not too sure about this one)
Wild Mutt Form: Dark type (I'm not too sure about this one)
Upgrade Form: Electric type
You can fill the other types with any other alien, but a Wild Vine Form being the Grass type would make most sense for me
I don't recall of ATLA was in the cartoon series for being western media or anime series for having heavy anime inspiration, but whichever one that was done for, could probably also be applied to doing a RWBY inspired Pokemon as well.
Ruby Rose, Dark/Grass type, maybe? I dunno.
Still plenty of cartoons to turn into Pokemon, and you're one of the best concept artists for this kind of thing

My favorite show ever is Phineas and Ferb, and I think that the pokemon versions are really clever!

That sounds really cool. The form that emphasizes Ghost can be the Nyantom we see in the video and the form emphasizing normal could be the shiny and have legs. Ghostly Roar could also change like Aura Wheel, the Normal type form getting a status move probably related to stats and the Ghost having it be a powerful special attack.

I feel like a cool idea for nyantom would have been something similar to Marnie’s pikachu where it would switch between ghost or normal based on the turn or randomly. That way it could have the potential to bait super effective fighting moves only to have it not effect it as it switches to ghost.
I think Hooty from The Owl House would make a great Pokemon!

I missed out on the shiny of Remembrute , the colours of Homer Simpson ( alluding to how most American Adult Cartoons being based on The Simpsons).
Also, The Raven based Pokemon should've been Ghost/Fairy or Dark/Fairy ( Fairy alluding to her fantastical origins, as the daughter of an Interdimensional Demon in Trigon and an international Soceress).
I'd love a version of this series where poketubers give you cartoon characters, then react to your creations of their suggestions.

I'm very impressed how the Makin isn't a Steel-Type, kinda emphasizing how Phineas and Ferb don't always seize their days with heavy machinery. And Makin couldn't have been more appropriately timed since Season 5 will be arriving soon! 😁🧡💚
Fun fact to those who don’t know the whole concept of Marty the rabbit boy and his musical blender came from Dan povenmire wanting to do a visual gag with the silhouette of the boys. So literally he just took the basic outline of phineas and ferb and drew a random character
I'd love to see the Video Game Characters series tackle a Nimbat Pokémon, like Fidget from Dust: An Elysian Tail! You did Ori already and they tend to get paired together in fanworks, plus Fidget is already kinda like a Pokémon anyhow.

Super cool designs! The only critique I have is that Ravenger doesn't need that ponytail. Keeping the hood design from TTG would've sold the resemblance better.

I have a shiny Alolan Muk I named after Amity. I could've just done it on a regular Muk, but thankfully, this Alolan one was shiny, and the green stripe on its normal coloring turns purple in the shiny, referencing Amity's hair change! Love Lumity 💙💜
Now I want Ravenger, Makin and Nyantom in my arsenal. Well done! I also enjoyed Peter Griffin as a Pokemon.
These are such amazing design exercises. You need it to read as a Pokémon but also still be recognizable as the original character and you always do great with them
