COMMON QUESTIONS:
Q: What will happen if I do this?
A: All local data, like your downloads, and background will be reset.
Q: Will this work for a school chomebook?
A: Probably not. I explain why towards the end of the video.
Q: This didn't work! What do I do?

I'm a computer tech who never works on chromebooks. I was giving one who the client wants to give to a friend but, it has a password that the client forgot. Needless to say, I didn't know how to reset a Chromebook until I type"How To Reset A Chomebook" This wonderful gentleman who's channel I'm now on, showed how easy it is to reset the chromebook. He's right, I just tried resetting my school computer and nothing changed, all the school settings were still active lol. Its cuz the school set them up with pre determined verified settings and the factory reset always resets the computer to its verified settings.

I’m here because I left the school I was at and was never able to return the loaner computer. I thought why not try to reset it
As soon as you reconnect the ChromeBook to any WiFi, the CB will download the policy from google and as soon as it is restarted, which it will do automaticly, you would need to log in with your school or work account.

There is a red sign out button click that and sign into Ur Gmail probably works but haven't tried it if I get caught the skl will tell my parents then I'm fucked 🤷🤷

I had my last day of school a couple days ago and my school let us keep the chrome books and I would get a new one next year (I just graduated middle school so I’ll get a new one in freshman year). They told us all the restrictions and stuff would be taken off but they still haven’t done anything and I’m impatient so I’ve decided to do it myself. When I do it will everything including my school email and any other important school things be deleted completely? Will I be able to log into my school email on my new chromebook if I wipe this one?
Well if they wipe every thing it will be likly that they will wipe your school account to if they did remove it you should be fine to logg into your own account
