I bought a laptop from a guy who restores homes,he got it from a burnout...it worked,I took it home,it died,bought a new charger and because I am dumb I couldn't for the life of me remember the password (only having used it once) so now I have a laptop that I can't use,spent 250 on it(originally was prob 1000-1500)and every week that goes by I feel like it's loosing value... hopefully this will work...I even thought about finding the woman that owned it prior to me an trying to get the ow from her,lol,but I don't want to stalk someone who lost their home,got bought out by insurance and who knows what else for 250$....

Can confirm, still works in 2021. I couldn't ad or remove anything from my personal laptop cus it belonged to a family friend who forgot both her password and the admin pin. Now, it's actually mine and I can ad anything I want! Thanks man!

Worked for my newer Hp laptop as well 🤘🏼 after clicking left clicking The Shift - left click the Battery then the Power Button becomes visible - left click that and continue on with the instructions ( for newer Hp laptops )

I have an HP with windows 8.1 which I have someone in the household used it for a long time, returned it but forgot my password. Hard as I did to recover to no avail, found you on you tube, followed your instructions step by step and voila, just now at hurry up and wait mode. I'll do a follow up progress when it's done! Patience my boy!!!!

I purchase a laptop on ebay with NO hard drive . Took another hard drive out my old laptop and put it in my new ebay laptop running windows 7 . Follow your procedure and it work the same way !
