Mangum's Dragon Tail fly pattern was originally created to catch the largest, pickiest tarpon. Catch tarpon, stripers, largemouth and smallmouth bass, musky, and pike. The pattern utilizes a head that moves water and creates a water column behind that allows the tail to move and dance. Equally impressive is how the fly behaves when it is sitting in the water.
