I believe moonshine harley was taking out or altering the counter balancer to boost engine braking, but it should also put some vibes back into the machine
I completely agree. Thinking of going back to a twin cam for that more traditional Harley feel. It had more soul in my opinion

M8 is very smooth sounding. Very modern. Twin cam sounds wild, more banging and shaking and mechanical noise

My old twin cam with gear drivin cam, 2 into 1 D and D sounded like a 350 v8 big block awesome.
Now my M8 stage 4, 2 into 1 D and D with cam.
Very nice, but not as good as the twin cam. I miss it.

But I have no doubt the Low Rider S is a sweeter running and handling Bike.....I have a Dyna and a Fatboy and it is so nice to have options.....Both Bikes are really nice I cant wait to see what you do with the dyna....mine is old school but the Dyna Bro look is tempting.....the problem is everyone is doing it so they all look the same..Happy new year ! PS.....love the DYNA Shake............

Dec.21, 2020 traded my 2018 FXLR. Upgrade to a 2020 FXLRS. Saddlemen black on black , diamond tufted seat is in the mail. Rah! I'm stoked.
103 sounded better to my ears.
Both sound mean, but the twinkie takes it all day long. And that says alot considering its 11" smaller. Thx for turning the music down during the motors running. 👍🏾 btw add an fxr to the garage and you'll be a complete human in my book.
Twin cam for sound over the M8, however a twin cam v an EVO?? 🤔... I'd say an EVO might have the edge.
Twin Cam sound made the hair on my arms stand up! Twin for the win, but think the M8 is a sweeter looking bike overall.

Vote bas to go to the Twin Cam. I find the "liquid cooling sound" you hear besides the exhausts always annoying.
An engine with extra cams will always sound meaner.
M8 sounds like a Honda twin cam sounds a little better. But I'll stick to my twin cam 88 with the 95 ci kit carburetor and nasty bastard exhaust nothing pisses off ev drivers better.
I have 2020 fatbob with a S&S 465cam and TBR turn out exhaust, and it sounds like your twin cam 😂
The M8 is more refined. The twin cam sounds meaner.
There is a definite difference, but they both sound great.
The Milwaukee 8 is an amazing engine one twist to throttle and it outputs so much torque. It's like the fist of god is pushing you back into the saddle. However, for style, sound, and feel, the twin cam can not be beaten. I don't care what pipes you throw on a twin cam. It sounds mean as hell.

I just bought a used 2016 heritage softail with TC 103 HO over a 2024 with M8 for a reason 😂. I don’t care who’s faster or has more power. The 103 sounds like a HARLEY. And I don’t buy Harley’s to win races.

I have had both (still have the M8). I prefer the M8, both great but the M8 to me is the superior
