- VN24 - 16-06-2022 - Beckum A2 / Germany - Around 04:50 h, an accident initially occurred on the A2 freeway in the eastbound direction (to Hanover) only about 600 meters behind the roadhouse Vellern. In the process, a 23-year-old passenger car driver collided with a mobile home for reasons that have not yet been explained. The motor home continued its journey and stopped only a few hundred meters behind the accident site at the edge of the road. The blue passenger car remained alone damaged across and partially on the right lane, the driver got out of the vehicle. At that moment, the 61-year-old driver of a truck approached and had to swerve to avoid the transversely parked car. In the process, the semitrailer obviously swung up, the entire truck overturned and came to rest on its roof in a ditch. The trailer was completely destroyed and the loaded refrigerated food of a supermarket poured into the ditch and onto a field. The driver of the truck was rescued from his cab by eyewitnesses and first responders. He was taken to hospital with injuries, but according to witnesses he was able to leave the hospital and is well under the circumstances. The salvage of the truck dragged on well into the afternoon and was later interrupted by the highway maintenance department. The last cleaning work and the salvage of the food could be continued and terminated only on the following day.

Fakt ist und sofern er diesen Beruf weiter ausübt, daß er diese hirnrissige Fahrweise künftig unterlässt und sich angewöhnt vorausschauend und mit Verstand fährt. Das hat auf alle Fälle einen bleibenden Eindruck hinterlassen und Respekt eingefloest. Die Physik verzeiht keine Fehler. In diesem Fall hat dieser Fahrer höllisch Schwein gehabt, was das Überleben angeht. Mich regen solche Fahrer einfach nur auf!!!

What I like to see is how much of the work we used to do by hand with perhaps 20 men involved is now carried out much more safely with the use of cranes. Still hard work but must be far less casualties.

Die werden abgeschrieben, und kommen nicht in Verkauf. Die werden vernichtet- oder hast du Lust ne zerquetsche Dose Champignons bei Rewe zu kaufen.? Mit Flutwein war es etwas anders.

@@kleinerstubentiger Was meinst du, was das für ein Aufwand für die Bergungsgesellschaft ist. Und wird nicht bezahlt. Zudem kommen noch behördliche Auflagen (Du kennst Deutschland nicht) dazu. Die Ware ist durch die Versicherung abgechrieben. Das heiß auch, sie darf nicht mehr verkauft, oder Angeboten werden. Selbst umsonst nicht! Das ist so ähnlich wie bei den Retouren von Amazone. Die wandern meist in die Tonne. Der Aufwand ist zu teuer und zu groß. Vernichten ist billiger! Ist so- leider!

Mich würde mal Interessieren, ob die Bergungsmannschaft das Recht haben, die Autobahn zu sperren? Ich sehe weit und breit keine Polizeiabsperrung- sowie Krankenfahrzeuge. Feuerwehr ist auch in Halteposition nicht zu sehen. Ansonsten ist der Langhaar Opa auch in anderen Videos zu sehen. Klasse Typ!

Ich hab da einmal eine blöde Frage....wenn man während der Bergung etwas von der Ladung trinkt oder isst...ist es dann Diebstahl oder Mundraub oder straffrei?
Es ist Diebstahl. Wenn ein sogenannter Havarie Kommissar vor Ort ist und entscheidet, dass die Ware vernichtet wird, ist es immer noch Diebstahl. Nur wenn er die Ware wirklich frei gibt sieht es anders aus. Es gebietet sich aber, sich nicht daran zu bedienen.

I guess that driver violated my cardinal rule of driving tractor trailers, never swerve to avoid something I say again never swerve. I used to tell people in my military unit never do that hit whatever cut you off but never jackknife or swerve that truck. Whatever cut in front of you and whoever's in it are expendable, by jackknifing or swerving the truck you in danger the lives of innocent people and vehicles around you and yourself
Well, I can’t follow your arguments. If I’m in that situation I would try to save car drivers life too. You can’t say that truck driver do stupid, he maybe looks into his camera mirrors before he swerve.
For myself I can’t drive no longer if I killed somebody if I have a chance to avoid this.
It’s only damaged a Truck + Trailer, maybe 120.000€ (125.000$) but all 3 victims are on life.

I agree with some of the comment or both if and only if you have time to look in the mirror if there's no one else in danger it's only your truck that can be replaced but if other vehicles are in danger if your trailer turn sideways you hit the one that cut you off if it's a fatality that's collateral damage. Never and I told all my drivers in the military never endanger innocent vehicles

If I’m younger, maybe I reacted like you wrote, but I’m now end 50’s and for sure, I better damaged my Truck and Trailer ( into Germany most of us have no own Truck and drive for company’s ) as I killed any human. All damages will be paid by insurance but a life you can’t pay with any money.

Warum wird ein 40tonner so zerschmettert bei einem Überschlag? Weil Zugmaschine und Auflieger nichts wiegen dürfen damit man mindestens 25-28 Tonnen laden darf. Zugmaschine 7,5 Tonnen und Auflieger leer höchstens 8 Tonnen.
Bevor man solche Kommentare äußert sollte man sich erstmal mit Physik befassen. Technische Datenblätter und Gewichte kann man bei jedem Hersteller einsehen. Ich meine nur wegen der Leergewichte

Is upgraded with every salvage. At the latest in the salvage company, the truck is put back on its wheels. To avoid further damage, it makes sense to remove the drive shaft.

Zum Glück ist dem Fahrer fast nichts passiert, auch wenn das Fahrerhaus etwas deformiert aussieht, da war noch genug Überlebensraum vorhanden. Schade um den neuwertigen LKW, so etwas ist ja auch teilweise ärgerlich! Hoffentlich hat der Christian mir auch ein paar Konserven für schlechte Zeiten mitgebracht...😂
Why did it end up upside down? This does not make sense.When trucks overturn by right they only should fall on their side & go no further Something is not right somewhere.
When 40 ton of canned food (well, ~25 ton cargo) come to a dead stop from 80 km/h physics take over and it goes rolling. Looks like he didn't try to slow down (or much at all) before he went for the ditch. They rarely stop on their side once they go off the road

Eins verstehe ich nicht. Die müssn die Ladung bergen, damit der LKW geborgen werden kann, so weit klar. Warum nimmt man die Kartons nicht gleich so, dass man die auf die herumliegenden Paletten stapelt und einstretcht? So schmeißt man die auf die Seite, damit die nachher ein Bagger oder Radlader in einen Container schiebt. Ist mir unverständlich.
