I try to remember that the jury have way less information that we do - they haven't had the media and lawyers on the internet explaining the court procedures / evidence etc day by day , they are not aware of the FBI Investigation, they have not been able to discuss this with anyone until now - they only know what they have been presented with in court. To me, the conduct during the investigation and lack of investigation and evidence would be enough for me to vote not guilty - but that's not the same for everybody. I have wondered if the defence presenting an alternate theory was necessary and has made this more difficult for the jury. Would we be here if they just methodically disproved the prosecutions case , I'm not sure.
