If the car didn't hit.... They must acquit! The prosecution didn't bring a shred of evidence proving Karen's vehicle hit him. Their "expert" was an insult to our common sense and the defense brought the most credible witnesses they could find that ALL testified Karen's vehicle couldn't have struck him. NOT GUILTY on all counts!
Those defense experts called by the defense were provided and paid by the FBI. The prosecution could have called them to the stand themselves, but of course these experts refuted the whole basis of the prosecution case. The trooper "expert" used by the prosecution was an embarrassment on the stand. No surprise that he was about the 56th witness the prosecution called to the stand. He knowledge isn't even at a high school level.

You know how John Okeefe was killed? There was a fight in the basement. I believe it was between Colin and John or Brian and John possibly. Most likely all three. During the commission of this fight the dog attacked. This happened to me, sort of. My husband and I got into a fight once where we were yelling at each other. I moved towards my husband in what OUR dog perceived as aggressive and he moved towards me growling. Clearly he thought of himself as my husband’s dog/protector. It was startling to us both. He didn’t bite me but he clearly was protecting my husband by growling and moving towards me. If I had made a move he would have attacked, I guarantee it! The German shepherd did the same thing, but actually attacked because it was a physical altercation. I think they dumped the body on the law with the intent of blaming the snowstorm/snow plow/etc. My husband doesn’t believe with how men act that John left that house alive. I wonder if John somehow got out alive but ended up passing out from his injuries and freezing and dying from the brain swelling. My theory actually makes more sense to me because they may have thought he was alive, just badly beaten not thinking they killed him. I think the google search did happen and it was with realization he had passed out on lawn. When the body was discovered, I truly only think a couple or maybe 4 people knew what had actually happened. But to their luck, their house wasn’t searched, they weren’t questioned and Karen just happenstance became the scapegoat. It was a collusion of people not doing their jobs, looking the other way, doing some favors, etc but not some massive conspiracy. It only takes a couple people to have a conspiracy and then side players to not question too deep to make this a crime to get away with. Those are dog bites, without a doubt. John’s head injuries were from some sort of beating. Also, my husband said that those Albert men and their connections would be intimidating to even seasoned Canton police officers. It’s easier to just go along to get along. MA is a very VERY corrupt state, we’ve lived there. These small towns and all their townies look out for each other, it’s like a different world. Karen was smart, pretty and an outsider. She fell in their lap when this all went down but they couldn’t stand her to begin with (trust me on this! I was an outsider) so it was the perfect fall guy/gal!
Your theory sounds very plausible except that the retired doctor with 13000 autopsies who testified for the defense on the last day stated that the injury to the back of the head would render him unconscious and that he would not regain consciousness due to brain bleeding. Therefore, he was already unconscious in the basement and never came to. I don't think they moved him outside until at least 5:30 am when they knew he was dead.
If you had watched the whole trial, you would know that the defense didn't prove any of those allegations. However, the prosecution proved John's DNA was on the taillight, his hair was on the SUV, and taillight pieces were found at the crime scene. Also, no dog DNA was found on John's shirtsleeve.
Lally changed his theory of the case, made up "facts", omitted other evidence and misstated testimony throughout his whole monotone closing statement! This was his chance to connect the dots for the jury, and yet he chose to drop the ball.

As a defense attorney he has successfully defended numerous clients in high profile cases. He doesn't take cases that he can't win. When he joined this defense team last fall, the DA should have thought twice about taking this to trial.

11:49 That is exactly how the right taillight should look like when Trooper paul , proctor and yuri was shown photos of karens car in court by lally. With all the red pieces on the right taillight from the left side to the right of the taillight still there and only partially cracked, because that is how it looked like before it arrived in sally port, it looekd like that when karen hit johns car it was partially cracked. Instead Lally showed photos to Proctor, yuri and especially trooper paul the severly damaged taill light, the photo trooper paul took after proctor, berkowiz and yuri removed all the red taillight pieces from karens right taillight and left only one small tiny piece of red taillight attached. This removal of the red pieces is the 9 minutes of footage that disapeared from the sallyport CCTV video . All three of them testified that that karens car when arriving to sallyport had only the small red piece on her vehicle and the rest of the taillight was not there, which is complete BS , because as you can see in this video the photo on the right which is in sally port when karens car arrived , all the red taillight pieces are there on her car in sally port. But then in vanished when trooper paul took photos because he arrived later when proctor and berkowiz left sallyport with the broken taillight pieces to go and plant them in the snow.

With all the red pieces on the right taillight from the left side to the right of the taillight still there and only partially cracked, because that is how it looked like before it arrived in sally port, it looekd like that when karen hit johns car it was partially cracked.
Instead Lally showed photos to Proctor, yuri and especially trooper paul the severly damaged taill light, the photo trooper paul took after proctor, berkowiz and yuri removed all the red taillight pieces from karens right taillight and left only one small tiny piece of red taillight attached. This removal of the red pieces is the 9 minutes of footage that disapeared from the sallyport CCTV video .
All three of them testified that that karens car when arriving to sallyport had only the small red piece on her vehicle and the rest of the taillight was not there, which is complete BS , because as you can see in this video the photo on the right which is in sally port when karens car arrived , all the red taillight pieces are there on her car in sally port. But then in vanished when trooper paul took photos because he arrived later when proctor and berkowiz left sallyport with the broken taillight pieces to go and plant them in the snow.
