Wow she pulls like no other, nice bubby, 28in bar would work also too right? Always good to get your info bubby. A powerful saw, can't wait to see when it breaks in. She sweet saw there. Someone going to have fun with that 1 there. 😊 shot if I had the extra money I wish I could send my, but it need a new top end and coil, and rebuild on the carburetor also, but again nice saw, and amazing port work bubby
as a tree guy, respect! thanks for content, run 90% stihl couple huskys looking to add a few echo to the arsenal. 2 question if you entertain. 590 or 4910 for ground work? how do you paint hoods black? spray paint never holds on plastic for me!
I picked up a non-running ligthly used 600P with a brand new piston and cylinder for under a Benjamin that is going to get the full mod treatment. Can't wait
Hey Boedy. If you add a 620 coil with the ignition advance key will you be adding too much advance? The key is good for 6 degrees and the 620 coil goes to 8 degrees. Also that 590 I believe is rpm limited to 12,500 rpm. Are seeing that much rpm in the cut?
Probably would have been perfect. But after talking with the guy I built it for, I'm very glad I took the timing out. His previous saw lasted him almost 30 years doing firewood duty. This will be an outstanding replacement.
I run my 620P (not ported, but muffler modded, filter modded, jet swapped) with an 8 pin and love it. I have to have the whole 24 buried in hardwood and reefing on it to miss the 7pin. If I ever run a bigger bar on it i'll use the 7pin but right now it's just right for me.
@@novicelumberjackthe jet can be had for under $2. Also it is my understanding that the stock jet is drilled the way it is to keep the saw from being tuned to lean. It is not specifically to limit revs.
@@richhoffman432when you lean out a 2 stroke they rev more rpm. The drilled jet will not allow you to lean out the saw properly for optimum power unless you are at sea level.
I don't know if it's where they just take a minute to heat up or what.. but even Echo recommends doing the tune AFTER they are hot. If you final tune one in the first couple cuts, and then do a big stump cut or buck a whole tree (firewood) it'll be singing over the moon. Tune it hot. It'll be gurgley until it gets some heat built up but long term its the right call. Plug color agrees.
Definitely could tell she was way happier with the advance taken out. Great work man and whoever the owner is will be amazed 👍🏻
Hey T-Dubb
"Japanese actually"🤣👍🏻
Great saws. So glad I picked the 620 over comparable stihl's and husqvarna's.
This saw is great. I honestly was not expecting it to perform so well.
Good torque on that one💪🏽
You could ship it off to iron horse 🐎 for a fine tuning 😅
You're write Boedy. I have not done anything to my 590, except for the Redbeard filter. It changed the saw completely.

Echo has a lifetime warrant on their coils
Verry nice Écho 590

Love my 590.great bang for the buck
Great saws

Great saw i bet the owner will enjoy it

Good job 👍🏽
Nice saw BP!

😮 comment from me 😊
i've herd others say you rotate the flywheel counterclockwise to advance the timing

That will be too much advance, it wont be happy if it even runs at all like that
🙋♀️Boedy, another one in the bag!
Thanks Amber!
Beats a MS311 by far. Cheaper, torquier and looks great too.
I like my echo saws but love my shindawia
The 620P and the Makita 6100P have both impressed me very much. They perform better than my MS 362 with 24-25" bars.

I wonder how it would act with an 8 pin sprocket

Saw needs a propper pipe bad besides that it sounds good
Put it up against the Direwolf.
I have to wonder why you choose to deal with the JB weld vs changing that $7 jet?
because JB weld works just as good, I keep it in stock in my drawer, and pretty much doesn't cost anything.

@@richhoffman432lot easier 2 use jbweld than beat that jet out and beat the plug in, same results. Work smarter not harder
@@TightWad1 I changed out that nozzle in several 620s it's not a big deal. To each his own.
Put the wemars up against it
Is it a noker cylinder 😂
Those saws are hard to tune. It’s a video I know but sounds rich on the low. The electronic tunes are borderline lean.

32:1 an 40:1 is ok to either is way better then 50:1 in my experience.
Nice saw only if it started should get a sthil lol
Good idea, pay twice as much 4 half the saw WTF another Stihl fan boy 🤦♀️

What a joke lol
What is the joke?
