Agreed. But I think the G56 Camaro is a tied. I still cannot tell which one I love better. Though I gotta give a shout out to the Camaro for those monstrous downshifts with that sequential gearbox. Something about a big, angry, high revving V8 with paddle shift gears is a mean sound. But both cars are both epically raw and aggressive.

When some people say that sound isn't that important for motorsports, they need to see this. Iconic sounds are what draw people to racing in the first place. We must keep this alive, hybrid or not.
If the street Cadillac V-powered sounded like this, I think performance enthusiasts would be kicking the doors down to buy one.
F1 2014 is a great example. That sound was just depressing after the V-10, and V-8 era.
not really as long as the racing is great, example le mans this year toyota vs ferrari both running v6 and its a hybrid

@@fancy3774 marketing does that too, but Ferrari didn't run a V8 and how much hype that was because it's Ferrari. Le mans is more than just sound.

Please don't underestimate how important sound is for racing...it's what draws people to the sport and what makes it the spectacle it is. I stopped watching F1 because of their horrible choice of powerplant. It sounds like the people at Cadillac understand this importance really well. Great job!

Sound is the last part you would care. Racing is what attracts people
The best is when they have all the epic car sounds but basically mute them and turn the commentator volume to 1000%, a lot of WEC and GT races seem to have this problem. F1 they are almost actually completely muted in highlight vids lol

Racing is racing regardless of the sound. Formula E is very quiet, but it's still one of the best motorsports.

I was at Le Mans last year for the 100th anniversary and seeing Cadillac on the podium was one of the best times ever!!! Hearing them throughout the night was just Awesome!!! NO ONE sounded better!!!!
