I remember hating the tedious process of cable management so I was going to hire GeekSquad to come to my house to put it together for me. When I asked them if I need to provide the thermal paste, they didn't know what thermal paste was and put me on hold for 10 minutes to figure out what I was trying to ask. it was at that point I cancelled the appointment and decided I would just do it myself. And now I'm here.
I would never trust anyone else to build my PC. They'll probably waste time so you pay more, if they demand hourly wage and they're probably not going to take extra care to make sure your parts won't be damaged in the process.
Geeksquad seem to be a subsidiary and general helpline for bestbuy tech, I doubt they give them much training aside from being able to handle warranties and returns for faulty goods. Their trustpilot rating seems to confirm it

Yeah I remember watching this a few years ago when I built my first gaming pc, took the whole day to build lmao

Great tutorial! I like the systematical way you planned everything and put everything together, keeping the next steps in mind to avoid problems. It's also nice to be informed about possible obstacles at every step. In my opinion this is a perfect tutorial which is focused on the most important things. Will definitely recommend this one to diy PC builders.

I got this for my birthday recently and it was a tremendous update from a 10 y.o. Wacom Bamboo graphics pad. I use this as a hobby, not professionally.
The size provides plenty of working space and it is lightweight for its size.
The screen is vibrant bright and has all the detail I need.
The drawing experience is fantastic - smooth, accurate, and no lag on a 2015 macbook pro using either photoshop or illustrator.
The pen is very comfortable to use and the pressure sensitivity is excellent and adjustable. Shortcuts customisable.
I recommend buying a 2-finger drawing glove as it helps in drawing smooth, longer lines because your hand won't stick to the screen at all.
It would be a lot easier with touch input to pan/zoom, and also helpful if the Cintiq was compatible with a handheld remote with shortcuts. In saying this, being the lighter version, this is totally worth the money. Although the stand should be included with the device in my opinion. :)
I wasn't actually aware it needed a computer to run but I always use it at home anyway and PC software is better to work with, I am extremely happy with this after one month of use and have invested in a 17" laptop case to protect it. (Posted on 5/06/2019)

Definitely needed better lighting at certain points, but good video anyway haha. One point you missed is that if you only have two sticks of RAM, they should be installed in either the 1st and 3rd slot, or 2nd and 4th. They are usually colour coded. I haven't built a PC in ages, so I'm not sure if that's still a thing though...
Yea lighting to look into the case especially when he was connecting things would be great. The black on black made it hard to see the exact placement. But like you said awesome video anyway
absolutely. i wish he used an all white setup and parts. or at least headlight
You should leave a slot near the CPU empty if you have two sticks and put the other one one slot away from the first one

I'm just about to build my PC in the next couple days. I'm hella nervous about breaking a connector by accident.
@@OganySupreme That probably will not happen.
This video made my friend, who built his pc, way less anxious about it since He could see what he had to do close up. Thanks Linus.
Thanks for uploading in 4k, considering this was in 2019 pretty impressed.
Awesome stuff. It's been like 6 years since I fully assembled a pc and I used this video to assemble a pc for my wife for our 2 year anniversary. She can play all the sims 4 and dinner dash she wants

Lmao
Yeah bro like I totally have a ram storage ware house in my back yard
Pfft...LOL, Yeah just gotta casually pick up some ram from there, everyone has got one of those aye? right..? RIGHT?
Only poor people don't have it if you don't have it you be broke
Or you could just download some if you dont have that
Everyone at the Verge "Aahh, so thats how it done"
I promise you, that's not what's happening. They have never, and I doubt will ever, watch a proper build guide.
Nah, they'll just send a copyright violation to LTT. They'd claim ALL build guides are intellectual property of The Verge, and tell them to take it down before anyone makes mistakes learning from an "amateur".

Watching so many pc build videos without ever actually having the budget to build one lol
My favorite pastime 🤣🤣
Buy used parts and get going🙂
Thanks for this video, we moved my computer in pieces and with this video we successfully put it together.
he explains things like a perfectly clear instruction manual, and he's not even reading a script - what a legend
He's not reading a script because he's a very experienced pc builder and knows how to do everything off the top of his head.
This is the first POV video where I didn't just fast-forward to the end.
@@dominictan8472 you just copied the top comment
Probably a voice over
@ If you see his hand movements and his mic you can tell it’s not a voiceover.
Unusual to watch a POV video without feeling ashamed of myself after I've lost interest in it

Didn't knew about the anti-static strap. Currently gathering parts for a new build (first one I assemble myself).
Probably saved me a few hundred bucks worth of paper weight!
Thank you so much! about to build my first PC, all parts here, and now I am ready thanks to you)
This video just happened to come out the same day I was going to build my PC. It was fate. This video was for me.
When Ryzen has overtaken Linus' videos so much that Intel must pay to show in any video at all.
I know bro, it's very sad indeed. Remeber good old times when you had to buy expensive Intel i7 CPU to game?
Feels like years ago...

Awesome. Thank you very much. Great video! It was a bit hard to see with the lack of lighting on almost all black.
This is the only video which I didn't run on 2x or jump around here & there.
Somehow I found this video wholesome for some reason. Idk...
Thank you for covering each & every itty bitty information as I've never built one. This makes me more in-tune with your latest build video as well.

Another thing: instead of putting the screws that hold the side panels in on the case in the tray, you can re-screw them back in the holes and that way you always know where they are
So yeah, After watching your videos for a long time back then and back to watching you again. Your voice hits my string of nostalgia. Love it 💕
