Out of all the episodes of House Hunters I've watched, this couple strikes me as the most likely to get divorced. They get along poorly with each other and the guy was acting like a straight up petulant child while viewing the first house. There was a complete lack of ability to compromise, making me wonder how smart of an idea it was for them to be married, especially when their tastes were so extremely opposite. Honestly, at times, they seemed to strongly dislike each other and were only concerned if their own wish lists were met. I'm no relationship expert by any means, but generally, good couples have a natural flow/chemistry between them, even if with their disagreements. This couple lacked that. I would be legitimately surprised to find they're still married to each other in May 2017. Or, perhaps I'm just reading too much into this.

True, but some come with amenities and such (pools, fitness, etc). In a townhouse or condo, sometimes the expenses are less than a house. Some don't want to keep up with the maintenance. It really depends.

Matthew wanted a garage (one of his biggest "must-haves" during our search), and the kitchen was the biggest thing for me. Boring, normal couples don't get filmed.

House 1 had a lot of beauty but a long commute. I like the idea of a wood burning fireplace and a Christmas Tree window. I would not feel safe walking through the alley to get to House 2 (The Townhouse) which is 35,000 over budget. What is the HOA for this Townhouse. The Townhouse looked sterile. House 3 is a house for the Dogs.
