This company is going down and I mean quick! Due to Covid-19 they are cutting as many leases as possible to cut their losses. No one is booking Airbnb, therefore they can not afford to pay landlords their cut! There’s a Facebook group where everyone is telling their horror stories - search “Loftium”. They just broke a 3 year lease agreement with our LL, therefore we have to move out. Instead of the stated 90 approx days notice, we received 60 days and now have to plan a move out in the middle of a crisis where no moving companies are available. When we first signed the lease with Loftium we asked the likelihood of being able to renew after a year. We were told they had a 3 yr lease with our landlord so the likelihood was high and sounded stable. Otherwise we never would have signed! We planned to stay here multiple years. We searched a very long time for a place to rent that had what we needed. Loftium specifically told us and was a part of their pitch that this place was stable. A couple of days ago, we receive a frantic call from our landlord telling us Loftium is breaking their 3 year lease. Loftium told Them this over the phone. At that point we heard nothing from loftium and were very shocked. I had to contact loftium myself for any information! At that point they told me we had to be out when our lease ends in 60 days. I inquired about a lease renewal 30 days ago and they just got back to us with the great news we have to leave. The CEO has not addressed hosts or landlords at all but have seen publications she has talked to - interesting. You should talk to your customers first. As hosts we see that and it’s extremely unprofessional. We’ve only gotten very vague emails for “options” from their employees. And every host is getting different information on what to do with their situation - some worse than others. But we should’ve known because throughout the entire experience the communication from Loftium was lacking. They’ve just now emailed us we are allowed 1 day before and after bookings to prep and allow the virus to disappear which will not help as the virus lives longer than that. Wow thank you. It’s very sad how late this company addresses major issues. If that wasn’t enough, if any guest complains and reports the host, Airbnb then removes you from the platform. And guess what that means? You’re no longer able to fulfill your duty as a host and loftium can kick you out. Research this on reddit. The stories are HORRIBLE. Airbnb can kick you off the platform with no details or information. It’s not secure and stable. Any Airbnb guest can complain and ruin your whole living situation. We had that scare with a guest over a ridiculous accusation and it was not fun getting our account back. Do not sign an agreement with a company that relies on another company for stability! If it’s too good to be true, it is.

And the dogs should have held out until they got a double bed and an en suite bathroom although if there was only a shower they could have demanded a woofa to clean with. Nice burglar door though at the back window. Maybe the dogs should have bought the house and made he and his wife life in a dog house outside with a people door into the house. Go for location and lot size, especially with dogs and/or kids. Everything else about the house can be changed. With the way prices have been skyrocketing in Seattle, I'll be they're very glad they bought when they did. No way could they buy this house for under $400K now.

The kitchen, the dog room, the commute, and the large yard. That is the reason why they chose this UGLY, cheap looking house. They paid 26,000 extra to buy this house. Why?. House 1 had a lot of beauty but a long commute. I like the idea of a wood burning fireplace and a Christmas Tree window. I would not feel safe walking through the alley to get to House 2 (The Townhouse) which is 35,000 over budget. What is the HOA for this Townhouse. The Townhouse looked sterile. House 3 is a house for the Dogs.
