4:27 Colin O'Donoghue, who played the role of Prince Phillip of Bavaria also starred in Once Upon a Time with Sarah Bolger. I am not sure if they shared a scene in OUAT.
She’s so well cast. She was an immature and frivolous woman. You have to feel for her because she was graceful but simple, and the actress nailed it, while making her likable and relatable.
Poor Mary kept getting dangled out there like a carrot anytime there was an alliance to be made. She didn’t get married until she was much older but was engaged as a child.
I love to see a happy Mary for once!! Though next time I would recommend that you try to stretch these scenes out for a few seconds so that the audience can feel the moment and not immediately be jolted to the next shot.
@@HananeAbbane-tp1jyI always thought Pole would have been a good choice to have married her young. They were both intelligent and religious. There blood would United Tudor, York and Lancaster bloodlines.
Mary's digs at Regina George were epic! She knew what her father was all about. It would have been funny if she said "The King likes pretty girls and has a tendency to think with the wrong organ. What are you, wife number five? Number four had the fortune to get a good divorce deal, I hope you're smart enough to do the same when it's your time."
@MikoMiko-ud1rh I THINK Henry wanted Anne to be burned alive at first for her "crimes," but he allowed her to be beheaded. Some believe that both Henry and Mary had syphilis (Mary's was transmitted by her mother through childbirth). Both were cruel & paranoid. Catherine had many miscarriages, also.
yeah she married philip of spain (who then made the spanish armada try to invade england but got defeated by elizabeth, who mary named as her heir to the throne before she passed) but she couldn’t have children.
Put yourself in Mary’s shoes. Your new stepmother and Queen of England is barely a 17 year old girl. Look how she acts when she confronts Mary about disrespecting her with her hands on her hips 😂 In Mary’s eyes she wasn’t fit to be Queen and she was right. I agree she was unnecessarily rude to her though.
You can tell Henry wanted to give her a wink and smile when she was a child and pushed the French Prince.
He kind of smirked after he said her name. He was definitely one proud father in that moment
Sarah Bolger is an amazing actress...she nailed the essence of her character...havent seen her in something for a long time
Have you seen her in Once Upon A Time? :) She isn’t in many scenes but I think she was great as Princess Aurora

@ I want to say they were in at least 1 or 2 scenes together. Guess I need to rewatch the show to find out, lol
@@KickinSapphire me too, probably 😂
@ Hahaha, having to rewatch moments of a great show. How will we possibly cope with this fate? 🤣🤣
I always thought she oddly looked like she could be Natalie Dormer's daughter or younger sister.
Natalie Dormer would have made a great Katherine of Aragon with her natural blonde hair. She had similar facial features to Katherine
Yeah! I wonder if they could act as mother and daughter in another film script
The two actress do look very similar they should play sisters on something.
Natalie is related to the lady in a waiting who was very loyal to Katherine of Aragorn, a Dormer!
Honestly, yeah❤❤
The way teenager Katherine Howard bounces her hand on her hips is hilarious and tragic at the same time - she is so doomed
Just portrayed as a brat-bitch. What a travesty!😂😂😂

She was a true princess well mannered and educated like is mother’s Katherine
Excellent. I really admire the way she carried herself like a Queen
😂😂😂
It was so sad how she didn't get with the guy she fell in love with 🤧
Well in real life during that time people rarely gets that

The worse thing Henry did was not marrying her when she was younger.
He didn’t want her producing heirs that could be a threat to his son. Henry was incredibly short sighted in this.
No... it was better than that. Mary deserved better. She deserved happiness. She would have been dishonored by her husband in an arranged marriage.

I agree, she would be Happy and be not being a shadow behind her father, poor child
I LOVE HER.
Eustace Chapuys was more of a dad to her than her own dad

What was happening in 1:12
Anne was dreaming
Anne Boleyn was having a nightmare where she dreamt that she was burning alive while Mary was watching her smiling

Queen Mary was redheaded!
Sarah still did a good job and Henry VIII was also a redhead but the show shows a brown haired king.
