Make sure too to put all your valuables into the safe in your room while she is taking her shower. I always tell her to take the shower first. That way I can use the safe while she is in the shower. Put your watch, passport, and any money (beyond what you will give to her) in the safe. Then when you take your shower it’s all put away in the safe. She can’t get to it. In case.

Any half decent hotel will retain her id at reception and call your room when she leaves to check everything is okay, if it isn’t- they will retain her id
and call the police if you have problems. This is true I believe, so no worries there. Always book a decent hotel, it pays in the long run - for security if

A few years back, I picked up a freelancer from Rolling Live 3 on Soi 8. She was an older lady but was a great dancer. After Rolling Live, she took me karaoke singing before heading back to the hotel. She was a terrific sh@g and I had a great night with her.

Getting a working girl in Thailand is very similar to buying a car! The ago go is the dealership where you get the pretty newer makes and models with a mama San warranty. The beer bars are like used car dealers where you can still get a good car just not as new and pretty and still with a mama San warranty. The car listings in papers and magazines is like ThaiFriendly. Sometimes the photos aren’t like what’s advertised so you need a bit of luck to score . And buying a car off the street from a private person is the same like picking up a girl off the streets! No warranty, no promises and completely your own risk! 🤣

trev , i only use freelance ladys , i very rarely pay barfines ,in 12 years of coming to pattaya i have never had a bad experiance , i pick them up around treetown ,in imsomnia or beach road and always take them back to my room, no problems , i now have around 7 freelance ladies who i call on line and then take them out for the night , yes i always bag up and once in my room and put my wallet in the safe .....

I've been back in Australia for about 10 days now, and your video just made me miss Pattaya all the more 😥😥But I can assure you that Beach Rd still has plenty of freelancers - I didn't see the police hassle any of them during my 2 months in Pattaya.
Police do their regular round up and fines for the news lol
had about 20/30 freelancers last visit. Never any problems easy to order one to your room .very convenient. found them all to be very honest. maybe just lucky will try again when i get back

You have to be sensible. Two mates of mine got a bit tipsy as they walked near the beach. A pretty girl called one of them over and he stupidly followed her. When the other one went back to look to see where his mate had gone he found him semi-conscious on the sand after being bashed on the head by a man who stole his camera and valuables. They reported it to the Tourist Police but they couldn’t do much about it apart from advising them to take more care in future!

I stay at 4 or 5 Star hotels in Pattaya and I bring the girls all back to my hotel room! Nothing every has gone wrong! All the hotels take the girls ID and then return their id's after the ladies leave the hotel. If you don't accompany the ladies when they leave, the staff always calls the hotel room to make sure your ok! You gentlemen understand correct??

@@paulmcfarlane3250 Hi bud. The hotels I stayed at never changed anything extra for guests to my room. Before booking your hotel you should inquire if guests are allowed for free or if you need to pay extra.
it was 2 hotels on beach road that was years ago l did say to hotels l not happy with hotel about this hotel told me l had to check in with girl

I hired a beach rd girl a few years ago and she was stunning. I took her back to my hotel, which meant that she had to produce her id at reception. Of course I made sure there were no valuables or cash kicking around. All ok, no problems and I definitely bagged up!

From the other perspective, be nice to the girls. Just because they're from another country and do the job they do does not mean you can treat them poorly. I have heard first hand stories of men being very mean to freelancers. We are all human, be respectful.

Yes Trevor's a bar owner and has to handle the girls...many will say there is a conflict of interest but be fair, he promotes many bars and businesses and covers many topics of interest to those going to Pattaya. His info is for those who already decided to go to Pattaya, it is not aimed to convince a newby to go. He offers his knowledge, and he does have the experience so it is well worth listening to.....now what you do after listening is up to you. Yes he owns a bar but its obvious he want his customers safe, infact he wants everyone who goes to Pattaya to be safe.
Most freelancers work off line groups close to home now, especially because its so quiet the Laos girls that work in the Nth East have gone home leaving local freelancers the local work which is charged by the hr.

I've had more problems over the years with the girls in gogo bars than I've ever had Freelancers in fact just the other night. I went to the Las Vegas gogo bar in LK metro where I meet a beautiful girl we agreed a price for long time but when I went back to my condo she demanded payment up front, which made me suspicious. After further conversation it turned out she was only going do short time with me.
So I got ripped off for the 1200b. Bar fine plus the drinks.
So I'll never be visiting Las Vegas gogo bar again😂

I Suppose most men would just pay up so she's able to get away with it a lot of the time.
That's a common scam lady converting longtime into shortime.
I've been to BKK and Pattaya on many occasions - always on a stop over so I'm usually there for three / four days max.
My routine is go early doors to a go-go bar before the nice girls disappear. Go short time. Always back to my hotel. Then have a sleep. Wake up and shower etc. Then go cruising for freelancers usually in clubs.
But I have to say I have met some lovely girls just walking down the street. 2 AM on walking street is especially good in my experience. I've never had any issues at all.
I'm about to come back - this time for a bit of a holiday. SO I'm having a trawl through Thai Friendly. I have to say that the quality of the girls there is pretty average. There are some nice ones but they quote very high rates for short time.
I'm going to give it a go though.

I have been Pattaya 11 times, met many freelancers and never any problems, But 3 times I have had big problems with drunk bar girls after bar fining them, And the 'point of contact' bars all backed their girls and told me where to go 😅 and one of my mates got HIV from a bar girl in soi 8 = so they don't all check
I didn't say they all check I said many do. As for backing the girl well there is always too sides to the story so I would have listened to both
if some bars healthy check they girls enery month u can still get hiv if is very badluck but is not easy tell where get if have to wait 3 months and after can be see in your blood u get or not.(use protection,it is own fault if get it and not used

I have always treated girls like a business transaction, be clear what you want up front and agree on a price and time , it’s not expected that you pay for a bolt ride for her to get back but I always offer and call the bolt myself and pay the driver myself , you then have proof she left you in one piece, cover your arse every chance you get.

I've always used freelancers and had no problems that I couldn't sort out myself.
There's ways of having freelancers without problems and that's what your video should be about.
How to meet freelancers safely. Not only hundred problems you'll get with freelancers if you don't know what you are doing.
But that's the whole point about IF you don't know what you're doing. You do so great, but not everyone is experienced or street savvy

I think his intent was good. But you are correct by him not pointing out ways to be smart about it. For instance. He probably should have mentioned to get their driver's license information. If they won't show you their ID then don't take them. Some hotels will make a photo copy of the ID to keep for your protection. If they don't show it at least for the hotel then you are better off moving on to another friend. The girls are used to showing their ID at the hotel as a visitor to the room for whatever reason they are visiting. I had had many long term friends come to visit me in my hotel after years of me being out of the country. Showing your ID at the front desk is a kind of standard non-intrusive and private operating process that people are aware of. It is similar to hotel registration. The hotel needs to know who is staying in the room. The hotel never asks about the purpose of the visit nor do you get to see their information. But if something were to happen inappropriately then they have the information for the real police to sort it out properly. The girls usually don't mind the process. Again just move on. I do agree with you. I agree with you that freelancers can be fun if that is what you are interested in.😊

Some great advice there Trev. Personally never do social media as 'the hunt' is half the fun for me. Also the bragging by some of the term 'bareback' is sheer madness. Bar girl or freelancer the risk doesn't go away... ALWAYS use a condom every time.

The Beer garden- I think Red was "Chillin" & Green was looking or interested or something like that.
Never got a freelancer from there but been there a handful of times.
I had a wonderful freelancer in Bkk outside Nana Hotel on my 1st trip but choose ones from the bar every trip (17x) since then.
As mentioned, you can have a great time with a freelancer & each to their own but for me, I look at it as a bit of an insurance policy.
After all, the last thing I want is to have my holiday ruined by a horrible experience.

Good advice. Common sense. Don't go with a girl you don't know to a place she recommends or driving in her cousin taxi. If you have a safe in your hotel room and no valuables around, best option imho, stop at the reception and let them take a copy of her id. As for the ladyboys, it is hard for me to believe that anybody had been fooled, unless drunk or bringing her to the room without even a small conversation (and almost all of them are pretty straight forward about it). That's brings to the other advice, don't get drunk or high and be alone with strangers. That's make you a high value target and low hanging fruit. As for STDs, as other comments said; bar girl or freelancer the risk is there.

In all my years here I never had an issue with a freelancer in Bangkok or Pattaya. The only one who ever robbed me was a waitress from a well-known bar in Buakhao. She took some money when I was in the shower. I didn't mention it until the morning when she asked for compensation for services rendered. I mentioned it and she immediately took off, immediate show of guilt.

One thing I would add their mate with freelancers and had this issue myself, was price switching agree on one price after the deed is done your confronted with another. It’s gone really pear shaped for some. Also if we’re gonna to be frank the STD”s are NOT just a freelancer issue, I”l leave that one there. What a city, everyone gets burnt at one point in there holiday, might be paying to much for a t shirt, or an extra drink being put in your bin, use your head get merry not drunk and you will have great time

Good vid, but title should be DON'T go with freelancers..coz the cons you mentioned happens less than 1% of the time, you could have done a vid from the pro stance rather than negative., by informing how to protect one self from freelancers scams. The bars are too expensive and freelancers and thaifriendy app is safe enough if one is informed on how to do it safely..800-1500 bht 1-2hrs short time for freelancers, the barfine and drinks itself is more than that,,,on top of the 2-3k the bargirl is asking for, ...Need to stay in hotel that take visitors IDs...make sure the front desk ring up the guest to make sure everything is ok, before they get their ID back,..

It's only expensive if you can't afford it.
Best piece of advice with Freelancers is Take a Photo of their ID especially if your staying in a Airbnb or a Condo

I’ll do dumb things in the heat of the moment, like not bagging up, but the point of contact with the bar is probably the best insurance you can have.

While all the things you say can happen and do, I think its a very tiny percentage of the total monger FL interactions. I have picked up many FL in Thailand and the Philippines and while I have had a couple of bad experiences I have had dozens of good ones. And looking back at some of the bad experiences I could see the red flags and should never have let them into my room to start with. It helps that I never get drunk and never have exposed cash or any such thing so I have never actually lost anything. If you are a total newbie and tend to walk around drunk, then avoid FLs for sure. If you are an experienced world traveller with a level head, Id say the chance of a good or bad experience is the same between FL and Bar girls. Its just cheaper with the FLs

I Have used Thai Friendly on occasions to meet Freelance lady's over all Ok no issues but after contact and Line exchanged and before meet I ask for Video call first to see them in the flesh so to speak..as pointed out in Video 99% have air brushed their photo"s and when you think your getting a fit beauty arriving you may end up with a unexpected Surprise ! Been caught out once never again!..

Hey Paul … quick question.. are the Thai friendly freelancers ok in general and do you advise to video call them before a meet. Also how many asked for extra money for a taxi afterwards when you’ve finished the meet.?
Very true , the TF profiles are photo shopped to the point of being unreognizable when they turn up.
@@markwalker4142 I have been with many freelancers that I met on Thai Friendly. They almost never ask for taxi money at least in Patong. If they do, you can either give it as a tip or politely say no.

I always hook up with a massage girl from one of those Foot Massage places. Just get to know several and bring them fruit and drinks when you go in for a massage. Tip well and speak nice to them. They will meet you after work and or their day off. I had one gal (34 years old) average body and face, but a great hump!

ALL good info Trev. I NEVER bother with Freelancers. Remember there is no such thing as a girl arriving in Pattaya to make a quick buck. They're in Pattaya to make as much money as possible. That is achieved by getting a great contract with a Bar/GoGo etc. If they are Beautiful and walking the streets there is a negative reason why - They might be a thief, They might be sick... They might be blacklisted from all the Bars!

When i was there i was disappointed with walking street, all there seemed to be was russian clubs, agogo bars and indian restaurants. If you are into those things you will have a great time but for me i prefer bars and gentlemen clubs which is why i prefer soi 6, treetown, soi pothole etc

Most of the freelancers tried to "scam" me. There was varying levels. Last year I had a girl send me a Ultra sound picture and said 'It's Yours". That was not possible, I wore a condom and I did not "finish". So I knew it was not mine. She asked for B10,000 to "take care of it". I called her on Line and laughed in her face. She started crying. What a mess.

A tip , about 6 pm to 10pm sit near the twin palms resort, many girls who work, hairdresses and the like become short of money, say hullo to them and ask about there problems, usually kids, rent ,payments, become a white night, done some and had some of my best work doing this for years in patts !, great results were had at my room across the road. in fact found my future wife this way, her pommie husband had just given her a touch up, took over the terms

My experiences with twilight tour guides have always been agreeable. Occasionally a lack of chemistry and I have met a ting tong girl or two. I'm always mystified when I hear stories of outings gone wrong. Copious amounts of alcohol and drugs and a complete lack of common sense are surely at play.

Freelancers in nightclubs was my preferred root, as a young man in my 30's and 40's. Picked up some stunners who didn't want much in terms of $$$, although I always looked after them for being so nice. Try to get a freelancer out with friends, likely to be a safe bet. Beware, some of the solo operators on the streets can be underage, un-hygenic or have a 'brother' ready to put the squeeze you for fcking with his ''sister''.

I used to always barfine girls but if you do that almost every day the barfine and drinks do really add to the cost of a vacation. On my last stays in Pattaya I went with a few freelance girls. That way I skip the fake BS in a bar and save money at the same time. You can take freelance girls to your room, just put your money, credit card and passport in a safe, but you should do that anyway, no matter if it’s a freelance or a bargirl. I never had a problem. Be careful on beach road, many women there are average at best, many ladyboys too, not my cup of thea. Also, some massage ladies are willing to meet you after work. On my last vacation I didn’t pay any barfine at all.

If you take s massage girl out of the parlor, there is a massage shop fine. 500 usually in Patong. Some of them are reluctant to leave the shop. I guess they like the security or in fact, some of them may be underage so be careful.

last time i was in pattaya with a mate we both took a girl each from a bar and both girls talked non stop to each other on the way back to the villa we rented , once back they both tried the i dont do this i wont do that we only sleep etc , 1 mention of going back to the bar to talk to the mamasan and boy did that suddenly make a difference , had they been from beach road would have been a nightmare

You are not wrong about the russians costing an arm and a leg. I met one on her day off from her bar, ended up getting drunk with her and had a great time, she didnt want any money. I found out the next day the bar fine at her bar was 30000 and thats bar fine then its 20000 on top off that for the girl herself, im guessing thats for overnight or 24 hours not quite sure. That was about 12 years ago as well.

While I don't have experience with female or katoy freelancers, I do with male. I was robbed once, many years ago. A learning experience, which at this point I am thankful for.
I now have a rule that I pick the ST room, and they stay off their phone till they leave. Most will accept. If they don't, red flags.
