The best part of your channel Trevor is how you always keep it positive. I like how you tell everyone to be nice to each other and not poke fun a question or telling a story. Keep up the good work

True facts! One point I like to say about the barfine is how it gets cheaper later in the night. However be aware if you stay with the girl from 9pm until midnight you may spend more on lady drinks than you save in the discounted barfine.
Can say, "Been There-Done That." At some point, we all have been first-timers in Pattaya. These bits of advice are valuable for newbies and even for old-timers. Even though I haven't made so many mistakes, I see others make them whenever I go out. Thanks for sharing :-) I have a few friends coming to Pattaya later this season, I will pass the video link over to them to get them prepared 🤪
I use to think these warning videos where a bit redundant and annoying because I have never had problems in gogo bars. But this last week, I saw a guy having big problems that was not of his making. Well, it was but he didn't know he made mistakes. He's an older guy and is completely broke now. Thank you for these videos.
Good advice!! This is good information for the newbie and veterans as well. Two things I would like to add about the lady drinks. 1. As you said, this is a business, and the lady drinks are part of the business and the girls social structure. The drink helps get the girls there money. The girls also want to help their friends get drinks too. Don't be insulted or anger when the girl asks you to buy here friend a drink. She and her friends could get into small arguments if her can't get you to buy her friend a drink or two. Just be clear up front that you will buy one drink for one her friend and that is it. She will push the limit but will understand if you stay firm. It's ok. 2. If there is a bar you like to often visit, buy the main mamasan a drink. Then ask the mamasan which girl she wants you to buy a drink for. The good one will direct you to a girl who needs more drinks for fill out her contract. Mamasans remember this. She will be your buddy and the girls know you are her buddy. This is an advantage for you. I have been friends with a particular mamasan for the last 15 years. She has run several clubs and always has set me up with great girls. She also buys me drinks and has had the club owner buy my drinks. And the last comment, don't be afraid to kindly and sweetly say no. They will ask more than once, it all apart of the game. If you are nice and smile, no is always ok. Remember these girls talk to each other, If you are not nice to one of them, they all know.
@@jonathanjohnson7036 much of what you say applies only when you nearly live in Pats. If you are a typical one or two week warrior, it's completely unnecessary. There are far too many venues to explore than to stake a claim to one or two. Mamasons will often respond to just a smile and upbeat comment to help you out, no money necessary
Top notch advice here! No matter how many times you've been, there's always advice that you didn't think about or a situation you've not come across! Cheers Trev! all the best mate
A friend of mine just returned from Thailand. He told me never bother with the go go bars. He said from the moment you enter they rip you off. The girls are always hitting you for drinks for their friends. The bar fines are ridiculously high. He also said watch your bill all the time . If you get drunk they will hit you with a huge bill. Great advice in the video. But the best advice is don't go to go go bars
I’ve never gotten ripped off. But at the same time I’ve never gotten drunk to that point. You can always just say no and that you just want to drink and get to know her. They all know how it goes. Just how he said, you won’t be the first or the last so don’t be afraid to take control.
@@Chon_17 not everyone is perfect, people are easily manipulated when they take alcohol, that's why the girls want you to drink and spend as much as possible. This is a business and it depends on the girls to get you to spend money.
I'm with the "never been ripped off" brigade, but I was/am relatively generous(therefore a good customer), but also not(too) foolish and made good friends male and female in Bars all over Thailand, it doesn't do any harm that the girls knew I was in the Security business and I had my targets from shooting in Thailand with some Army mates on the walls of my Apartment and am not a sap., I made such good friends that the one time someone(an English lad, friend of a friend with mental problems) spiked me(with ground up Xanax) three girls who knew me brought me home, two stayed cause they were worried about me, but I am pretty familiar from years ago with the effects of Xanax, so I wasn't too bad,the two who stayed also stayed til the afternoon and made me Breakfast/Lunch and wouldn't take any money(I visited them all that night and made sure to reward them with drinks and tips and recommendations to their Mamasans and Bar owners) Still long distance friends(not sponsor!) with the three of those Ladies, and many other Thai people male and female. Looking forward to heading back for Xmas and January.
Superb advice. 40 years of travel I could not agree more. Enjoy your night and pay your bills..... Its 14 euros a drink in Amsterdam now so Thailand is still a snip....
Hi Trev, been off youtube for several months, missed all your videos. Time to catch up! Just sending a token of appreciation for all the work you put into your content. Being married and 63 yrs old i will probably never experience Thailand personally. I accept that, and enjoy Pattaya thru your eyes and wonderful videos. Go Man City!!
When I go in, I check the bin every ticket that goes in, when it gets closed to 1k baht, I pop 1k into bin, then start a new ticket, that way I am in control. Always first drink goes to the Mamasan, Mamasan will steer you to the type of girl you are looking for, and the Mamasan tend to be the best conversationist in the bar.
Some great advice. Thank you for sharing. I have yet to visit Thailand but i do plan to. So your videos are very good for helping me and people like me get a heads up on things. Thank you for another great video. I left a like as usual 👍
Had a bad experience years ago. The young lady came with me had a few drinks out and about with me and my friends. Got back to the hotel she all of a sudden she had a headache. I offered her some painkillers she had some special tablets at her place. So I asked for my bar fine back she declined but my friend was good friends with the owner. I reminded her this and she gave me my money back so don’t worry about asking for your money back.
I have a tip. negotiate for all services and expectations before the bar fine is paid. Make sure you both understand you will pay her after the services have been rendered. Also, once you are back in the room, put the money on the nightstand and tell her this is for her AFTER the performance, I add another 500 or 1000 baht, show her and put it into the drawer of the nightstand and tell her this is bonus for good service. If you have a great time pay her the extra baht bonus, she is likely to work harder for the bonus and she will remember you next time.
@ginger_breadman i understand for some people that's alot. I personally try to steer clear of freelancers. This is one area I don't mind getting exactly what I want, and I'm willing to pay a premium for it.
Hell No! Stop trying to be an overachiever...She's going to remember you for being a sucker. Pay her the agreed amount and keep it moving...you trying to write the b**** into your Will or something!?
@mrseasoner to each there own. I want a great experience and money is how you get it. Do you think you get what you want because of your sparking personality? No, these girls don't just "want" to provide good customer service, you get what you pay for.
Good advice. As a newbie I used to walk into a bar, take a seat, order a drink, and then take a look around. I wasted so much money buying drinks in bars that I would have walked back out of if I'd just taken the time to look around when first walking in. I also made the mistake of buying lady drinks for multiple girls. I think we're all afraid of being labelled a 'cheap charlie' and the girls use this to their advantage. The one thing I never really got into was ringing the bell.. spending all that money for one quick 'thank you' and then seeing the girls go back to what they were doing seemed mad to me. The bars are such a great place for an evening's entertainment, but can also be a place to get into a fair bit of strife. Knowing what to expect and what behaviours are acceptable is important.
@@marksallai2289 Some people are just desperate for attention. It's like the Korean guys who used to throw money from the top level in the Dollhouse in Angeles City
Quick question? Are agogo bars different from the normal bars with pool tables I can see in the video ? Planning my first trip in Jan! Pattaya seems more cost friendly than Phuket! Great video lots of common sense for new travellers there !!
I laughed at the ring the bell comment. Yep, I rang the bell on my birthday. I thought there were 5 staff. Turned out there was more like 15! No idea who I was buying drinks for, I'm sure they brought in all the street vendors but what the hell, it was my birthday and a one off.
Wow, this is very very very good information. 5 star information. I’m only at page 4, but I love everything so true. I’ve been many times and I do everything as you say and it works like there’s no tomorrow
Good tips here, i learnt the hard way not to video or take pictures when i was asked not to. They can get really aggressive and thats when you realise your a tourist and not a friend to those people.
I took a mate for his first trip maybe 6 years ago, he rang the bell in sapphire when it was rammed packed lol, he had no idea what he was getting into 🍻
My favourite Gogo ever was Angelwitch, spent many a night in there. Because the girls all knew me, I would always get dragged up to partake in the shows. Good times....😊❤
In Nana Plaza recently in bkk I found one of the cashiers was quite friendly and a better looker & body than the girls dancing 😅, am seeing hopefully on her night off ..
Couple of tips to add (sorry if you've covered these already in earlier videos....).... 1) Don't fall for the 6 shots for the price of 4 type trick. I did and before you know it, waitresses walk past your table and down a shot, flash you a smile and carry on. Before you know it you're down to just 2 drinks - for you and the girl. Only did it once and then went back to buying individual drinks again - much easier to control without appearing to be a tight ar$e. 2) I was told by one girl that the bar fine would reduce once we were past midnight..... then surprise (!!!) it didn't - some rubbish about not having sold enough drinks.... and she would be happy to leave but the bar fine was the same price. Basically this is just a con to get you to buy more lady drinks and then you bar fine her anyway.... which leads me to #3.... 3) Once you have decided that you would like to spend time with a particular girl, have "the chat" and then bar fine her as soon as you can, otherwise you're just wasting money on lady drinks. 4) Without sounding disrespectful, talk to the ladies about the things you would like ("the chat") and prices - as if they are a machine. At first I was pussy footing around, maybe shy, maybe embarrassed, maybe nieve, and really they'd heard it all before and really it was an easy conversation. Once you've had "the chat" and everything's agreed, you just revert back to being a couple again.... it's abit disconcerting the first time but it's easy after that. Also, on the same lines - once you've said your first polite "No" to a second girl's lady drinks, it is much easier subsequently. I found "No, I am just buying for me and her" (pointing to the girl I am with) was accepted without issue and didn't burn any future bridges !! ;-) Hope this helps!!
A few years ago i was in a go go bar on 6 for first time, girls were taking photos of me with other girls and i took some of them , i had no idea of any photography rules so i just assumed it was ok and i didn't have a problem, i had a great time but i did get rinsed but no big deal, sadly that place is no more but i will always remember the special time i had there 😊
Wrap it up! Bring your favorite rubber with you too because even large size in Thailand are small. You can buy them online but they’re often sold out or expensive.
Ive had ones of the street , bars , go go bars ,soi 6 but i would say the majority are freelancers in clubs and i can honestly say ive never had any negative experiences only happy times .
I remember having a lot more fun in Thailand when I was not burdened by knowing about all the tricks on either side of the attack (their) and defense (our) side.
@@Buzzinpattaya yes of course, good going. but i think it also subliminally tends to have the effect i mentioned above because the bliss of ignorance and the fun that comes with it is gone.
Remember, most girls in go go bars just want to hustle drinks, take a share of the tips, have their wages, and go home to their husband and three children. Most DO NOT go out unless the bar catches fire! ☺️
@@Chon_17 same same, definitely at least 50%(maybe I'm just as "handsum man" as they say :p) but never got a refusal or even reluctance, that would suck!(and not in the right way!)
You make a lot of good points here. In regards to checking your bill, just pay as you go then you don't have to worry about being overcharged. But there's 2 rules I would tell newbies in Thailand. And they are more important than your 12 in my opinion. 1. Do not go into these bars by yourself. Especially if you're wasted. They will dislike you from the get go especially if you're wasted. One time I went into a bar in Pattaya by myself sober, had 2 beers when I usually have about a 12 beer limit, and they drugged my drink. Luckily for me I spoke to the staff in there before and they realized I lived in BKK for 25 years so they just took me to a hotel and didn't steal anything off me. And they were right to do that cus I would've called my police friends down there had they taken anything from me. Which is why I totally disagree with your suggestion to not speak Thai. Speaking Thai that time saved me from getting all my stuff robbed. And 2. Smile. Sounds weak, but very true. Thai people are always much happier when you are polite to them, and just by smiling at them, they will always smile back at you and treat you better. Can always wai and say hello in Thai etc., and they love that. The second rule applies to Bangkok in general.
@khylelewis I believe you, I'm 100% certain I was spiked on Walking Street I'm sensible enough not to drink myself unconscious wake up on a side Soi minus phone, money and the thieving scumbags even robbed my shoes😡 lesson learned to never leave an unfinished drink and go for a piss
@@ardenner-z8c Yes a number of years ago, last I can recall was being in a place mid way on Walking Street believe its name was Lucky Star/ Seven Stars something like that, grateful I didn't wake up attached to a drip minus a kidney or other body part😨
@@R.S.407 sorry to hear that. Actually, when it happened to me, they must've drugged the second one from the start because I didn't go to the bathroom or anything. I don't claim to be some big shot over here. Far from it. But I do have a friend in the Royal Thai police. And I know those police don't tolerate places on Sukhumvit or walking street doing that. Especially if they have evidence. That's why I disagreed with what this guy said about speaking Thai. Basically, if they think you're not just some tourist, and you've been in Thailand a long time, then you've basically just called their bluff. Because at that point, it's up to them if they really wanna take the risk and do stuff like that. And from their point of view, if someone's lived there that long, in my case before a lot of them were even born, then they think, and in this case probably knew that they were stepping into dangerous grounds. Why else would they have found me a hotel, dragged me there and just let me sleep there without taking even a penny off me? I'd imagine I passed out, and someone was like 'DUDE!!! DO NOT touch him.' I'm going on here lol.... but you get the point. Speaking Thai, and even singing along with the Thai songs will alert them like 'OH DAMN! HE KNOWS THE WORDS?' At that point, they know you're not just some tourist.
Very important tip from my experience. If you have found the girl you want at the Agogo and you want to take it further discuss the idea before you invest 3k on ladydrinks and other crap. She can say no for any reason and you have to start again at the next bar.
Good vlog. I like this one. very educational. Maybe you can do another talking abut reasonable prices with drinks, fines, and ST and LT at different times of year and how to spot beer bars to avoid. From a westerner perspective.
don't fall in love with a bar girl, she is not your girl your just her next customer, don't argue or get aggressive with a bar pay your bill and head to the door to lose a few bhats better than to lose a few teeth, establish that your a butterfly in an agogo bar early on otherwise your are stuck with the same girl over and over again and you became her walking ATM. nice reminders sir trev. cheers.
100% that.... you do yourself a huge favor stating that you are a butterfly during your conversation. That is especially helpful on S 6 as you easily could see her if you walk the street again during your visit. If you do go back to the same venue, its a good idea to buy her one LD to save face and show respect. Now the stupid part is that the girls are all butterflys for f's sake, how they think we should be held to a different standard is nuts....lol
Great info as always Trev! Surprised ny the Thai speaking thing but thanks for the heads up. In the Philippines most foreigners don't speak Tagalog so if you do it normally goes a long way as the level of respect goes up and the the bs meter goes down lol and you can still have a good experience. I would say rule 13 is the customers have gone in for the girls so the last thing anyone wants to see is you taking your shirt off and dancing on the stage 😂😂
Note for first-timers ringing the bell: you can't unring it. You'll be expected to pay up even if it was a lot more than you were expecting. You can't back out of that one, so ask before you do it.
There is a large foreign European group who are now running many Agogo’s on walking street and they are taking the piss big time with prices. Always ask the price of everything before committing to anything. Always say no to excessive and multiple lady drinks , particularly the buy drinks for my friends girls. Check multiple bars , you will soon find who the rip off bars are. Check down the side streets , Soi diamond in particular , Windmill , sapphire. Don’t forget the nightclubs for freelancers without lady drinks and barfine nonsense. Most of all remember the number one bar in Thailand - Billboard in Bangkok - only has a 1k barfine . Don’t let these bandits on walking street Pattaya continue their high prices.
I never had this before but in a gogo in Nana Plaza the serving staff checked your bin often to see ifit been moore then 20 min you ordered and if so they asked you to buy moore or leave. I can understand if the dont want cheap charlie sitting with one drink for the evening but the bar wasn't busy at all. A little to aggresive for my taste. For the record i always leave a little bigger tip if i dont drink much.
yeah, 20 minutes is a bit of a hassle. Had this happen in Spankies and I went straight to the manager at my third drink and told him I would check bin and leave it did not stop.
Trev - thanks for taking the time to read comments. I just want to express my gratitude. Fantastic video work on your channel. I suspect you deal with jerks on a daily basis and I hope this comment is counter to their trolling. Keep of the hard work - the results are pure entertainment on our end, I think.
Here is a rule you forgot, Trevor. If you plan to barfine a girl, don't let her get too drunk! She may seem ok right before you leave, but then the last couple of shots kick in and you suddenly have to take care of her and not the other way around. Don't think you can bring her back and get a refund. You're stuck with a drunken girl who will be mostly useless for whatever you had in mind. If you see that she is past saving, pay and go and look her up another night if you want.
Sometimes they’ll suddenly play drunk right after the fine too. Girls not honoring the agreement have become a real problem post-pandemic. There’s a million excuses.
@@DryOreo007There might be less walking, or even standing up... if you prefer to carry a limp body to your room and then... well, I'm not even going to think about it... up to you though. Go Go girl's are the hottest 🔥 always had the best girls from there and no drama. A couple of tips Always pick a girl taller than you prefer as they all appear alot shorter once the platforms come off 😅 And check them out in better light as they all look better in the club lights
Trevor. Golden white stallions surround you in ethereal healing light. "Why do we scream at each other... this is what it sound like when...." Love. There's just, love.
gogo girls/bargirls are most often than not also freelancers after closing so just get the contact info and pay when she works for herself. also good vid mate, reccommended to some friends
Thanks for this. Perfect timing as im leaving next week. Can someone give me a range for the Bar fine? I understand each can be different, but whats the range
There are a couple of gogo bars in LK Metro that have signs on the door or building that says “no bar owners” allowed in,”no bar managers” allowed in. Not seen those type of signs before.
Good video as ever Trev. Not a fan of Gogo's - always seemed to me like the most efficient way to end up skint real quick. Proud to be a cheap charlie beer bar / GC punter :)
I was just in Bangkok for 9 nights and in Billboard nana plaza which many rate as the number 1 Agogo in Thailand. It was packed with top looking dancers every night and barfine was only 1k baht before midnight and 700baht after. I don’t know why anyone would pay the insane prices being quoted by Pattaya bars except maybe through ignorance. Mostly I saw Koreans and Japanese getting overcharged on walking street last night in the Agogo’s. Other punters were having a much cheaper and better time down Soi diamond in windmill and other bars.
Trevor in the bars I have meant some actual gree man. They have taken me on a golfing trip to Scotland. We stayed in an Earl's Castle. My mates make me feel like I'm Sean Connery. Can you believe how cool this is. Ps2. Cod. Let's Roll.
Gosh I remember the first time I met a real gree man in the bar. That was how I met me wife. Initially we had an adventurous charade at the Shrine of Dismemberment in Ontario Canada. Adventurous old boys- too shay.
Plus, Trevor. I have noticed at the beginning of each show you say, "hay guys how ya doing." I would prefer if you started the show by saying "how ya doing guys." I think it's how real cool dudes would say this. Cheers.
If a lady tells you that she has to go sit outside unless she has a drink, tell her that you'll see her outside (which you won't, it's game). And, if you get tired of being pestered by servers/toms about drinks, just hold your glass close to your chest or lap so they don't keep coming by picking it up to check how much is in there (which I think is disrespectful as hell)... like checking a child's plate to see if they ate all of their vegetables.
Question: I don't drink alcohol. What's the best way to be good customer and not offend a business if I don't drink beer and whiskey? I'm not trying to spend less, or be a cheap charlie. But how would you go about enjoying yourself, buy the girl(s) their drinks, and stay in good graces?
I remember telling two young German lads to stop recording in go go bars they were green as grass they had just arrived and it was there first time lol

Most of the staff in Pattaya gogo bars are now average looking, some are older and looked good 10 years ago. Beer bar quality to a large degree. And you pay 3-4 times more than what locals would pay. Go ahead!
@@x7zy-xx true dat, for most ggs. given that we can cruise ~600+ on the 6, there is always at least two or three that are equivalent to the ws ggs. Reality is the hotties have more options open to them with the growing income of Thai men and Thailand in general is emerging from ten years back

He also said watch your bill all the time . If you get drunk they will hit you with a huge bill.
Great advice in the video.
But the best advice is don't go to go go bars
Cheers for sharing your friends experience
I’ve never gotten ripped off. But at the same time I’ve never gotten drunk to that point. You can always just say no and that you just want to drink and get to know her. They all know how it goes. Just how he said, you won’t be the first or the last so don’t be afraid to take control.
@@Chon_17 not everyone is perfect, people are easily manipulated when they take alcohol, that's why the girls want you to drink and spend as much as possible. This is a business and it depends on the girls to get you to spend money.
I'm with the "never been ripped off" brigade, but I was/am relatively generous(therefore a good customer), but also not(too) foolish and made good friends male and female in Bars all over Thailand, it doesn't do any harm that the girls knew I was in the Security business and I had my targets from shooting in Thailand with some Army mates on the walls of my Apartment and am not a sap., I made such good friends that the one time someone(an English lad, friend of a friend with mental problems) spiked me(with ground up Xanax) three girls who knew me brought me home, two stayed cause they were worried about me, but I am pretty familiar from years ago with the effects of Xanax, so I wasn't too bad,the two who stayed also stayed til the afternoon and made me Breakfast/Lunch and wouldn't take any money(I visited them all that night and made sure to reward them with drinks and tips and recommendations to their Mamasans and Bar owners)
Still long distance friends(not sponsor!) with the three of those Ladies, and many other Thai people male and female.
Looking forward to heading back for Xmas and January.
Superb advice. 40 years of travel I could not agree more. Enjoy your night and pay your bills..... Its 14 euros a drink in Amsterdam now so Thailand is still a snip....
wow that's expensive mate
Ibiza 20+ euros
Thanks Grandpa 😅 broken all those rules many times and had a blast❤

Hi Trev, been off youtube for several months, missed all your videos. Time to catch up! Just sending a token of appreciation for all the work you put into your content. Being married and 63 yrs old i will probably never experience Thailand personally. I accept that, and enjoy Pattaya thru your eyes and wonderful videos.
Go Man City!!
Thank you mate that is very kind of you, thank you! Have a great day and welcome back....
@Buzzinpattaya I will Trevor, enjoy your day as well!
Nice one
Some great advice. Thank you for sharing. I have yet to visit Thailand but i do plan to. So your videos are very good for helping me and people like me get a heads up on things. Thank you for another great video. I left a like as usual 👍
Happy to hear that!
Cheers for sharing your experience with us mate
I have a tip. negotiate for all services and expectations before the bar fine is paid. Make sure you both understand you will pay her after the services have been rendered. Also, once you are back in the room, put the money on the nightstand and tell her this is for her AFTER the performance, I add another 500 or 1000 baht, show her and put it into the drawer of the nightstand and tell her this is bonus for good service. If you have a great time pay her the extra baht bonus, she is likely to work harder for the bonus and she will remember you next time.
Cheers
1000 baht bonus? Heck, that’s how much you can get for ST on beach road in central Pattaya 😂
Went to Patrick’s yesterday for Lunch, and Ali Baba again last night for dinner. Thanks for the tips, Trevorrrrrr!
Hope ya had a great feed
Thank you for sharing your experience
I have seen some guys ring the bell all night lol
@@marksallai2289 Some people are just desperate for attention. It's like the Korean guys who used to throw money from the top level in the Dollhouse in Angeles City
Quick question? Are agogo bars different from the normal bars with pool tables I can see in the video ?
Planning my first trip in Jan!
Pattaya seems more cost friendly than Phuket!
Great video lots of common sense for new travellers there !!
Yes totally different
I laughed at the ring the bell comment. Yep, I rang the bell on my birthday. I thought there were 5 staff. Turned out there was more like 15! No idea who I was buying drinks for, I'm sure they brought in all the street vendors but what the hell, it was my birthday and a one off.
Haha yeah happy birthday lol
Very educational, Trev. They weren’t my scene at all and I worked that out quickly but each to their own

wow this is A+ advice...Thanks
You're so welcome!
Wow, this is very very very good information. 5 star information. I’m only at page 4, but I love everything so true. I’ve been many times and I do everything as you say and it works like there’s no tomorrow
You are so welcome!
Perhaps it works like there will be a tomorrow, no? 😂
Lots of good tips. Some of them can be summarized with: show some respect. Others were new to me. I'll try to remember them.
cheers
Agogo's gave me the greatest night of my life which I won't ever forget. If you can find the right one and the right girls it can be beyond epic...
Absolutely
Good tips here, i learnt the hard way not to video or take pictures when i was asked not to. They can get really aggressive and thats when you realise your a tourist and not a friend to those people.
Yeah it's a big no no
always ask - never risk it
Each video and comments I glean another little tidbit of info to file away. Always good to keep repeating the advice.
Thanks for that!
Brilliant advice as always Trev 👍We always appreciate everything you do mate

Thanks Trev , that bit about the tips , was great

I took a mate for his first trip maybe 6 years ago, he rang the bell in sapphire when it was rammed packed lol, he had no idea what he was getting into 🍻
I imagine it is easy to do when in the heat of the moment.
Ouch!!
My favourite Gogo ever was Angelwitch, spent many a night in there. Because the girls all knew me, I would always get dragged up to partake in the shows. Good times....😊❤
Loved the place, was their official photographer for 4 years
Manager Mark was a good guy
In Nana Plaza recently in bkk I found one of the cashiers was quite friendly and a better looker & body than the girls dancing 😅, am seeing hopefully on her night off ..
nice one
Thank you very much Trev.
A great common sense advice video.
In fact one of the best I have watched.
Glad you enjoyed it thank you
Couple of tips to add (sorry if you've covered these already in earlier videos....)....
I found "No, I am just buying for me and her" (pointing to the girl I am with) was accepted without issue and didn't burn any future bridges !! ;-)
Hope this helps!!
Cheers mate
A few years ago i was in a go go bar on 6 for first time, girls were taking photos of me with other girls and i took some of them , i had no idea of any photography rules so i just assumed it was ok and i didn't have a problem, i had a great time but i did get rinsed but no big deal, sadly that place is no more but i will always remember the special time i had there 😊
You must have been in Dolls Agogo
Wrap it up! Bring your favorite rubber with you too because even large size in Thailand are small. You can buy them online but they’re often sold out or expensive.
Okay mate
yes too tight for mine lol 555
Ive had ones of the street , bars , go go bars ,soi 6 but i would say the majority are freelancers in clubs and i can honestly say ive never had any negative experiences only happy times .

I remember having a lot more fun in Thailand when I was not burdened by knowing about all the tricks on either side of the attack (their) and defense (our) side.
I learned from my mistakes too but I don't want people making the mistakes I made and ruining their holiday
@@Buzzinpattaya yes of course, good going. but i think it also subliminally tends to have the effect i mentioned above because the bliss of ignorance and the fun that comes with it is gone.
It's just a different vibe and generation here now. You have to be on high alert or you get taken advantage over
Remember, most girls in go go bars just want to hustle drinks, take a share of the tips, have their wages, and go home to their husband and three children.
Most DO NOT go out unless the bar catches fire! ☺️
Yep
Hmmm, wrong! I’d say it’s at least about 50/50
@@Chon_17 same same, definitely at least 50%(maybe I'm just as "handsum man" as they say :p) but never got a refusal or even reluctance, that would suck!(and not in the right way!)
Thanks mate for very informative and so down to earth chanel, cheers 🍻
No problem 👍
Yeah makes sense
@khylelewis I believe you, I'm 100% certain I was spiked on Walking Street I'm sensible enough not to drink myself unconscious wake up on a side Soi minus phone, money and the thieving scumbags even robbed my shoes😡 lesson learned to never leave an unfinished drink and go for a piss
@@R.S.407 What bar was it? Was it long time ago?
Cheers mate
Excellent advice and content Trevor thank you , can't wait I'm travelling to Thailand November 11th 1st stop Pattaya can't wait 😉
Sounds great!
It's very simple mate, you won't have to worry about making any mistakes if you just stay CLEAR of go-go bars.
Okay
Good vid Trev on the tips. even thou i have been going for years, a couple of points you mentioned i was unaware of them, so thanks
Great to hear!
Coming this Monday..

Good vlog. I like this one. very educational. Maybe you can do another talking abut reasonable prices with drinks, fines, and ST and LT at different times of year and how to spot beer bars to avoid. From a westerner perspective.
Cheers mate see what I can do
don't fall in love with a bar girl, she is not your girl your just her next customer, don't argue or get aggressive with a bar pay your bill and head to the door to lose a few bhats better than to lose a few teeth, establish that your a butterfly in an agogo bar early on otherwise your are stuck with the same girl over and over again and you became her walking ATM. nice reminders sir trev. cheers.
yeh i think Freelancer is a Better deal, ive found a bunch on that famous dating platform.
I get ya
Cheers mate and yeah it has benefits and bonuses
Note for first-timers ringing the bell: you can't unring it. You'll be expected to pay up even if it was a lot more than you were expecting. You can't back out of that one, so ask before you do it.
Well said
Really good tips there especially the bit about speaking Thai. Many thanks.
Cheers mate
Cheers for the update
It was 700 baht 6 months ago
Solid talk there Trevor thank you! 👍
No problem 👍
I never had this before but in a gogo in Nana Plaza the serving staff checked your bin often to see ifit been moore then 20 min you ordered and if so they asked you to buy moore or leave. I can understand if the dont want cheap charlie sitting with one drink for the evening but the bar wasn't busy at all. A little to aggresive for my taste. For the record i always leave a little bigger tip if i dont drink much.
Mental!
yeah, 20 minutes is a bit of a hassle. Had this happen in Spankies and I went straight to the manager at my third drink and told him I would check bin and leave it did not stop.
By far the most aggressive staff/dancers/management is at Soi Cowboy. Holy heck they really turned me off from ever returning.
Trev - thanks for taking the time to read comments. I just want to express my gratitude. Fantastic video work on your channel. I suspect you deal with jerks on a daily basis and I hope this comment is counter to their trolling. Keep of the hard work - the results are pure entertainment on our end, I think.
Cheers mate much appreciated and yeah I do get my daily nob comment that gets deleted and blocked lol
If you see that she is past saving, pay and go and look her up another night if you want.
yeah I get ya mate
Sometimes they’ll suddenly play drunk right after the fine too. Girls not honoring the agreement have become a real problem post-pandemic. There’s a million excuses.
Nah I like them like that. Less talking
@@DryOreo007There might be less walking, or even standing up... if you prefer to carry a limp body to your room and then... well, I'm not even going to think about it... up to you though. Thanks for this. Perfect timing as im leaving next week. Can someone give me a range for the Bar fine? I understand each can be different, but whats the range
Nice one mate work on 1,500 - 3k away from Walking st
There are a couple of gogo bars in LK Metro that have signs on the door or building that says “no bar owners” allowed in,”no bar managers” allowed in. Not seen those type of signs before.
Probably something to do with a certain monopoly that took over soi6 going out recruiting.
Yeah seen those
Good video as ever Trev. Not a fan of Gogo's - always seemed to me like the most efficient way to end up skint real quick. Proud to be a cheap charlie beer bar / GC punter :)
Yeah fair one mate
I was just in Bangkok for 9 nights and in Billboard nana plaza which many rate as the number 1 Agogo in Thailand.
It was packed with top looking dancers every night and barfine was only 1k baht before midnight and 700baht after. I don’t know why anyone would pay the insane prices being quoted by Pattaya bars except maybe through ignorance. Mostly I saw Koreans and Japanese getting overcharged on walking street last night in the Agogo’s. Other punters were having a much cheaper and better time down Soi diamond in windmill and other bars.
